Great tips James! For my weedless version, I actually use a flatland Tackle weedless Ned ewg as well as Lifted ned ewg, Mainly because of the head.. It’s very similar to the owner you have. I do love those small owner EWG that you mentioned. They are awesome for small worms and lizards. God bless!
Great idea, but where that line ties is, is NO BUENO! Your fishing the bottom and that line tie is pointing down, eventually or inevitably your line will get cut or roughed up from either rocks or timber. Tried it, caught a few fish, but lost a few jig heads as well

Thank you for taking the time to put these videos out, definitely information we can all use.
Steve glad you find them useful!
Z-Man Nedlockz EWG may be a little better option since you can get down to the lighter weights.
Definitely helpful tips and great videos thank you
Glad you like them George!
Thanks James. I will try it out.

Why do you know so much about ned rigs?
Like anything in fishing the more time or experience the more you learn
We should just call them Ned rigs and weedless Ned rigs and lose the stupid shakey head name.
