So that's why they separated the combat showcase! Just what I thought! I love the direction they're going. The sudden cut with the combat showcase limits the potential to show a more coherent story. Separating it from the Resonator cinematic is a great decision. Also, THIS is the WuWa I signed up for. Mature and dark! I was surprised that they showed blood and actual open wounds. I mean they did with Danjin's but still. The fact that we get a playable resonator that is capable of k1ll1ng someone is also a great step in the right direction. I also love the NPC-interactions and how they showed the way they fight. Every video they release adds depth to the world-building and lore. The fact that Black Shores doesn't discriminate on which members to accept says a lot. Brilliant cinematic as always!

Kuro just did that because they are not going to tolerate leaks anymore and people are starving to know character info, so they come with a reasonable solution: They are giving new resonator info at least 1 week before the character release, their animations in the character combat showcase, and their materials, weapon and attribute through the resonator profile reveal post. They are also delaying character drip marketing because they realized they fucked up their marketing by revealing Shorekeeper and Camellya too soon, giving people desire to see leaks and too much time to save money/astrite during that large period of 2-3 months. So they changed their approach and trying to find a way to balance their marketing, making it more impactful while keeping fair enough for the players, that's how they are going to make things from now on. So... no, it's not because of ZZZ.

On top of Wuwa's already excellent NPC design, it was actually cool to see some non-Resonators and how they fight; swordsmanship, pugilism, tool, was actually really refreshing and kinda expands the depth of the world. Also, I'm not convinced many if any of the the BlackShores NPCs actually passed Camellya's test...
my assumption is, the type of fighters resonators or resonators who has forte that only got tested by her. for the scientists or engineers maybe got different test by others like Camellya did though.

I love how Kuro always shows both Rovers. It really shows that never mind the gender, you are the one in focus and it makes both of them feel equal, unlike how some games does it, where you feel one gender is favored over the other.

Why do you think traveler is just using WEAK versions of the archon abilities? Cause they want the free characters to be GARBAGE so you pony up for the gacha ones. Either way considering mihoyo would pull that crap off in a different game, the idea of them doing the same in Genshin by ‘deleting’ one of them to make say… Aether the official protagonist, because they wanna make Lumine become a gacha character with an abyss themed outfit complete with a bunch of glow ups too would be just up that alleyway. Especially since they already did ALTERs in both honkai impact 3rd and honkai star rails with alternate forms of existing characters, often times with very drastically different looks, yeah… wouldn’t put it past them to keep up with the scummy.

Literally all that it amounts to is them pretending they are ‘Yae miko’ like they whisper sexual innuendos in genshin’eers ears, saying it’s coming near when nothing really has progressed in 5 years besides redundant ‘reveltions’, that even Digimon GHOST GAME had better plot progression then them.
And clearly genshite soon as its last region and whatever secret regions they use to milk it longer, they are gonna be just like Digimon ghost game and suddenly pull random lore bomb arsey and totally pretend the story was totally continuity based and NOT episodic based due to how the archon regions had to SPECIFICALLY, deny any connections to any other regions besides monstadt to enable players ever since Fontaine, could skip as many as 3 other regions to ‘catch up’ and treat it also like they did those events of other regions but not mention them either.
Anyway, wuwa on the other hand already put down THREE anchors in just THREE VERSIONS to establish the river.
-A pioneer in the past who helped to establish cities like jinzhou.
-The ‘master’ of the sentinel echo known as Jue and likely many other sentinels to be revealed further in the story.
-The founder or atleast key development member of the Blackshores, a literal group made to study a disaster of the lament and deal with said disasters.
Genshin can’t even let traveler properly earn any feats and either gets handed it like they did all the work or everyone else did all the work to show case them more then the protagonist because mihoyo wants the GACHA characters to stand out more to make people pull for them and not feel as invested in the FREE character instead.
Why do you think traveler is just using WEAK versions of the archon abilities? Cause they want the free characters to be GARBAGE so you pony up for the gacha ones.
In wuwa’s case they make all the characters into an enjoyable breakfast meal instead of being handed moldy hardtack if you don’t spend a luxury to get a crusty expired ham sanvich instead with the ‘hint’ you have a .8% chance it might be a cupcake instead.

They straight up deleted the male character in story due to Theresea messing with the data by accident so you are only able to select the female character for what is literally the FREE character of that new game system that replaced thar PET SYSTEM entirely to instead sell support characters who could serve as in game story units, use the same base models and be more ‘waifu material’, then chibi marketable plushies that they just made chibis of signature weapons then make them actually unique at all.
Either way considering mihoyo would pull that crap off in a different game, the idea of them doing the same in Genshin by ‘deleting’ one of them to make say… Aether the official protagonist, because they wanna make Lumine become a gacha character with an abyss themed outfit complete with a bunch of glow ups too would be just up that alleyway.
Especially since they already did ALTERs in both honkai impact 3rd and honkai star rails with alternate forms of existing characters, often times with very drastically different looks, yeah… wouldn’t put it past them to keep up with the scummy.
Kuro Games is doing their best in every possible way. We respect and love them. Period.
