The Story of Almonte, Part 2 [full film]

Almonte: Transitions is the second half of our two part, three hour documentary series on the history of Almonte. It picks up the story where Almonte's Interwoven Past leaves off covering the era from the 1950s, when Almonte was still very much a booming, self supporting mill town through its difficult transition during the shutdown of all the mills, and it's re-invention to the thriving services based, tourist destination and bedroom/retirement community that is is today.
This film again features numerous interviews with residents, some long time and others more recent, including several of the town's former mayors and business people. As did part one, it also features many photos along with high definition video of many on the exciting events that take place annually.
