The Story of Almonte, Part 1 [full film]

Almonte's Interwoven Past is part one of a comprehensive two part, three hour documentary series of the history of Almonte. This first of the two films covers the early development and growth of the town from 1821 until the Second World War. During this period our small town became a significant player in the worldwide woolen industry.
It has a run time of approximately 90 minutes, and features hundreds of historic photos, interviews with dozens of long time Almonte residents, many of whom are highly knowledgeable historians, and plenty of high definition footage of the places and buildings being discussed.
Part two, which is also a feature length film, is entitled Almonte: Transitions. It also posted here for you enjoyment.
