You know the parents are on the phone with their lawyers as we speak.
easy money
Are they not supposed to be?
I hope so.
For this, well it'll have to show in court that the park had prior knowledge of problems, or hadn't upkept the machine. Other than that, it's hard to get money. @@BruisedNotBrokenLovelyDove
I would be too. That's traumatizing.
You can't be hung upside-down for an extended period of time. It puts to much pressure on the heart from other organs pushing down on it and the heart then can not pump enough blood to your extremities and organs it's a deadly situation and they are all very lucky to have been ok.
The human body is incredibly resilient. Look up Nutty Putty Cave. John was upside down for over 25 hours before he died.
smart first aid tip
iv been through worse
It would need to be hours before it would be a big deal. Not that serious.
@@Whest92😂😂😂
Terrifying. I can’t imagine hanging upside down that long. I think my head would have exploded from all the blood there.
A bunch of tough internet weirdos acting like they wouldn't be traumatized after hanging upside down for half an hour with a bunch of hysterical people who think they might die.
seriously! like they think its not a big deal till the day it actually happens to them.. like dont come crying to us when it happens 😃
Worse trauma than fair rides
No local news coverage
Haha they will be the first ones attempting to sue for their trauma if it happens to them.
I would've probably died... High blood pressure.
For real, that would have absolutely terrified me
Good thing most of them were young people. Older folks will have had a different outcome.
No doubt. I would have been a goner.
God can you imagine an older person who's diabetic or something?
womp womp
I would have worm food myself if I was in that ride. I’m 63.
I’m so happy there all okay
you wouldnt of lived life any differently if they werent
Thank you for saying that my daughter was on that ride that day and genuinely felt she was going lose her life so we deeply appreciate you the person above me Is just sick
Hey, I’m glad she okay and well. That would have shook me, I’d still be recovering ❤️
@@BruisedNotBrokenLovelyDove so happy your child is safe! ❤️ I'm so sorry they experienced that! ☹️🙏 I'm also grateful everything was alright!
@kayskaht2052 thank you so much she wakes up with night sweats 😓 and screaming most nights since it happened but we are working through it thanks again honey
THIS IS WHY I NEVER GO ON THESE RIDES
I imagine he IS traumatized. An older person could have had a brain aneurism or heart attack. Why are rides like torture?
An older person (like myself) would never go on a ride like that.
A old person would never get on a ride like that. Nice try starting a crisis
When have you ever seen anyone above 30 who looks to be 40+ get on those kinds of rides? What an idiotic comment.
@@ThaAlumniMusicGroup The commenter never said old person but an older person such as maybe someone 50+
You mean like all the older people who were on the ride and fine? He's the only person making a fuss about how traumatized he is, probably only so his parents can sue the park. People are all about lying for money and attention anymore
Oh my goodness. How horrific. Knowing you are stuck combined by the height of the ride is terrifying enough. Then to add in being upside down for half hour. The thought of the rides restraints malfunctioning at any moment. Then the blood rush to your head and general circulation, with pressure of the restraints pressing forcefully against your weight. Not your everyday job for the fire brigade.
The ride has been renamed
The Boeing Adventure
😂😂😂 that's so wrong
but so right 💯
I thought he had freckles, poor thing.
Low key I don’t think they’re lying , stuff like that does scar you for life. And I remember as a teen I would go to six flags and when I went to sleep that night I still felt like I was on the rides so he’s 100% right him thinking he’s upside down 😂
Oh yea same I was riding rides all day I’m felt like I was still on the rides turning and twisting and when I dream it was about me being on the kinda ka 😆😆🤣🤣
I am so sorry you all went through this. I can't imagine how scary this was for everyone. Situations like this can affect anyone one emotionally. Time will heal your experience.
Here come the lawsuits.
Why? People should know what they’re getting themselves into getting onto these rides knowing there could be a risk. No one is forcing nor asking them to get on.
@@Hecto356Negligence. No ride should have you upside down that long. If the wrong person was on that ride they would have died and it would have been the parks fault. We will soon see this ride wasn’t maintained proprerly
Free summer passes!...you sign a waiver when you enter a park.
@@NathanStrafes But, no onedied.
@@NathanStrafeslet’s see what the actual facts are first before you make a pre judgment. It could have been a mechanical issue that was beyond human control. It does happen!
I was there when that happened. I wasnt on the ride, but i was watching from a different nearby ride before the park was completely evacuated. The scariest thing was that next in line was my friends, and they could’ve gone on there but in so glad they didn’t
I cant imagine being upside down that long especially that high up. Strain on heart. Blood falling to your hezd n face. Pressure on your shoulders n hips from gravity pushing you towards metal bars n fear of them braking n you crashing to your demise. That may not look scary to all you commentors but iif you lived it i promise itd be a different story. Yiu wouldnt be saying. WEEE THIS IS FUN! youd hear the screams n anxiety n fear would run high! I probably would have had a heart incident n massive headache as Pressure built up. I pray for healing to them all!
Other people were stuck upside on a ride for 4 hours
I am a good friend of hazen and was also on the ride. I feel so bad that me and all my friends had to go thro that.
omg im sorry that’s terrifying. how did your neck and head feel after it i cant imagine the pain..
@@ceska3075 it sucked and everyone was super dizzy. thanks for asking
@tilerandmariexplore8986 you were really on the ride? That is my definte worst nightmare. Did it ever go through your head that it mjght be a long time until you get to the ground or that you might die?
i am soooo sorry 😢
Omg I'm so sorry for what happened
My daughter was also on that ride and it wasn't an half hour it was an hour my daughter was brused so bad and these are kids we are talking about here CHILDREN my baby is traumatized...and FYI we didnt jump on the phone with any attorneys well at least i didnt....my daughter health both physical and mental is first priority to me so after her hospital visit....and now waking up screaming bloody murder i got right on the phone to get her connected with a counselor
So sorry to hear this you should sue them your child deserves whatever she can get out of it she might need therapy and thats lots of money. After what she just went threw. Or health care she could have lost her life so thankful she is ok. But she should get what she deserves. Forget what all these other people say they did not have it happen to them.
It makes me mad they should take more time to make sure rides are safe before letting people get on.
@Jcandy20012 thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ we deeply appreciate that much love and blessings to you and your family ❤️
I’m so thankful they’re okay and I hope they get the support they need to move into a healthy perspective. It could have been so much worse. Thank goodness for first responders. I also think any ride that can potentially stop in a life endangering position is a bit more risky. 😅
This is exactly why I don’t do rides. So glad they were all ok in the end
Yeah bcs ur boring.

As someone who went to oaks park about a week before this happened I feel so lucky this didn’t happen to me
I’m getting anxiety from watching this video. I couldn’t imagine being any of them 😢Glad everyone is okay! ❤
This is why I do upside down training on my inversion table. Actually no, it’s not why I do it, but at least I’ll be prepared if I ever get stuck upside down somewhere.
I hope everyone fully recovers from this. I can't even imagine. I almost had a panic attack just watching the video! Stick to the carousels people.
For those not understanding trauma - it's not so much a conscious fear, but an automatic response your body learned because you experienced a stressful/dangerous feeling. It's a mechanism to aid in survival, but the modern world doesn't exactly mirror the natural world - so a fear of roller coasters in exchange for the symptoms experienced post trauma is just a bad trade off, because it's not keeping you safer (at least not enough to warrant the severity of the newly acquired fear/symptoms). When he says he closes his eyes and he feels upside down - that's the automatic response, and it's outside of his control, which can be frustrating and, at times, terrifying.
For everyone saying "I wouldn't be traumatized", what you are really saying is your body/brain wouldn't have created the connection/fear. Ultimately, that means you're a less viable human, because proper fear response is vital to survival. If your fear response is blunted, as you claim, you are likely making bad life decisions regularly.
Feeling sorry for their kids. Doesn't matter how young or healthy. That's a no go right there.
I can't believe these carnival style flat rides don't have redundant safety systems to deal with power outages, it's ridiculous that a power outage can strand people in such a precarious position and as an enthusiast myself, I am willing to admit that these types of rides need to be BANNES unless a system can be designed to flat out prevent this from happening. Being stuck on a coaster lift hill or block brake is an entirely different thing.
You would think rides would have a contraption to help prevent this… since we ALL have wondered what happens if it gets stuck. Where was the common sense? I hope they get sued to the ground. Let this be a lesson.
they heard the park closing announcement while they were up there. they probably thought they were about to tip forward bruh
That's scary!
Say goodbye to oaks Park. They're about to be litigated out of existence.
You must be new here
@@captdaddy Lived here all my life
@@Larsenne oaks Park is owned by millionaires dude... They ain't going anywhere
@@captdaddy Just because the company is owned by a millionaire doesn't mean it won't be forced into bankruptcy. The individual and the business are separate and need to be thought of as separate entities.
Foreal😂
They all need to sue!! These people def suffered and very well could’ve died. Why is there no backup generator or manual safety measures? It would not take much force to offset the ride just enough to bring it out of its inversion. There should be a protocol for this.
Imagine a kid was super scared to go on that ride but finally tall enough and went on it for the first time and just got stuck up there... Yeah nope
You don’t survive long while suspended upside down. There’s not a single thing wrong with being scared or needing to act tough lmao the internet is great to see people preoject
Glad everyone is ok.
This gave me anxiety I don’t mess with rides all them need to sue
Stay strong bro . Wishing u the best
in all or at least some types of truck driving, drivers are supposed to do a pre-trip inspection of the truck before starting on the road. maybe the ride should be inspected before every run or like every 5-10 ride runs. or maybe every 10-30 or 60 minutes or something? but that would or might "slow down production" though.
Man that must of sucked big time, glad everyone is OK, wish there was a way to manually fix that issue on the spot if that makes any sense
I only do Bumper Cars at these parks!
I learned long ago, those rides and I, aren’t friends.
The same ride is at a permanent amusement park in my city, and the same thing happened the year it opened. This is a common issue with this ride.
Interesting
When I was younger I would have been very excited to go on rollercoasters. But now I’m scared to death of them because I’m afraid something would be wrong and I would die or be stuck! 😮 😢
I’ve never liked roller coasters myself. To me they aren’t safe.
Same. Hate when my kids go on rides at the fair.
I personally would never trust any rides at a fair or anything like that. On the other hand, I don't think all rides should be labeled as scary or unsafe. Heck, I will ride scariest of the thrill rides as long as it is in a place I can trust. number say going down stairs is more lethal than these ride. These types of situations are very sad and I really glad they are still with us, but we need to realize that 99.99% of rides are reaaalllllyy safe.
Being up there not bad, just being stuck upside down very discomforting.
Oh dang! I literally just thought those were his freckles. 😬 I hope he gets professional help and find the healing he needs in Jesus name.
Well at least this station didn’t turn off comments. This is something that can cause issues in individuals. How horrible.
So happy they are doing well!
I gave up amusement parks years ago. This is horrible. 😢🤯
I would prob die of an anxiety attack
This is just a terrible thing. Don’t know if I’ll ever trust this ride. Hope all the parents and kids thst were stuck are ok
Terrifying to be possibly staring at your death for 30 minutes smh 😣
This will be the most insane experience of these gen zr's lives... Still be talking about this when they're 45 years old in plaid pajama pants drinking a vegan beer
As one of the people stuck on the ride who knew hazen and Lilly personally this is true.
GET MY KID GUYS THE PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD GET MY KIDDD GUYS USE YOUR CHEST GUYS
It happened to me and my cousin upside down on a roller coaster over a decade ago. It was for 45 minutes. The adults sang kids songs to keep them calm. A fire fighter let parents give kids messages through the walkie talkie. It was scary but everyone was checked medically and fine. That's life 🤷♀️
What coaster was it?
@@sadsbarn I can't remember the name of the coaster but it was Six Flags in MD.
@@Anne_Onymous Doesn’t surprise me, six flags and their incidents. 😭
This is why I never ride rides
Hazen said it's a WHOLE WRAP on me riding rides EVEN AGAIN...He was VERY SERIOUS bout that...😑
I am definitely empathetic to the situation that these people had to endure. But this kid has definitely said all of the right things for a successful lawsuit. It's almost as if he has been coached. I wonder if one of his parents is a lawyer. He's definitely an intelligent young man with a great vocabulary nonetheless.
Yes. A parent is suing. Opportuniests. If the kid is *traumatized* they need therapy...not to sue oaks park. 💰💰
@@_diet_cokeI disagree. Therapy costs money and they shouldn’t be finically responsible for that.
Wow so despicable I pray for all of you and the trauma u endured
It’s the amusement parks fault because if the people were still stuck upside down for longer, than they could die because blood could rush to ur brain and it’s not good…
It can cause cardiac arrest too. (Hangingvupside down) People died like that many times.
That is why I don't get on these types of rides.
How many law suits? The park was at fault as the ride operator! Their going to get dozens of law suits!
Don't take unnecessary risk
💯
ive been to oaks park but i have never seen that ride go in that position.
Can they sue
Imagine the people that werr stuck on another ride upside down for 4 hours!
Bless his heart
That would be so horrific. I dont want to know
NAH THIS IS WHY I HAVE COASTERPHOBIA
This is why I never have road any rides since I was kid
My cousin was there at that time, luckily she didn’t go on it that time
Well atleast we know now our bodies can take about a half hour of being upside down like that! You probably shouldn't go a Hour like that!
That’s dangerous but also I haven’t been since like 2011 when I was 5
I live in Tulsa and was at bells when the wildcat rollercoaster took flight…scary that we just think all rides are safe?
New rule....im never getting on a ride that takes me upside down anymore. Nope. Sh*t happens, and indont need it happening with me on it.
Blood vessels popped in his face????? Oh no😢
Lol. Even the anchor is laughing.
sue them
Dumb. Never get on that crap.
He stuck for 30 minutes, his hair was messed up.
“Ah yes this may be precarious”
Jesus, did these kids get coached by the attorneys a bit much?
What do you think happens when you hang upside down for 20 min? I expected worse. So, I don’t see evidence of coaching. I’m sure you’re an expert in judgmental, so I’m sure you know best.
'Cha-ching' moment..Lawyers drooling over easy win.
These people chose to ride at their own risk.
That’s not how that works lol. They won’t get money, they’ll just get tickets thats it and they’re not even entitled to that
Maintenance not a priority. Marginal employees. Two reasons I won’t trust these places with my safety.
Ride at ur own risk
Glad hes ok, but something tells me a lawyer told him hes traumatized.
I’m sure it’s nothing a doctor….i mean lawyer can’t fix…
They might as well close the ride and take it down for good. No one will wanna chance it after that experience
Worst thing was talking to fox12
Terrifying.
He needs to calm down
KAY IF IT'S PRESENT DAY IT MEANS WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET UP THERE AND IF IT'S IN THE PAST WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE THE PEN GUYS ASAP
Lawsuits galore
I was on the ride too, pay me
traumatized?? Seriously???
What did he say 1:06 ? I’m sure it’s just like a what? Faulter?
I actually thought he had freckles
I was bout to go on that ride Fr😭😭😭
Deduced😂
Their was a mechanical issue that occurred 360 mode. The operator and everyone did a great job at helping keep everyone calm. Rides malfunction everyday. These rides are looked at and inspected daily. I was once stuck on a looped to loop upside down for an hour, same malfunction as this ride.
