I can't even imagine. Just the thought of trying to sleep that night, drifting off for two seconds and forgetting he's gone, then waking up and remembering what happened.
I've had that feeling as a little kid. One night We took my baby sister to a hospital. She was suffering from bronchitis. She was crying while we were leaving through out the hospital. I was silent for the rest of that night. I was relieved to see her again about a week later when I came home from school
That was a good man that shielded the mother from viewing the scene. I'm sure if she'd come closer she would've seen images that would forever haunt her.
No. I would be PISSED. As horrible as the sight is, I will never process or get over it or be able to accept such a thing if I don’t see it with my own eyes. If he physically stopped me I would do my best to try to get through even if it means starting a fight.
@@lizleonhart552 he didn't know that obviously, he thought seeing it would be more traumatic for her. you can always get past him, but I still say it was good of him to try to stop her.
I've never understood why it's considered "good" to shield people from seeing their loved ones one last time, whatever torn up or bloody state they're in. Otherwise, how could one confirm and accept the truth of what happened and get any closure? How would one know the "protective" person wasn't lying? Not knowing for sure, not confirming it myself, not being allowed to say goodbye, is what would haunt me forever. I'd be stuck in a cloud of ignorance and uncertainty because someone else took it upon themselves to withhold critical information after assuming I was too weak and stupid to process it. That's incredibly insulting, imo, and not "good of them" at all.
The blood on the slide is what gets me. Imagine watching this, and seeing a rush of blood wash down with the water. I hope that everyone who witnessed this is having therapy.
For a couple of years after this happened before they finally tore it down when you drove by on 435 highway, you could still see blood stains. My kids couldn't even look over that direction nor could I. Horrible
praying is such a stupid pointless thing to say. pray for them before he died? he still dies tragically from this. what does praying do? its stupid and pointless.
The woman riding behind the little boy broke her jaw because his decapitated head hit her in the jaw, I can just imagine his head rolling amongst the ride whilst the people behind stared at his headless body, they need therapy.
His safety belt broke and he was flung from the raft when he died, but he was flung neck first into the bars in the safety netting so he was decapitated. He would've died instantly, spending his last moments of life having the most fun a ten year old could possibly have with his older brother
I read the entire story about the family who owned the park, the man who designed the ride and the fateful day of the accident. My heart just broke. Totally broke. Needless to say, the man who designed it went into a deep depression as well.
Ashley Martinez how do you know that? It was said only his brother was with him. His brother ran to find his mother. Than the dad was found. As he ran up he asked if his son was dead. The ride was suppose to hold a certain weight as well. Which no Caleb wouldn’t have met. Just pray for his brother who witnessed such a horrible, horrific moment. Pray for this family. Nothing else matters at this point!
Mhm Mhm, they are stating the truth. The father was told that the son was too small to go on the ride. He basically threw his weight around and they finally let the boy go on the ride. Now the father is suing because he yelled at them and used his position as legislator o allow the or force them to break the rules and make an exception for his son. If the father did not think that he should be allowed to break the rules just because of his job status his son would still be alive. They first rejected him. He came down crying and the father made a big stink and they were forced to let the boy go on the rides. Now the father sued for the death he caused.
Justrowsing71. If the father practically forced them to make an exception for his son then it does matter. No should be benefit financially from practically forcing them to make an exception just for his son.
Laura nasewytewa if I was the person working that slide I would not have let Celeb on that ride. I don’t care who his dad is or anything else because it’s about safety. I dealt with people throwing their weight around trying to get their way and that never override my judgment. I can only imagine how guilty the person working the slide must be feeling about letting this little boy on this slide that took his life shortly thereafter.
Potato Lord I don’t think that his seat was completely empty. He was decapitated. It must’ve been an awful gruesome sight. For everyone involved but especially his brother
First rule of thumb:: If you have to sign an insurance waiver before you get on the ride, Don’t even think of getting on it period. Run for the hills!!!!
I agree with you in this situation. That said, these days you have to sign waivers for kids to do ANYTHING. Here’s a list of places/activities I’ve had to sign waivers for my son within the past year: indoor trampoline park, Fri night open gym for teens, a soccer tournament & most recently, when I dropped him off @ the skating rink I had to sign a waiver saying I wouldn’t sue if he got hurt while skating. Problem is there are way too many frivolous lawsuits so waivers have become the norm. But this situation was different IMO. I don’t blame the parents but personally I wouldn’t have allowed my son on the ride.
I'm not particularly the religious type, but I hope that there is a loving afterlife with tons of love because some people just don't get a fair shake in this life. RIP Caleb. I hope there is a loving afterlife where you're getting plenty of hugs.
Very sad..i would not let my boys get on that. Sounds crazy but my anxiety is to much, that I'm very fearful of a lot ppl & things. This makes me a little nauseous. 😔

I CANNOT even imagine. Absolutely traumatizing. Especially for a CHILD! I mean he was right behind him. I believe they said he got blood all over him as well. This is just heartbreaking.
dew- pie His brother was actually at the bottom of the slide and saw the body slide down the rest of the way. Equally traumatizing. Apparently one of the women behind Caleb had a broken jaw and an “eye injury” (either from his head or his body hitting her) and I think I read that they’re both in therapy. All around it was a horrible gruesome situation. I feel bad for everyone involved.
Olivia Jean Hurd this family is in my prayers, I'm so so sorry they loss their baby boy because of other careless, greedy, selfish and ignorant individuals. No child should go through what Caleb did..God bless this family...my heart aches for them😢
Tiara Everyday I'm not sure how you got your assessment from this video. Perhaps, this child should not have been allowed to ride based on his size. However, nothing in the report suggests that carelessness, greed, selfishness, or ignorance played a part in the accident that took this child's life.
Watching this video makes my heart literally ache. My son just turned 11, and as a mother, I really don't know how you recover from something like this. The pain... the guilt... unimaginable. Stories like this are why I nearly have panic attacks every time my son rides a thrill ride. Two years ago, he was finally tall enough to ride a giant drop tower at a park near our house. He insisted on riding it with his dad. The entire time they rode to the top, I was sobbing on the ground. I told my husband to hold onto his arm and not let go no matter what. I just envisioned him slipping out of his seat. It's an all around terrible feeling, and my heart breaks for these parents.
Only if they are told. He rode in the front and two women in the back. This lead to the raft lifting up. Did the workers get trained about weight distribution? It should have had an upstop mechanism. Roller coasters have that in place and this slide went faster than a roller coaster.
crazy to think this kid would be 15 right now. rest in peace kiddo. my heart goes out to family and friends of the boy, i hope they’re all doing alright. ❤️
Crazy, how he would probably be old enough now to be experiencing being called toxic and privileged by feminists on tiktok. You know, the normal stuff boys see today 😔
exactly. they think if they read you the liability thing and you still choose to ride, then it’s your fault but they should not be allowed to make a ride that dangerous where they need a disclaimer. same thing with that haunted house that tortures it’s guests. this is why i think it should actually be illegal to have a liability disclaimer; if you think that you could be putting another person in danger in any way, don’t build the ride or whatever. that simple. and if i get hurt because of the idiots who built the ride or because the idiot lifeguards weren’t doing their job, then i should be able to sue.
God bless your kids i agree BUT did you know in any medical surgeries they FORCE people to sign papers otherwise they dont even give medical help? You may not choice to do something for fun but health is priority
And besides paying the family I think they really got away with it. Criminal charges were brought and then dismissed. The ride never should have opened.
Yeah, all they seemed to care about was how the slide looked. Whoever thought it was a good idea to use metal netting, and velcro straps on a very steep waterslide doesn't give a fuck about safety.
I remember watching them build this giant slide. I used to pass it all the time. The whooshing sound of people going down could be heard from the road. My heart broke when I heard what happened to that poor family. It confirmed what I'd always thought: that it was too dangerous and a waste of money. The entire park has since been completely torn down.
exactly! they needed at least a full tube. the metal netting is a literal human cheese grater. sure the kid would’ve still gotten hurt from the full tube, but he wouldn’t have died.
That video of Caleb dancing with his baby brother was so sweet. Rest in peace sweet little man! And God grant his family strength throughout the rest of their days. I don't even want to imagine the horror these parents and the older brother as a witness have been trying to cope with.
Same here, I'm not too close, half an hour back maybe, but this accident really messed with people, if you're talking about the one in KS then I believe they tore it down fairly recently, in the last year or so. But not to be gross or anything, but on the slide you could see a red spot from where I always passed by. Maybe it was rust (honestly wouldn't be in disbelief if it was), but I'm just glad they tore it down.
I live about 45 minutes from the park. My family used to go every year until the accident happened. We don’t go anymore. It was a huge shock to everyone.
it's so stupid that bc of this waterslide he died, he had a very long and i bet good life ahead. he was a loving and happy kid! it's just so weird nd sad how things are just fine and when you least know everythinh changes. God bless the family :( Caleb is an angel now.
His seat straps failed to hold him down when the ride reached the top and he his body flew up out of the seat enough for him to get decapitated by the metal rings around the top of the ride. His older brother saw it happen.
We never know who will be here with us tomorrow or who wouldn't . Appreciate this moment now. Do our best to cherish every min and do good to those who cross our path, let our loved ones know we love them. We may not have the chance tomorrow. (Some might not like what I say next) but I know Caleb is with God now and those of us who believe will see him in heaven when our turn comes. He will be right there waiting to greet his loved ones.
Seeing those videos of him playing and being so innocent makes me very emotional . As a mom , this is my worst nightmare. Outliving your children has to be the hardest task in this world .
Dont ever say that. Money will never replace a child. No matter how much money i could be given i would never give up my little sis (i don't have children this is the closest comparison because i acted more as a mother to her when our mother got incredibly sick for a few years) Family and people will stick with you forever. Memories and bonds aren't lost even if you aren't on good terms anymore. Even people i used to hate are important to me. Money is spent. It doesn't hold the same emotional value as a person. If i was in this family's position and i heard you say that to me i would get so pissed. Be a little more aware of others.

Alex Jay no it was the math/ physics on the ride, it was wrong from start hence why they added netting and seatbelts bc the raft in the testing kept going airborne.

Siillaarriel, I hate to break it to you, but the slide still stands. I can say with 100% certainly, as of 2/13/2018, they have not taken it down or made an attempt to take it down yet. I can say that because I just drove by it 30 minutes ago. So, unless you live in Kansas City, KS or any neighboring city where it’s citizens drive on the I-435 highway on a daily biases, don’t go stating false facts. Just because they said so in the video, doesn’t make it true. Sheesh. 😒
I should also clarify that I know that they plan to take it down after pending investigation, but with it taking so long I wish they could at least try to show some effort of keeping it from public eye.
MetalLovingLady92, I haven’t been to the park since it first opened, but I hear the slide is closed and the park is still open. I have also heard that, despite it being closed, it is still very visible to anyone who goes to the park. Also, and this is just rumor, but I heard you can still see where the accident took place from inside the park? - as in it wasn’t cleaned and, if so, not very well. Like I said, I haven’t been in a while, so I don’t know if that is true... Maybe I’ll go once it opens to find out.

I don't trust water slides or any kind of fair rides anymore because I was riding on a water slide one time and the current of it flipped my body and I landed head first into the pool. Pool attendants came over to help me out of the pool because I was dazed. Luckily I wasn't injured but it scared me so much that anytime I see a water slide my heart pounds. Rip to this little boy.
It seems water rides are the most dangerous. Rollecoasters however are quite safe as most of them have censors that stop the ride from operating if they sense something is wrong. The ride operators can't override it either. It think this happens on other rides too. I think the reason water rides are so dangerous is because they don't tend to have safety restraints and if they do, they're quite weak. Chances of you getting injured on a coaster are even smaller than that of a plane
coderedgonebadd the reason the boy was thrown off was bc of poor weight distribution. There were two older and much heavier men on the ride with Caleb. And they put Caleb in the front. If Caleb had been in the middle, he probably wouldn't have died. It is definitely the workers fault for not fixing that before they went down.
I lost my daughter to cancer when she was 6, I knew it was coming. I had time to work it out as best I could in my mind...I had time to 'prepare'. I cried for this family, because they went to have fun, and violently lost their beautiful son.... just out of the blue, no chance to see him or say goodbye. Thanks be to the Merciful One of heaven that there was only one person per raft and the boys hadn't ridden together 😥
Hadassah Yael He was actually with two other people, unrelated to him. They think that the weight was off. You need a certain amount of weight for the raft.
I would be traumatized for life if I witnessed a stranger die this way, but to see it happen to one of my own siblings would likely drive me to near insanity, perhaps even suicide.
When I saw the video of his little brother holding on to him while he danced, I started tearing up.. the baby was just holding on so cute and so tight, and he will never get to experience that on earth with his brother ever again..
@@amelie3610 I don't think that's true... Because when I rode the ride when I was 9, I rode it just two weeks before him, and what was crazy was that one of my Velcro straps came undone.... Luckily for me they had to stop the ride because me and my father were under the weight limit

LittleLulubee it was super dangerous from its inception. They had so many problems with crash test dummies flying off while building it and then testing it, they never should've been ok'd to open it. This kid was too small and young even be on it. He was decapitated. 😞
It’s insane how life can just flip on a dime like that. It’s stories like this that creep into my mind when I’m thinking way too much of what could possibly happen to my family or my kids. My mom had kept saying someone would die on this ride and sure enough, this young boy did and it is sad.. RIP to Caleb. I would've never let him ride this, no matter how "safe" it is.
Blaming the parents of the victim makes you trash. Judgemental twat. And that goes for the 117 mental midgets who liked your comment. Wrap your crotch fruit in bubble wrap and shelter them so they grow up to be chicken shits
I saw a different, more in depth video about this. It was a weight distribution problem. Caleb was on this ride with two women, grown women, meaning a heavier weight from them. If memory serves and please correct me if I’m wrong or remembered incorrectly, but Caleb was seated in the front with the heavier adult weight in the seats behind him. This lighter weight up front is what caused the raft to go airborne at the area where the incident occurred. Had he been in the middle, he might have survived, it has been suggested. This should not have happened. I know, especially kids love these thrill rides but dammit, test them to the breaking point with every engineering aspect before you let the public on it ~ it’s just uncalled for when an innocent child dies. RIP Sweetie. ❤️
i did a small water ride with my older sister years ago and she was seated in the back.. maybe this wasnt about the weight but that ride had something wrong
I heard opposite argument. 20 years ago I went to Aventura Park in Spain. I had a ride on a triple seat slide. I was the the lightest one. So they seated me in front, my 2 girlfriends of a much heavier weight were placed behind me. Due to safety reasons.
I was a slide attendant and lifeguard for a year at a major waterpark and can already tell you that it was the carelessness of the attendant at the top of the ride. There is a minimum weight limit for every ride and these kids should not have been sent down that slide. I was almost thrown out of a body slide in high school and I weighed 150Lbs. It's a shame that a lot of lifeguards and slide attendants do not take their jobs seriously in the slightest.
The park should have done better training in explaining the consequences and maybe had multiple life guards so they can help correct each other. I think they just hire teens, pay them minimum wage, and don’t really care to give more training then is legally required (which is barley anything.) the lifeguard probably was also a kid and thought it was nice to allow a smaller kid on since the kid would be excited. Barley trained kids shouldn’t be in charge of lives or safety. That’s something that parks need to stop doing
I could tell how sweet and precious Caleb was just by watching the way he held and danced with his lil' brother how many big brothers do what he did he rocked him side to side and dipped and spun around it was so sweet to see, it must have been so soothing for his baby brother and such a wonderful way to remember him and have on video! Bless his brother that was with him that day and all his family and friends!
Lots and lots of money. I’m sure they settled for millions. I’m sure they are still heartbroken but they might have got like $20 million for all we know. It’s messed up and I believe they would rather have their son, but to be honest, I think it’s incredibly stupid that anyone goes on these rides. I’m almost 30 and I’ve never felt safe going on any of these extreme rides. I’ve done some roller coasters but nothing to crazy. There are inherent risks with these rides. People need to use their head and way risks vs rewards better. And I do take my own advice. What’s worth more? A crazy day at a theme park or having your whole family alive? Obviously hindsight is 2020 but seriously, I don’t know how people don’t look at that ride and feel nauseous. It clearly just looks unsafe and completely unecessary. It’s designed to be extreme and the more you push the boundaries, the greater the risk. It’s sad the kid died but 99.9999% of people who rode that ride didn’t get injured. Obviously the park should be responsible for the tragedy but my point is: don’t be an idiot - you’re 100-300 lbs of biological matter that is incredibly vulnerable. Riding these extremely high, metal rides is not smart and you’re putting your life in the hands of engineers that you do not know. I think I’ve made my point. Simply understand that just because something is at a theme park, mall, in the government, etc. doesn’t mean it’s inherently safe or flawless. Take appropriate risks and you won’t end up dead. Sad story but the best people can do is learn from it. Unfortunately, most wont.
People, it was an internal decapitation: his head bent back so hard and so far that it detached from the spine, but it did not get cut off. (It is still very sad, but not as graphic as you are picturing.) Rest in peace to Caleb.
Thanks for explaining. I was so confused as to how a little bit of wiring could have cut his whole head off 🤢 such a horrific tragedy. My heart goes out to this family and especially the little boy who saw what happened. Tragic.
@@rainorshine2060 Decapitation does not necessarily mean the head is removed from the body, it was an INTERNAL Decapitation, which means his spine disconnected from his head, the skin never broke, so his head was being held to his body by skin and provably muscle aswell, the blood was from the lacerations on his face and injury’s caused by high impact against the metal bar& wire.
Im crying right now, he seemed like such a nice boy and he went there thatt day to have fun, and this happened, its too much for me. I really do hope that family is okay
I think the park was very, very negligent. They should check the slide every day to make sure it works. Like at Disney the do test runs very frequently. That’s why I feel it’s safer there.
No, test runs would make no difference. The overall design was flawed and they knew if conditions were just right, the boat would fly off the slide. Shame on them for putting netting where they did so that riders could get decapitated. So dumb and so negligent and so naive of parents to trust such things.
@Cindy Frazier all rides have a safety matter that's why they are called thrill rides. They try to make them as sags as possible with the greatest thrill/fear factor. Height & weight requirements are necessary evil but not all people would buy it was a very tragic accident that could have been avoided how people followed all the safety measures or the ride wasn't open because its safety measures were not met it's still all rides have a degree of unsafe tennis that's what makes them fun for Thrill Seekers
Dude. Disneyland is getting pretty shitty too though. I was there last year and every ride we got on kept breaking down. Do you know how many rides daily get closed off becAuse they break down?
It's basically there to prevent you from getting thrown completely off the ride, in a sense going over the slide's ledge. The rings or bars are there to hold it in place. Sadly because the ride was going so fast, combined with the fact that they didn't weigh enough combined or the weight was not distributed evenly, the force caused Caleb to be thrown and he hit one of the bars, decapitating him. The other riders were also hurt, I believe one of them was hit in the jaw by his head, breaking her jaw. The whole thing is tragic and should have never happened.
Ashley Miller What??? I knew the other two were injured but I never heard anything about the specifics. That's horrific! So many unfathomable aspects to this tragedy!
PepeSylvia I am amazed the ride was running. Amazed. So many violations and previous incidents, and yet, the average park visitor is led to assume it is absolutely safe. My heart goes out to the families involved.
This story isnt a lie me and my cousin was on the cyclone its a ride that spins in and out i had to fold the bar down when the lock didnt lock the bar down mid ride
They add netting instead of making the second hump higher to reduce the rate of speed??? I took three years of engineering in high school and even I know that second hump was too low.
That’s actually the huge problem with this. The main person that designed this water slide didn’t have any kind of engineering degree. Yet he was still able to be hired and design an obviously unsafe ride that was somehow approved and built. We talked about this is my engineering class
The 2 people who designed this were the Henry owners, I just finished reading the entire 47 page grand jury indictment. And that's correct neither had any formal engineering education whatsoever. But that's not a requirement in Kansas law either.
You're an idiot. Yes there is a thing as too safe, however not allowing small young children to go on potentially deadly/dangerous rides while they are far too young or small to be on them won't be "taking" something away from them, it will prevent them from breaking their necks or becoming decapitated.
Years later and I still cannot fathom leaving for a fun treat trip and you leave with 4 boys and come back with 3. You're looking in the rear view mirror and where you saw 4, there are now 3.
Ashley Martinez What are you talking about? The parents didn’t go up the ride. It was him, and his brother

First rule of thumb:: If you have to sign an insurance waiver before you get on the ride, Don’t even think of getting on it period. Run for the hills!!!!
I don’t go on huge water slides, things that go upside down, anything that requires a waiver to sign and anything that’s spins very fast.
Agreed! If there's a chance then HECK NO
I agree with you in this situation.
I disagree personally. Live your life taking the risks you are willing to take though.
If that was true you’d never get on a boat, raft, etc

I would never let my kids go on that kind of ride, ever. If they are reading a liability disclaimer at the top, that's a red flag.
I'm sitting here praying my 3 grown children don't
exactly. they think if they read you the liability thing and you still choose to ride, then it’s your fault but they should not be allowed to make a ride that dangerous where they need a disclaimer. same thing with that haunted house that tortures it’s guests. this is why i think it should actually be illegal to have a liability disclaimer; if you think that you could be putting another person in danger in any way, don’t build the ride or whatever. that simple. and if i get hurt because of the idiots who built the ride or because the idiot lifeguards weren’t doing their job, then i should be able to sue.

Triggered Person There's nothing to sue them on. I wasn't injured.
Anastasia I agree with you. I avoid them now too.

@@amelie3610 I don't think that's true... Because when I rode the ride when I was 9, I rode it just two weeks before him, and what was crazy was that one of my Velcro straps came undone.... Luckily for me they had to stop the ride because me and my father were under the weight limit
@@jen5138 So should the parents, total neglect. The father seems very odd, no real emotion. Poor little boy, he's in heaven now and in peace. Thank God for that!
Honestly, it looks super dangerous
I think for anyone it's super dangerous let alone a kid.
LittleLulubee it was super dangerous from its inception. They had so many problems with crash test dummies flying off while building it and then testing it, they never should've been ok'd to open it. This kid was too small and young even be on it. He was decapitated. 😞
No wonder they wouldn't let the parents see him. Wow!
LittleLulubee it *looks* super dangerous, don’t worry, on any ride, there is a 1 in 300 million chance of death.
LittleLulubee ikr I feel the should not have that ride
It’s insane how life can just flip on a dime like that. It’s stories like this that creep into my mind when I’m thinking way too much of what could possibly happen to my family or my kids. I can’t imagine the heartbreak, the trauma, I truly can’t imagine. You can only pray to whatever god might be out there that something like this never happens to you or anyone you love. May Caleb Shwab Rest In Peace, and I wish the best for his family.
heartbreaking :'(
My mom had kept saying someone would die on this ride and sure enough, this young boy did and it is sad..

Aww. The dumb fuck is a juvenile delinquent gamer, how cute.
Now you story makes more sense
@@pezmoni6053 it said one woman was 297lbs and the other was like 195 or something.
There were already complaints about the ride before.
i did a small water ride with my older sister years ago and she was seated in the back.. maybe this wasnt about the weight but that ride had something wrong
I heard opposite argument. 20 years ago I went to Aventura Park in Spain. I had a ride on a triple seat slide. I was the the lightest one. So they seated me in front, my 2 girlfriends of a much heavier weight were placed behind me. Due to safety reasons.
His parents are amazing. If that situation happened in my family, I wouldn't be able to talk about it.
I cannot imagine their pain. Saddest thing ever.
Two page liability agreement to get on a ride. 🤦🏽♀️
Cause someone died on it. Does it still sound safe to you?
A red flag. I am not so certain the park can enforce that liability waiver with a minor child though.
Paris Wolf minors cannot legally grant waivers. The parents, however, can and must have done so. Very sad
i know right! I’d rather not
LuxembourgXHungary That was prior to the death wise guy.
I read, don’t know if true, that the boy got denied, ran down the ride crying, and the father made a scene and they eventually let him go down
@@Gmoney00718 father looks an oddball.
I agree the attendants as with the case from yesterday with Tyre Sampson..I think it’s time that the Federal Government Regulates these theme parks!
Here we go folks, info from the insider
This really hurts my heart and soul….I can’t even imagine…I really hope their family has a future full of nothing but peace. Bless their hearts.
That was a pure sweet moment 🤍🥺what a lovely boy he was😭😭😭
Reading this and listening to the video almost makes me cry.
The baseball team at Caleb's funeral got me. I don't know how these poor parents go on. I really don't. May he rest in peace 💔
With Jesus you can make it through anything
@In Da Cut Media This was man made, not God made. Can't blame everything on God.
Tragic.
So where did the blood come from?
No it wasn’t. He flew up and the wire netting cut his head off. That’s why there was blood everywhere
Source? Wikipedia just states it was a decapitation
Im crying right now, he seemed like such a nice boy and he went there thatt day to have fun, and this happened, its too much for me. I really do hope that family is okay

@@angelicadeleon5391 he might not have any belief
If the waterpark chooses "safety" as a top priority it never would have built that ride in the first place
It was safe if you met the weight limit, which they didnt
I think the park was very, very negligent. They should check the slide every day to make sure it works. Like at Disney the do test runs very frequently. That’s why I feel it’s safer there.
Yeah theres no way the park wouldn't do that! They deserve a painful death
They are all Zionist in the same get rich at all cost game.

I don't get how the safety nets are safe if people keep getting injured
It's basically there to prevent you from getting thrown completely off the ride, in a sense going over the slide's ledge. The rings or bars are there to hold it in place. Sadly because the ride was going so fast, combined with the fact that they didn't weigh enough combined or the weight was not distributed evenly, the force caused Caleb to be thrown and he hit one of the bars, decapitating him. The other riders were also hurt, I believe one of them was hit in the jaw by his head, breaking her jaw. The whole thing is tragic and should have never happened.
Sleepy Birdy- That isn't true. Others were injured on the slide before Caleb rode it. They just fortunately weren't killed.
Ashley Miller What??? I knew the other two were injured but I never heard anything about the specifics. That's horrific! So many unfathomable aspects to this tragedy!
Christian Warrior Academy yea somebody broke their foot on it once and then there have been minor injuries
PepeSylvia I am amazed the ride was running. Amazed. So many violations and previous incidents, and yet, the average park visitor is led to assume it is absolutely safe. My heart goes out to the families involved.

They add netting instead of making the second hump higher to reduce the rate of speed??? I took three years of engineering in high school and even I know that second hump was too low.
I pray that Nathan is getting the counseling he needs to be okay after seeing his brother that way🙏🏽
what the hell y'all teaching these kids in these engineering colleges?
@Lady Day Because of the nature of my discipline I took several engineering classes and even i know.. this.. was a MAJOR fail..
That’s actually the huge problem with this. The main person that designed this water slide didn’t have any kind of engineering degree. Yet he was still able to be hired and design an obviously unsafe ride that was somehow approved and built. We talked about this is my engineering class
@@MacyIntheMiddle Jesus Christ! Talk about nepotism !
