Good job firefighters!!!
It's a shame you don't hear anybody anymore saying thank GOD. nothing happened to me or anyone else wow this goes to show that we are living in the last days and many people has fallen away from GOD. I pray for those people who don't know GOD. to seek Jesus'Christ now and repent of there sins and secret lifestyle's Jesus'Christ is Lord. Of lords and king of kings hallelujah praise GOD. Amen. Jesus'Christ is Lord. ✝️🙏❤️🙏✝️
Will saying that get you off a stuck carnival ride unharmed?
In reality the people who identify as Christian aren’t very benevolent anymore. People are being Pushed away from Christianity
Chanting to universe?
Be careful...
Get to Church .but vet the church
That certainly had to be pretty terrifying. The good news is the over the shoulder restraints kept the riders in place.
Yeah but it’s dangerous to be in the upside down position for periods of time
It’s not the upside down part that is so terrifying. It’s the upside down while dangling 100 feet up in the air thats excruciatingly frightening. 15 minutes for the fire truck to arrive? Thats like taking 3 business days when you have dozens of people hanging upside down on a malfunctioned amusement park ride.
If they had to get the truck to the ride itself then that’s probably why it took so long. Especially if it’s a large park then you’ll need someone to guide you to where the accident is. It’s still very scary that it took that long though.
3 days? LOL, stop exaggerating with such silly statements.
Imagine being stuck up there and having to go to the bathroom And you have an accident
What went wrong? What went right was the momentum of physics went perfectly well for balancing.
Where is the video of the actual rescue???
Not going to see one since the park announced they were closing the park and told all visitors to leave ASAP.
the good news is these people definitely re-evaluated their lives while up there, must have been hell, especially for the older folks, painful, shout out to the firefighters!
They had an interview and that's exactly what happened. This group will stay in touch forever now.
@@TheCommunicationCoach people spend a LOT of time and money to get what they got from that experience, not that I'm interested in riding on this ride
Refunds? They're gonna get sued for sure
You assume a certain amount of risk riding these things.
Mazel tov
It happened once i will happen again
"They weren't fine."
This is not the first time one of their rides malfunctioned. Thank goodness no one was seriously injured or died.
I agree!
When else did their rides malfunction?
@@someperson4712 It was way back in the early 80's, their Ferris wheel got stuck and tilted to the side. People were stuck on it for about 30-45 minutes. The fire department came and got everyone down. Thankfully no one was hurt. They shut the ride down while they "repaired" it then brought in a different Ferris wheel. I was there with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins when it happened. Sadly you won't find any news stories about it, it didn't even make it onto our local news. I have heard of other issues there but the Ferris wheel incident is the one I was there for.

True but a couple of people got ptsd I think as I heard they got a traumatic experience
I used to be a ride operator, my only idea as to how it happened is that either the power got cut or the emergency stop was activated at the perfect and worst time possible, but the actual root of this weird behavior would have to boil down to ride maintenance. I’m surprised that gravity didn’t tilt the arm back into the correct position, so something was forcing the arm to be stuck that way. Anyways, I’m glad that everyone made it out ok. The human body isn’t built to withstand being upside down for a long period of time, so they all got very lucky.
One reason I never went on rides. Anything can happen at any time.
Can’t be a sis your whole life
You shall not pass.... with that beard
It’s safer to go on roller coasters than this kind of thrill ride
Can someone explain to me how they got down??? Did they need to cherrypick each person or did the ride start working???
Ikr!
I read they manually pushed it down. After it hang out, it eventually stopped and that's when they got out
this is crazyyy i went on this ride last week
So, it's your fault? 😳🙂
@@TheCommunicationCoach lol yes i put a curse on it
they tell what they think are their last words, imagine someone confessing a murder or something like this 😮😅
lmao oh good they got a refund...
2:58 - I mean, the male here may have had some type of actual damage done to his bladder or other area due to this situation.
He literally said that he could not pee and that it hurts.
NOT good.
So yeah, old and broken down… They’re never gonna be able to withstand a blow like this… Because people will definitely sue for sure.
Nobody is sueing the ride inspection was clear that no issues were found and unless there was park negligence found there are no grounds to sue on
@@Carter-nl2
Oh, are you a lawyer?
Because you are SO wrong!!!
@@Stopstaring101 ironic
@Carter-nl2 People can sue property owners for a simple board breaking away in a deck if it causes them to fall. The ride is the park's property and responsibility, thus the lawsuit has ground.
@@Legacy-sw7bv I mean you can sue but it most likely won’t go anywhere unless there is proven to be park negligence
I was on it thank you fire fighters
fr?
How did they get yall down? Did they actually have to manually come get ya?
When did the lawyers show up?????
These parks should all have emergency trained staff with cranes on site to rescue people if there’s a breakdown like this so people dont have to risk their lives and think they’re about to die while they wait.
Like those things that construction uses together the telephone pole or something.
Not even 3 years old?! Wow. I was thinking it was much older.
And screw the refund or raincheck! They aint interested! They were in serious fear for their lives and major compensation is what they need. Note....if the ride malfunctioned...whats to say their seats wouldnt just open up as well. That had to be hella scary. Guess the name AtmosFEAR suits that ride well 😂
their seats wouldn't just open up there are 3 redundant mechanisms to keep the locked
Lawsuit immediately.
MASSIVE lawsuits coming to a court near you! We don't go to Oaks Park as it's old and worn down, and this just confirms our fears.
no lawsuits are coming
Exactly massive lawsuits are coming, not doubts.
Isn’t it the only theme park in Oregon
@@BenMonares only barely, if it truly qualifies at all. It's really old.
Same goes for airplanes. I don't like going on airplanes. I rather drive or take a fast train. I know trains can malfunction as well, but it's better being on the ground than up in the clouds.
in all or at least some types of truck driving, drivers are supposed to do a pre-trip inspection of the truck before starting on the road. maybe the ride should be inspected before every run or like every 5-10 ride runs. or maybe every 10-30 or 60 minutes or something? but that would or might "slow down production" though.
Zamperla’s not having a good year.
Where did her chin go? 😱
Everyone is overworked and under paid. There aren't enough workers, especially after COVID19-77. I don't fly and I definitely wouldn't be riding ish like that. Consume some unhealthy food and drinks, play some games to win prizes and toys and call it a day👌🏽
that carnival ride will claim bankruptsy right was and name change before law suitts..llc protects..
Take them for all they have. This is unacceptable 😤.
Don’t ever ride country music again
Lawsuit for this bastard .
Get themselves some lawyers
Lawsuit
the ride was named the "atmosphere" but it was more like the shatmosphere under that thing when they first realized they were stuck upside down
Actually, the name is atmosFEAR
Those people saying their last words as if they're going to die. I never would have concluded death just from being stuck upside down.
No way that it's as easy as that
Anything can happen, and it's especially terrifying if you don't understand the mechanics of the ride. They were probably worried about restraint failure, ride collapse, sudden swinging, etc. and it sure didn't help that they were likely dealing with head pain and increased strain on their hearts and lungs.
That brings us to the next point: Hanging upside down for long periods of time IS dangerous, and it CAN kill. Blood pools in the brain and lung blood vessels, and the heart has to work much harder to pump blood. This causes pain, delirium, unconsciousness, and eventually death (while most people would need to be upside down for hours, you never know if you have a weakening in a brain blood vessel, creating the conditions for a perfect storm).
Yikes😮
25 mins is nothing, it must of been quite scary tho
Do you know how dangerous is being in an upside down position
