Interview with Nicci Take chaired by Sharena Shiv, King’s Entrepreneurship Lab Associate.
🔹 About the speaker:
Nicci Take is a stand-up comedienne, entrepreneur and self-styled corporate drag queen. She was listed in the Financial Times 100 Leading LGBT+ Executives in 2017 and 2019, and named as a Top 10 inspirational leader at the 2020 National LGBT Awards.
🔹 About King’s Lab and what’s next:
The Lab is a project aimed at equipping students with entrepreneurial skills and support those wishing to explore a career path in innovation, entrepreneurship and business. The year-long extracurricular programme is aimed at students from various degree paths and any subject (from undergrads to postdocs). The programme includes an intensive week-long residential and regular lectures, visiting mentors, entrepreneur-at-residence and more.
Emphasis is put on developing sustainable and ethical projects with a positive social and environmental impact as well as expanding entrepreneurial skills to students outside of the business school. The project is led by two King’s Fellows - Kamiar Mohaddes and Thomas Roulet, alongside student associates (Michaela Kadlecova, Adam Motloch).
