So nice to see I am actually diffusing my hair correctly. Learned from many triall and errors that wavy curls are so much different than diffusing tighter curl patterns. Thanks for this video and you and your hair are gorgeous.
I am OBSESSED with you! I had naturally curly hair when I was younger. But after 1st haircut it went poker straight. My hair will get frizzy after using hair dryer so I've always used a curling iron to fix it. After watching your videos all day for 4 days straight and getting a curl cream from ipsy that I ordered, I tried a couple things on my hair that I saw you do. GURLLLLL I was so frickin shocked and excited at the results! And all I did was scrunch my hair during washing & rinsing, add curl cream oh and a hair lotion and scrunched both products in my hair. I let air dry. My family freaked at the results! I can't wait until I get all my Curl Talk products! I wish I could share pics with you! But you have a lifetime fan & follower with me! God Bless you and yours!
wow! Just followed your steps while diffusing my hair and it turned out beautifully. I’ve never had any success with the diffuser until watching your video. Thanks!
yes!!!!! love these tips thank you so much! i learned that touching and scrunching out the cast before it’s 10000% dry really lessens the definition!! creates more frizz as well
I have very similar hair to yours and the whole time watching this I’m like “same!”. I just always seem to agree with everything you say.. and I’ve never agreed so much with anyone else on their hair goals and stuff. Thanks for making these videos!! So so gorgeous and the most helpful! ❤️
Thank you so much for the breakdown! I'm trying (for the 100th time) to embrace my waves so this helped so much as I feel I always mess up the diffusing. You're the BEST! 😍
Can't wait for Brad Mondo to come for this video too 😅 I'm really excited for this one as I finally bought a blow dryer and diffuser after air drying my entire life
I have some nice waviness in my hair that is very apparent when my hair is wet. I like the look of the waves (and I want to find a way to preserve them when my hair is dried) but my hair just dries into a bulky mess. My hair is really thick, not processed and I usually don’t have the patience to dry or style it. Would a diffuser be a good option for me?
I’m not sure where you are on your curly hair journey & what your current hair care routine looks like, but here are some general suggestions: So, getting layers is a great idea. It helps the curls spring up too. You also want to make sure you are using the appropriate wavy/curly products for your hair type (& remember your protein-moisture balance! Bulky hair may be a result of not enough or too much moisture.) And do NOT think you can get nice waves/curls without wavy/curly styling products like a curl cream! Adding a layer of a gel that will leave a cast you can scrunch out after your hair is dry will keep your style longer. It’s a learning process…& a long one at that. I personally went all natural over a year ago & I’m still learning. Anyways, hope some of this helps! 😊
Hi India! I KNOW this video was 2 yrs ago, but was wondering if these Herbal Essence products are STILL available for purchase or have since been discontinued? Are you using other products currently in Aug of 2024? Thanks for a reply! I love your hair!!! Curly hair girls rule! (Because our hair is versatile and we can be curly girls or straight-hair girls! Yay!
😢oh man, I just diffused my hair for the first time in my life and I'm stressed out. We have the same type of wave curl. But my hair is really long. I bought a Revlon infrared heat dryer with diffuser attachment, but the diffuser isn't bowl-shaped. It's only got two heat settings and speeds. I wish I could get my hair right. I'm about 7 months into my CGM journey, and honestly I've cried at times. I refuse to get it cut. I have length goals. But, my tangles are something else. Recently got a tangle teezer brush-the purple one that says it's ideal for Naturally Curly 3c-4c types. Obviously, I'm a 2c, so.. lately it's been ripping more of hair out. (I still have my wet brush, but I thought I needed a better detangler). So, do you suppose it's just completely incompatible with my hairtype? If anyone has any tips at all, please feel free to share. I'm so sick of the gatekeeping. Thanks a million 💜 Ps: Your hair looks amazing India, as always. Your hair is my goals!❤
So I’ve been trying to get my hair from looking like a rats nest lol and today I actually got a compliment on my hair, it made so happy. My hair is very poofy and big and I have wavy curly hair. I’m now barely learning how to care for it. Thanks
I grew up in a house where my dad had curly hair and my mom had stick straight hair, but my dad worked out of state and wasn’t home often. I had super curly hair but my mom and I didn’t know how to care for it so we abused it and treated it like her straight hair 😅 I started having major thyroid issues a few years ago and my hair fell out. It’s now really thin and fine but as I get my thyroid more in check my curls have started trying to come back. At my last job one of my coworkers commented on my curls and how if I treated them right they should keep healing, establish a pattern, etc. I cried 😂 I’ve started to be more gentle and respectful and learn how to care for my curls but I’ve been terrified of using blow dryers/heat of any kind of my hair for years. It’s hard when we aren’t taught the skills and it’s so worthwhile when someone sees the effort and beauty! 💛💛💛 good for you ma’am! I hope you’ve kept it up and are thriving!
In one of your videos you said that its important to wash out with cold water. I sadly dont remember which video it was. You either meant conditioner or the hair mask. Would you please help me to remember?
Also, India or other wavy girls with dry hair...what are your shampoo and conditioner recommendations? Mines mostly 2 c with some highlights. Thanks in advance .
Dry, wavy 2b here, with color but no bleach. I've found that the older I get, the more expensive products I have to use. When I was young and had a lot more natural moisture, no gray, and hormones working right, I could use drugstore products, but now they fry my hair. I've been have really good luck with the Olaplex line.
I found just using my hands as my “ defuser” works way better for me I have way more control of the hair cupped in my hands and you can scrunch the curls at the same time.Same hair/ color as India .and using a regular towel to scrunch works better then the micro for me and it doesn’t frizz it like they say it does but the micro does it’s strange but works
Hair is so complicated- good on you finding what works for you! My mom laughed the last time I stayed with her because I dried and plopped with a tee shirt 😂
I always have trouble focusing the back of my hair. It's definitely thicker then the front. I'm New to the wavey/curly girl sisterhood. Any tips sister friends?? My hair is wavey, gray and medium length and fine.
I have learned so much from you!! Thank you!! Do you know if there is a root powder that is geared for dark hair? I love root powder but it looks terrible on my dark brown roots!
I don’t know how dark they go but Cake brand had toned dry shampoo powder (which I’m assuming is the same thing?) but I recently bought the blonde one and like it! It definitely helps with volume!
I can't seem to find a good routine. I bought products that fit my hair perfectly but still it's not great.. I have to say, i hate my curls and i give up fast and then, i start again 😅

You’re hair is gorgeous but man I can’t stop looking at your eyes they’re out of this world. I don’t have words for how beautiful your eyes are.
Now if only my daughter would let me play with her curls to diffuse them like this!
As always, gorgeous hair.
Ahhhhhh convince her to diffuse her hair !!!!!
When your doing the root powder........"We're not going on top of the hair, we're not going ontop. We're just hanging out underneath" LOVE IT!

Thank you. The Pixie worked great. ❤
I just got the Shark new dryer. I love it. I can’t afford a dyson, would you do a review on it? Their diffuser is awesome.
Definitely going to try some of these tips to help with my wonky waves!
I love my dyson! It’s a game changer
It really is such a great hair dryer !!!!!!
This is exactly how I used to diffuse my 80's perm back in the day!

It’ll probably go up next Friday ✨
No matter what I try I ALWAYS end up with frizz. I can’t wait to try these tips. I do touch my hair a lot so that may be the culprit…..
Perfect video I am so confused about diffuser 🤗
Excellent products. Rocked this hair
Awww thank you my love
Yay another video! I always enjoy your videos and seeing mochi! 🥰🥰😘😘

I think a diffuser would be a great option to add definition. I think maybe you need some layers too ? That’s what it sounds like?

I love your videos India, could you make a video telling us how do you make money working with UA-cam and so on?

What root powder are you using now? I don't see one when I go to the link below.
How do u sleep with the hair ? Ponytail? Pineapple? Open ? Braided ? To not distroy the look
Satin, satin, satin. Wrap it or satin pillowcase
A bonnet can also work
Your hair looks great!

Did u say "volume powder"? Is it a specific product for the hair?
Im from Brazil and I have never heard of it here

Do I hover like India in a still manner like in this video or do I hover like other youtubers in sections and circles?
I pressed on the link for your root powder and it went to the prose website does not go to any root powder?
How do you detangle your hair every day between shampoos?
Hey India, newbie here 🙂 do you diffuse until all of your hair is dry or do you partial diffuse then air dry for example 80% diffuse -20% air dry? X
Such a great video
Awww I really appreciate this feedback 💛💛💛💛
Lol Hermione hair! ❤️🤣
Any recommendations for shampoo bars and conditioner bars
Congratulation on the vídeo and Happy Friday
Have a lovely weekend my love
You should try the shark hyperair
Do you like it ?????
@@indiabatson26 i think so im still testing it out and the video was great
Where did you find your diffusers?
Omg Hermione Hair 😆
Sally’s Ion line has a couple hair dryers to the dyson dryer for a fraction of the price!
It's March 2023, 1 of the Herbal Essense has been my go to for years. Now I think they no longer make it. Bio Renew Coconut 😞
my roots dry much faster than my ends. It's so weird!!
I know if hair is damaged it can take longer to dry, so maybe your ends are a lot more damaged? if not, that's pretty unusual!
So funny! 🤩
Hope you enjoy the video
I can't seem to find a good routine. I bought products that fit my hair perfectly but still it's not great.. I have to say, i hate my curls and i give up fast and then, i start again 😅
I find it so hard not to use my hands 😩 lol
Hello India,I'm Guilherme
You let some info slip into your add
Brad Mondo says never touch the diffuser to your hair and never blow upwards as it causes frizz- only downward or ar a 90° angle to your head.
That would totally flatten out my wavy curls 🙃

Why do Americans not pronounce the h in herbal 😅 genuine question.
Herbal essences is sooooooo bad for your hair 👀
