    Little tip for anyone who finds this! If your curls/waves start going flat, styles aren’t holding anymore, and you cant figure out what to do; take a break from styling and just wash/condition then wear your hair up or in braids for a week or two. The next time you style again your ringlets will not only be tighter they will last much longer!! Sometimes hair needs more than just a clarifying wash day, it can take several washes over a week or two to really remove the buildup and just get the hair back to square one and ready for styling again.

      Oh my gosh thank you thank you thank you! I have been dealing with this for months, and I've been so so upset and no matter how many times I've clarified it wouldn't do anything. I was just so confused, sad and hopeless. Then seeing this video and your comment I realized I've been testing out so many new products and just noticed my hair is still limp no matter how many different masks, gels, creams etc. I use. I've just been doing so much lately and really taking the 20 step routine to heart that I hadn't realized I was doing too much with my high porosity hair and needed to go back to step one.

      My hair literally just became wavy with some spirals underneath.. So I’m still trying to figure out what to do with it.. Ugh.. Fine wavy 2b hair .. AND I have to wash it daily.. It’s only been a month, but it’s a bit frustrating when my hair goes flat within like 8 hours of drying.

    Your my holy grail of curly hair, I used to wear my natural curls all the time up until I was 20-21 then after that I’ve always had it blown dried straight or had rollers in it , I’ve not had it curly for 24 years now and well seeing how gorgeous your hair looks and I have the same hair type as yours I thought am giving it ago and I love it so much thank you for sharing your hair journey but I really wanted to say Thank You for giving me the confidence to wear it naturally again. I came for a hair video and I’ve been part of your Subs family for a couple of months and I adore 🥰 your content and how infectious your personality is it really makes you feel welcome happy and overall you feel like smiling 😊 for the rest of the day .❤🥰😘❤xxx

    After watching many Videos for curly hair I got a new shampoo a conditioner and a leave in conditioner for my daughter and since she has to shower this evening we will use them right away and I will try out some other Tipps I also saw in some of ure other Videos...i'm so excited to see how it works for her😂😂😂it does feel like I'm doing it all for myself... I bought the leave in conditioner too because her hair is very dry and dull looking I'm especially excited about that one... since she's only eight I didn't get any styling products because I want to focus on haircare but thank u so much for those videos they helped me a lot in understanding curly hair better and right now I'm even thinking about letting my hair grow again 🤗

    My problem is that I have really loose hair when it’s dry. It’s barely wavy. When I diffuse or when I air dry I get the same results, very lousy hair that barely wavy. When its extremely wet I have pretty clumps but they dying really fast when I start drying (air, hover/pixi diffuse). I tried a lot of products, different gels, mousse, foam, same result. When I break cast too. Tried a lot of technics... I’m in cgm/wgm for about a month now and not sure if I need to continue, maybe I’m just born with stupid hair 😂 But i would glad if you can recommend something 😮

I use a good conditioner and try to stay in the shower a bit longer so it soaks it. I understand the head and shoulders is drying but I can’t deal with an itchy dandruffy scalp :00.

      She has a video on how to style the hair for a week on just one wash with tips on refresh and how to sleep 😴 at night without ruining your style , hope this helps ❤❤❤. Personally I put mine in a satin scrunchy and then lay it over my satin pillow case so am only laying on my underneath of my head . If you find your hair is dry and feels like it needs moisture try using a hair mask before shampooing I have silver/white bleached hair it’s almost waist length and I swear by this to get extra shine plus I use the same mask as my conditioner also it’s been a game changer for me and my hair. I use a hair brand called Dikson I use the mask for curly hair but any good hair mask would work. Hope this helps you . Here if you need anything 🥰

      You should probably invest in a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner if not already. And then it's super important, after styling, NOT to touch your hair until fully dry. I know it's hard not to because it can take hours to air-dry. But, I also recommend investing in a continuous mist water bottle for daily refreshes. Use the cotton T-shirt or microfiber towel to scrunch. It makes a world of difference. And I like how India mentioned the tangle teezer. I need to get one. For combing in shower during conditioner phase. I know these things or lack of, contribute to the dry and frizzy hair. Hope you can heal your hair. I'm still on my journey too💜

    Just curious, do you ever brush your hair? I have a wet/dry brush and have seen many curly videos where they brush in the conditioner to got it on all strands but I didn't see you do that. What are your thoughts on brushing? And by the way, your hair is BEAUTIFUL!! 😊

    Could you mention what your hair type is? Like density, porosity and thickness?

    • @indiabatson26
      @indiabatson26  Рік тому +2

      Hi yes (:
      I mostly have type 2 hair with a couple 2”3a curls thoughout. I have thin hair strands, but a high density of hair! So basically a lot of thin hairs lol & high porosity from getting highlights xx

      @pattip125 Рік тому

      @indiabatson26 I loved this video! BUT, lol. There's always one, right?! Like you, I have 2b/2c with a few 3a's, but I have low porosity (takes 4-5 hours air drying). My hair is very healthy, all natural gray, but I live in a very humid environment so I fight frizz constantly. I read somewhere that I should stay away from Gels?
      Question: Can you tell me what products (Creams, Oils, Gels, etc.) that you would add to my shampoo and conditioner routine? Thank you SOOO much!

    I never know what “dull” means in the context of hair (or skin tbh). What does that mean? Flat, no shine, dry, something else?

    Does taking the foam, from the lather on my scalp, and running it through to my ends count as shampooing them? I’m not scrubbing, just pulling the foam down my lengths but I worry I’m drying out my hair.

    • @pragyasingh2297
      @pragyasingh2297 Рік тому

      That's usually what I do! I have an incredibly dry scalp so I have to put some sort of a hair oil in my roots and through my ends, so when it's time for wash day, I just take some of the foam from the shampoo on my scalp and gently pull it down the lengths of my hair. If you're worried about drying out your hair, you could always add a little extra conditioner and work it into your ends! Hope this helps

  • @laureng6083

    My hair is wavy, not curly. I rock my wave. I prefer natural. It’s easy and fast. I do curl my roots and pieces that are less wavy. I love adding texture. I use limited heat and it’s fast , easy and I don’t mind doing it.
