Hey Ranzee, I got the Behringer MS-1 recently and it doesn't have the MK2 on the synth. I did not know about the 1.1.2 firmware update, only the 1.0.6 update. Do I need to install these updates and do I need to install both or just the latest update? Or is it already installed from the factory? Thanks, your help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Mine just arrived today with the sequencer issues so I'm trying to update the firmware, but the synth updater App won't recognise my device for seemingly no reason at all. Mine is an Ms1 although there is no actual difference between ms1 and 101, so I can't see that being the issue. Can anyone help please?
hey ranzee, can you confirm that syncing the ms-101 from an external clock master via midi only (like cubase, tr-08 or anything else) is starting the sequencer in time or does it start a tick earlier than the master with version 1.1.2? because in the video it sounds like it is not exactly in time with the metronome! And did you've figured out how to enable midi out clock send to let the ms-101 act as a clock master? A last one is do you know if there is a possibility to download previous firmwares of the ms-101 somewhere?

To make it more strange... Today I received a firmware update for my MS-101! It's version 1.1.11 Got it from Synthtribe 2.6.7 @@internetretrogamedatabasei6838
So I can get the MS to receive midi beat clock in sync with my DAW through USB, but the pattern/sequence does not play properly, I have the latest firmware update installed, any suggestions how I can sync the pattern/sequence in my DAW? I don"t have a midi interface nor a extra outpit to send it a trig, trying to get this to work thru USB

Hi ranzee looks like my ms-1 has deactivated the sequencer working with the daw or midi in clock, I don’t know how to send the sysex command is there another way I can active it?
@@ranzee yes thanks i had a really old version of the synth tool. the only thing that doesn't work that well is when making changes via the synth tool sequencer i have to power cycles the ms-1 for the changes to take effect. any ideas?
Hi. Do you know if the seq/arp sends out Midi? Looks like they use Midi over USB when triggering the pro-1 in their oen demovideo. Is it only USB mid out? Does the seq/arp send cv/gate out?

Sounds like you're still running the sequencer. You can turn the sequencer off by hand or set it to never turn on via MIDI start/stop clock messages using the SynthTool app (Sequencer auto syn) - check that out here: ua-cam.com/video/slawAqTp-ng/v-deo.html

Hi Travis - it's a switching input - so it takes 100-240 V input - so it will work in the US.

I would install the SynthTool from Behringer's website - there's a few options in there with sequencer clock sync. Perhaps it is not set correctly.

Use the SynthTool provided by Behringer on the MS-1 downloads page. It has the options to enable/disable in there.
