Truly Great Aussie Band... really added another dimension to Farnsy.... another Great Vander and Young song.
This HBO special was the first time I saw Little River Band perform. I fell in love with them. The love has lasted almost 40 years.
Farnham could belt out the songs. Saw them when toured the upstate NY area back then . The concert was like listening to the LP's on a good stereo system , thats how good their sound was. The voices werent drowned out by the instruments . They had everything dialed in perfect .

Summer of 1983 HBO was showing his concert regularly and every time it came on I watched it for this song and for. "D"!

I REALLY liked the Shorrock led LRB but this band with Farnham really kicked ass.
They had Beeb still. He makes the difference. I don't think he was long for LRB past this show.
And that tall woman in the pink tank top and skirt swaying and dancing ... oh my. Back in the day lol. I'll bet she's STILL a beauty.

I was at the concert in St. Louis (1983) when they rolled out this song. "We appreciate our St. Louis fan base so we wanted to dedicate this song and you're the first to hear it so we hope you'll enjoy it. " Love the song but hard to find on CD or digital.
St Louis is on the remastered (2022) version of The Net. On iTunes now
