Sing it Wayne👏👏👏✌️🙏
Some great harmony . This line-up was strong and when my brother first put on the cd "Playing to win " we looked at each other and smiled . I sometimes like hard rock .This band has ,in the past, had some tunes with a harder edge to it . So my family & friends like that line-up . Then " No Reins"cd was another interesting sound that we loved ....Good day !
Playing to Win was sung by John Farnham. Amazing song and amazing vocals.
This is sooo divine!
LRB was one of my faves in the 80's. First Under the Wire was just a fabulous album. Thanks so much for sharing.
LOVE this song. The lyrics, vocals and harmonies are pure.
I guess it is kinda off topic but does anybody know a good website to watch newly released movies online?
Loved their music. Their harmonies can still stop me dead in my tracks.
With a TON of great tunes this was always my favorite LRB song.
Wayne singing Beeb's part, then Beeb sings Glenn's part. I love side two of First Under the Wire so much.
This is a great harmony band of all time rock on little river band for ever
The first album I heard with them was No Reins, and then I was stuck.
The harmonies are incredible and the ability to make the lyrics go along so perfectly with the melodies are just as incredible.
You can hear on the melodies what the songs are about.
I bet I am the biggest LRB fan in Sweden!
And I have all your albums on vinyl, except for a few of the latest, because I think they sound better.
So thank you so much Mr Goble for all the unforgettable songs!
I dig LRB in the classic lineups. So much talent and entertainabilty.
Another great song. Thanks for posting Graeham.....
I used to hear this amazing song in Xtasis FM Radio in 91.3 dial in Temuco, Chile during the 80s.
Outstanding!
Its nice to hear your high notes, Graeham starting around 3:00, since Beebs took the lower notes for this song. I love your high notes and Beebs together on other songs, and you harmonize so close that I try to determine who is highest, etc. I read or saw on another video where someone said you usually are highest, then beebs, but of course I hear you switching during songs. Your harmonizing is suburb and a joy for my listening ears!! I especially like Beeb, you and Shorrock together. LOVE, LOVE, "Lady".
LRB is immortal...Irreplaceable and will never be substituted. Their unique harmony lives on...
Unbelievable. I have no words
A masterpiece
Muy linda ...🙏🙏
Thanks for the video! I've searched for this gem for so long! Hadn't listened to it for almost 40 years, the first time it was on the radio, on a car trip. I'd memorised two lines only, I ignored its name, it was always on my mind, though. Don't know why I googled "middle man" (lowercase!) today. Oh, I'm happy to listen to it again. Sounds so sweet to me. Grateful indeed. Love from Argentina.
Nice to see this. Not enough genuine L.R.B. video content out there from the early days.
Amazing
Man, these guys could sing! M7th harmony on top at 3:10 is MONEY!
PRAISE YAHWEH !!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY EASTER
One of their better songs. The harmonious signing from these guys cannot be topped and few can rival them. Should have kept it together.
Nelson is far from one of my favourite people because of the shenanigans over the LRB name, but he is a good singer and bassist and I have to say he actually does a pretty good job on this - one of my very favourite LRB songs.
Not Wayne Nelson's fault, it's Stephen Housden's. Wayne basically works for Stephen. I'm sure if it was up to Wayne, BSG would be part of the band. I've met Wayne and had discussions with him multiple times. He's a very kind person. One of the nicest guys out there. Stephen Housden isn't (I haven't met him, he's just the reason for LRB not being very LRB).
Housden more to blame, I think Nelson just wants to keep playing his part in the band.
Hi Greame. I assume it is Glenn on the album version? Wayne has a killer voice though huh. Shame he's on the dark side. hah
Beeb sings the lead originally , Glenn sings the middle part "The 1st will be last" and on ...... This HBO version is new for me .Everyone is sounding wonderful. Wayne is very good here . Beeb singing Glenn's middle part , Glenn he has left the band the 1st time . I think John F. was in this show ? . Great look in the past.
Graeme , it feels like a Beeb inspired song - am I right or is it a collaboration? Or is it yours?
Nelson lrb
Now this is the real Little River Band the group today who they call the Little River Band how shameful
beebs looks like james franco here lol
Is he chewing gum?
Who cares. He's sexy as f*** and it doesn't take away from his excellent singing voice. Love him! ❤
Like it better with Beeb singing the lead. Not a fan of Wayne Nelson.
Love this great song. One of my favorites.
