The tape on the micro SD card is so simple, so many ppl out there must wish they thought of it. A great way of labelling the card visibly!

I love the Osmo Pocket, however, it has a learning curve and it always felt very delicate. I like the Osmo Action, sturdy and ready when I need it

Very helpful tips. My Osmo Action just arrived today. I was especially interested in using the tape on the SD card. I have the same issue with my DJI Osmo Pocket. Getting that little SD card to go into the slot and then to get it out. Many broken finger nails. I use a tiny screwdriver. Thought DJI would have addressed this by now.

Great equipment and features reviews, thank you. I would like to see how to connect my iPhone as a monitor to Osmo Action and your review of wireless mic system set-up too would be helpful. Putting together a travel video bag now, after 9 years of packing around way too much gear, my 7D -5D Cannons, bigger Drones & cases and cases of stuff, i decided to go the other extreme now with Osmo Action set-up, plus a mini DJI Spark for a few aerials, but still need sound to a external Zoom recorder, thanks

I've been using this camera a lot. I saw this 3 month-old video and wondered if I'd get anything out of it at this point. Yep! Didn't know about the double tap to switch screens! Great video, thanks!
Do you have any info about a firmware update for an external mic, and to maybe address the video lag, and hopefully the audio getting out of sync when you record past 5 minutes and a new file is created? Thanks again!

Hi Sir, Do you know if the DJI Osmo Action is going to get timelapse "timewarp" what the GoPro Hero 7 had?
Also just was wondering about the use of tape on SD card, if the tape is a little long you could breach the seal on the SD slot door which could allow water ingress have you measured the tape length so this does not have any risk?

Everytime i see you on the very first second, i know i will see a nice, correct and detailed tech video. Thank you! One question: at 6:11 when you stop recorging, does it power off itself, just like gopro? (useful on a helmet, so i can hear the state)
Yes, it will power off automatically after 3 seconds

I like your expandable handle/selfie, you didn't add it to the description, you don't mind if I ask? About the CAMERA, still doubtful of dji ability compare to goPro...of course I have dji drone, but I'm almost convinced. Thnx for sharing some info, I let you know if I get one(dji osmo action)
Will the TELESIN Selfie Stick also work on Osmo Pocket to extend my framing with the help of wifi adapter so I can view the recording on my smartphone using the memo app?
I absolutely love the specs and capability of this new AC. But I am jammed full of GoPro accessories, and I guess I'd have to give it all away and start over, Sigh!

Just bought the Osmo action camera based on your review. No regrets. Got tired of GoPro bugs. Is there a feature where I can take video and pics at the same time? I realize I could take a snapshot of 4k video in post edit, but I would rather cpature a higher resolution pic while filming. Thanks
Really hope that GoPro would have that Linear mode in 4k 60fps... hate it when I can only record that mode in 2.7k! I might sell my GoPro for this

Hello Aldryn I have been having some trouble downloading footage off my Osmo action onto my iPhone I use the DJI Mimo app and when I press download it pops up with incificient storage but my iPhone has plenty of storage.
Would you have a solution to this if so I would love some advice!

i just order this Osmo for paintballing , but usually i like it on the right side of my mask. if i mount the cam as Portrait can it still record as landscape mode? just wondering because this is my very first action cam. thanks in advanced
Hey, Aldryn. Enjoy your videos. I use my Osmo Action cam while cycling with the app on my iPhone 13. Problem: the camera icons on my phone screen are so small I can’t see them while riding. Know any way to make them larger on my phone screen? Don’t see any app setting for this and I don’t think my phone setting are applicable. Thanks
