I am planning to buy go pro H9. Now i've seen this review, and the others. I better go for this one. Aside from the price, way cheaper than the hero 9, I enjoy editing as well, footage looks better for me. This is really a good review. 👍

Just picked up a used one on Adorama for $150...Score! Besides the great GUI DJI always seems to have the best color science in their products. With d-cinelike and a good set of nd filters this camera can still be beast in a tiny package(3 years after release date too!).

GoPro Hero9 is the biggest piece of crap I bought in the last year. It’s the worst GoPro ever made.

I was about to buy a second GoPro and hadn't even heard of this camera until I saw it in another review.
After watching several of these reviews now, this is definitely better than a GoPro. No more accidentally recording hours of video in time lapse because I accidentally touched the screen wrong...

Hi thanks so much for this video, it's extremely helpful! Quick question, do you know if there is a setting that may allow the Osmo Action to take multiple auto photos? For example, setting the Osmo Action on a tripod to take random photos through out an event without having the need of an operator press the button or say the command.

Useful tips, thanks! How about a video showing how to control it remotely rather than the back screen? For my GoPro 7s I most often use the app rather than the small hard-to-see text on the back of the screen (we with older eyes, you know ... :0) ).

Thanks for helping me set Osmo action camera tonight. Here is where I could use some serious assistance. I am a total novice at shooting videos and photography. I’d really like to turn out some good content. Do you have a video or a page that has a recommended list of different presets for taking slow motion, Time lapse, hyperlapse, and so on...if there is a show on LOL that’s how new I am to photography.
I am also turning in to a LumaFusion pro because of your very helpful videos.

COOKIESCRIB couple of tips I’ve learned. 1) make sure rocksteady is on. 2) if you think you will do slow mo, shoot in 60fps so you can slow it down when editing and still keep it smooth. I haven’t used the slow-mo option much though..not sure how many FPS that is.

I think the best take-away from this video applies to all of us who take 'photos or videos on digital media. Always make sure you've got enough storage capacity to last your shooting requirements (battery life). Have enough memory cards to match your batteries, swap your storage card when you change the battery, and format it as part of your power on checks. I carry two card cases, one for unused, one for used.
