This was such an informative and helpful video!! I feel eager to read So Late in the Day, James, and Bradshaw Variations now. Glad to see you enjoyed Circe too. I absolutely loved The Palace of Eros if you’re still in the mood for Greek myth retellings. Great writing and storytelling in that one!
Margaux!!!! Thank you, such a compliment from you. Will check out The Palace of Eros.
what a packed reading month!! there’s nothing better than getting through a bunch of tinies. really intrigued by the miranda darling and lauren elkin. bradshaw variations is probably gonna be one of the next cusks that i pick up, seems like it’ll be kind of in line with arlington park!!
Miranda Darling felt closer to Arlington Park, maybe because the plot feels similar. If you’ve read In The Folds by Cusk that’s quite similar to Bradshaw.
excited to watch this video! but just wanna ask: would you ever do a bookshelf tour? it looks so beautiful 🥰
I did one in my bookshelf q&a at the end of the video. Maybe I’m due an update though? ua-cam.com/video/Ihbzt_ejmWQ/v-deo.htmlsi=7A13TYPU_xGe0tGM
@@r.enee.morris sorry, I should've gone through your old videos to check if you've posted one already, I'll check it out!
@chamomilegf no it’s all good. I’ve acquired more books since then so a an update at the end of the year could be needed.
