    I’ve used android for 12 years, I had the Note 10+ and now the iPhone 14 pro max (my first iPhone ever). And my dad got the S23 ultra. Samsung always gave me an enjoyable experience and I decided to try something new this time. I also kinda felt like iPhones aged better over time as opposed to androids, so that also influenced my decision. I love my new phone, and using my dads S23 ultra that phone is also amazing. It really comes down to your preference, you honestly can’t go wrong with either if you’re deciding on which one.

      Are you using your iPhone as your daily driver.? I am thinking to buy iPhone 14 pro for different experience. How is your experience with iPhone.? I am professionally a graphic designer and I use iMac for my work. If buy iPhone 14 will it be worth for me..?

      Yeah, i agree with you 100%! I've always had Google Pixels. I bought my first iPhone 13 Pro Max last year for Fathers Day. I love it to death! I am STILL not used to IOS smoothness, and the battery life and optimization! The OS update longevity is amazing, as well! I can't believe that Samsung is beating Google, at their own game with their 4 years of guaranteed updates for the newer Galaxy phones either! THat's just absurd in my opinion!

    • @Alfredo-lol
      @Alfredo-lol Рік тому +5

      @@dragonche7 yeah my iPhone is my daily driver now, honestly I really like it so far. If I’m being picky, I would just say it’s a bit heavy for me. But I got a popsocket and now it’s not an issue at all
      The OS is smooth and the battery lasts so long, it has taken me a while to get used to since I’ve been an android user for a long time
      But I think I’ve adjusted very well
      Idk if an iPhone would be worth it to you, it really depends on you
      You can’t go wrong with the s23 ultra either, that phone is a beast too. I almost got the s23 ultra but again I just wanted to try something new and I don’t regret it

      How did you get used to iOS gestures? The fact that iOS does not have the universal "back" gesture like android just drives me mad 😂 Also inability to do multitasking properly like on Samsung. I feel like you can do much more with android

    • @Alfredo-lol
      @Alfredo-lol Рік тому +7

      @@circuit_breaker__ You’re absolutely right
      I do miss the back button feature but I’ve adjusted over time and I never really utilized the all the multitasking capabilities on android so that didn’t affect me as much
      But yeah the back button on android is elite, and I’ll definitely reconsider what phone I get when my 3 year contract is up
      Swiping back on iPhone to me is very inconsistent and you can’t swipe back on every app, you gotta exit out of things and X button is all over the place depending on the app
      I think android is the best that it’s ever been and it’s only gonna get better
      Seeing the s23 ultra did make me wonder if I made the right decision or not
      Being honest

    I think it's important to mention with the S23 that it also has a face unlock method, just you can't use it for payments and secure things like that. S23 can also go to the home screen without having to swipe or anything if it's unlocked through face recognition. With lift to wake, you just have to pick up your phone and you're on the home screen before you've even touched the screen.

    I think when comes to the phone itself the s23 Ultra is definitely the better devices versus the 14 pro max without question. However, when you add ecosystem to the equation then the 14 pro max would be the winner because of how Apple devices communicate well together very fluently. It’s funny when you actually think about it though because it takes an entire ecosystem to beat one phone 😂.

    My last iPhone was 4, and I’ve been using Samsung S series and Notes ever since. At first it was just for the novelty of getting something different, but then I got used to having expandable memory, the myriad customization options, and always on display. I have also been envious of my iPhone using friends and family when they got new features, but 99.9% of the time there was always an Android equivalent. I was considering getting the 14PM for it’s satellite connectivity and now that Samsung has done away with the micro SD slot. But I figured I never have and never would use a sat phone, however I do use split screen multitasking, 10x optical lens, DeX, reverse charging, super fast charging, and the S-pen all the time… so I stuck with an S23 Ultra for my new phone.

If you have iPads, HomePods, Apple TV, Macs, AirPods you’re not going to switch to Samsung regardless of there phone features or design. iPhones work very well with other apple devices and that’s why I stay in Apple ecosystem. Even if I switch to Samsung it’s not going to work well with my other devices. 😊

    I gotta admit after my S22 Ultra stops getting it's yearly Android updates I'm thinking about something like an ROG or Red Magic type of situation. Even a Sony Experia maybe. I'd rather have something that's more focused on an entertainment experience as opposed to just ALL camera. I miss having a headphone jack. That wired connection always sounds more premium than Bluetooth. I want front facing speakers 🔊 with no holes or notches. I think it's criminal they took away the headphone jack and won't even include a charger in the box. That Sony Expieria is REALLY looking attractive. 🔥 I've had it with Samsung and I Phone. They're both dropping the ball. If Sony made the Expieria available at the carriers it would be a no Brainer. I'd have already gotten one but coming up with that chunk of change up front for a phone is tough. Miss The OLD Samsung. Note 9 is still my favorite from every phone I've ever owned. Had they made a Note 9 with 120hz and the updated cameras and software it would be GAME OVER. It's a shame they REALLY watered down what was once awesome. Miss having an IR blaster too. Not sure why these phone companies can't just make the SUPER PHONE we all want. They're always missing something. But for now The 22 Ultra will Do. Definitely eyeballing something better though once I find it.

    So, I've got a 14 pro max and an s23 ultra currently and I will say a few things:
    1. The iPhone heats up more, especially when you're using GPS a lot and watching videos, etc. I've done ride sharing and it heats up especially when it's sunny. Either the s23 ultra has a better cooling solution, or the a16 bionic is just a hotter chip.
    2. The 8gb variant of the s23 ultra is a lot more laggy. I've had the 256gb and the 512gb version and that 12gb of ram makes a difference. The 512gb variant is buttery smooth most of the time, pretty much iPhone level.

    Samsung is all about freedom since 2008,  is all about simplicity since 2007. Nothing has changed in this situations, however, Samsung has more features than iOS no doubt, many Samsung features are not used by many people because they are just much in there, you can’t use everything can you?
    Anyways I love Samsung features but I love iPhone more. I will wait for iOS 17 to see if  will add my favorites features which is split screen mode and what else? 💁
    Well this is what I can remember

      This is what people don’t understand lol
      Some of us won’t use all the gimmicky features so they go to waste.

    Can someone ask UA-cam to lock out children from commenting here? "My hot wheels car is better!" "No, my hot wheels car is better!" Our family uses both Android (Samsung and others) as well as iPhone (13 Pro Max). It all comes to features, preferences and the time of purchase. Someone likes manual transition but someone hates it (for all the children here, that is a thing built in to a car which makes the car engine work smoothly across the range of speeds). We all have our preferences. P.S. I am currently waiting for the S23 to be delivered. My wife is already driving the automatic. 🙂

    i really like boxy phone. i don't own any of these phones but i want to wait for samsung to lower the price and maybe i will try to get it. also i prefer a more flat screen but i don't like the edges of the iphone.
    yeah i don't like the hole punch in the middle of both phones. i can't think any other phone of the top of my head than the red magic 8 pro...big screen small bezels and it hides the hole camera.
    but if you just look at the samsung back. it just looks like the old sony xperia phone back tbh
