Hi ... I returned back to shooting over a year ago, I went for the 0.22 Gamo Varmint Swarm 10x shot with the 10 pellet magazine, for around £235 it was a great choice ... Would love PCP but at the moment what with all the added stuff PCP needs it's slightly outside my price range, but the great thing about springer’s is that all you need is the Rifle & Pellets and away you go ... ! Thanks for your valued content on here ... Keep up the great work ... !
As someone who's been a long time small game hunter but just recently got into air rifles I'm glad I went with a break barrel for my first air gun. I really didn't like the thought of dealing with tanks, pumps, or compressors just to kill some squirrels. I disregarded all of the "springer aren't accurate" nonsense and bought a $150 break barrel in 22 and I've absolutely slaughtered the squirrels with it this year. Head shots all day long at the 15-30 yards I typically hunt. Plus endless plinking around with no pump to refill. If you're going to be doing serious target/long range shooting then a PCP would be worth the investment. But if you're small game hunting at typical small game distances you're not really giving up anything by going with a break barrel and it's more convenient having a self contained system that never needs refilling and isn't so temperature sensitive.
I just started with a $160 0.177 break barrel. I get 1.25" groups at 22yds so I would say 25yds is my confident max. Video prices didn't include optic. So it's costing some $300 to add 30yds to my package. I think his velocity is too high so he should try a little heavier pellet.
I recommend the Gamo Swarm fusion in .22. I've had mine since last fall and it's never let me down. Also people who say "springs aren't accurate" just don't understand break barrels. They are held completely different than a real firearms. Most of them don't use a spring anymore, they use a nitro piston cylinder.
At least there are 10 round magazines for the break barrels now. I used to have a heck of a time handling the .177 pellets. Next one will be a .22 or .25 cal.
For backyard plinking and hunting at about 50 yards break barrel all the way. Gamo whisper .177 and Gamo swarm magnum in .22 are the 2 I got and they are both pretty affordable and really reliable.
I have both. Weihrauch hw97k .22, and Taipan veteran .25 long. Shot springers for YEARS and still love my Weihrauch for its accuracy and simplicity. The PCP world is a game changer though. Zero recoil, quiet, and long range super accuracy if you do your part... Even sub-MOA groups out to 100yds plus.
I started off with the RWS Diana 48/52 spring air gun. Quit using it because I couldn’t never get it sighted in. Nobody told me that you can’t use a regular scope on a springer beck because of the crazy recoil pattern and that it would break the scope! Duh! Fast forward 25 years, new scope and range and I’m having a blast with this rifle. Good job on these reviews, keep them coming.

I have 3 break barrels. They are very good but at 60 years old now and a bad arm. I went with the PCP's now. I love this Hatsan Bullpup QE and the Uramex compressor is great. I get all of my stuff from Airgun Depot, They have the best people that you can talk to.
Hey Ben . I sure enjoyed your video. I own both types of guns and enjoy each. However I sure enjoy the challenge of break barrel shooting and that will be my next air gun purchase. That Sig has my interest.
I've been into these two, pcp and break barrel. I had a single shot pcp, gamo (bb).177, and ruger targus .22 before. At present i have a gamo roadster .22 10x gen2. For me break barrel has a lot of advantages vs pcp. You're correct, as long as you have the pellets, you can shoot all day long 24/7 with the break barrel. Break barrel👍👍👍
I also have the Gamo 1420, and 1650 fps. Gamo rocks it! Extremely fast, accurate and durable firearms! PCP can’t even get close to the fps at this present time, and who wants to pump air into the gun after many shots?!
Get a decent springer, tune it a bit, will last a long time. Then you get bit by the bug and buy another, and another and start discussions on forums about trigger assemblies etc. haha good stuff.
I have and use both on a regular basis. My pcp`s are Edgun Matador, Daystate(2), FX, the springers are Pro Sport, R1, FWB124D. If I go to the woods it`s the Matador or the R1, down in the basement it is the AA or the FWB. They are all capable of small game hunting, and have taken many small critters. My favorite is the beautiful older FX Tarantula S in .22, with a six section FX moderator. I don`t see one type being better than the other, just different.
I went from looking at reviews for a Walmart pellet gun to spending $400 at airgun depot after watching ur channel. The sig isnt even in stock, I had to pre order...but u made me want 1. Hope it lives up to the hype.
I recently went camping with my guantlet and break barrel. I did the 70ish shots in the gauntlet but then just didnt want to pump no more. So i ended up using my break barrel a whole lot more. I got both mine for survival guns. But im thinking the break barrel will actually be better.
I’d like to have a PCP but at the same time I love my two break barrels… You just can’t beat the rock solid reliability. If you want to go hunting grab a rifle and some pellets and take off… It doesn’t get much easier than that… I didn’t have much trouble with accuracy when I first got my break barrels once I got the barrel seasoned. It takes several pellets before you’ll really see the best performance from a break barrel… I can shoot dime sized groups at 30 like it ain’t nothing. Truth be told most of your shots will be anywhere between 20 and 40 yards when you’re hunting. Unless you just want to get a mil-dot scope and really dial in your shooting skills for longer range and put yourself to the test… I’ve practiced from 50 yards and did pretty good but I’ve only taken a few shots hunting at that range in reality… Great video, I’m really enjoying your channel…👍🏼
In my mid 50's I am refurbing my old Frankenstein Build 0.77 riffle I used as a teenager and going by this video, I know I want to be able to add my skill level to be able to shoot with RECOIL :-) Maybe I am Old School ;)
I preface by saying it is purely a matter of taste. For me a break barrel, like Beeman Mantis, suits my needs for hunting and pest control up to 45 yards. It can shoot farther but that is as far as I need to shoot because of the included silencer. Follow-up shots are no problem, though rarely ever needed. It does not miss. 0.3 inch groups at 33 yards, 1,000 fps muzzle, 18.4 foot pounds, with cheap Superdome 8.3 gr pellets. A great Magnum gun selling for $129. Just upgrade the scope and get a padded strap. You might want one, it's 9.2 lb. And very long, 49 in. But pretty easy to cock. I attached the strap with just velcro strips and vinyl glue. Works for all my guns. Really don't want to fool with the compressed air, failing seals, etc. associated with pcps. And I don't mind a little kick, I been shooting firearms my whole life. Thanks for the video.
I have a Walther Parrus .22 cal break barrel. Accurate and hits hard. Does everything I need it to do and is self contained with no need for tanks or refills.
Meh, the volume is relatively low, even if compressed to 220/240 bar. A PRV set to just above the working pressure on the cylinder should be absolutely fine. Treat your cylinder in terms of maintenance as you would any pressure vessel..
I'd recommend break barrel for beginners cheaper accurate to reasonable distances and no pump or compressor to deal with. You treat it right and almost never will throw it out. After you gain some experience end just decide you want more range you can buy a pcp
the best break barrel out now and deadly accurate and screams quality when ya hold it and it weighs 3 kilos is the BSA Meteor Super , it comes with a spring in the UK and gas ram technology in the USA GRT
I’m brand new to air rifles… the more research I do, the more I’m leaning toward break barrel. They seem to be much more price friendly for entry level/beginner.
Great show I'm sure your going to get more power from the Gauntlet so that's a plus but with the break barrel no need for a fill tank or compressor it's a good starter gun my first air gun was a 177 Gamo swarm whisper it made scenes as far as affordability I didn't have to shell out a lot more for something to fill it I now have a Air Venturi 22 avenger and saving for the avenger X now that I have a compressor I know there are hand pumps which I have but at 67 years young I just can't handle that hand pump for long it's my emergency backup
#1.. How much money you want to spend ? Good well made German springer $200 - $600...Decent PCP and all the bits $1,000 and up.... I'm a springer man, a Walther Terrus and a Diana 34 solid accurate, nothing fancy. great to shoot and all I need is a tin of pellets and I'm good to go. Mastering a springer is not as challenging as some people would have you believe and it's more fun than "buying" accuracy which is the sales pitch for PCPs
Thanks Ben I'm new to airgunning and you have provided me a wealth of knowledge up to this point. I recently purchased 2 gamo magnum gen 2 break barrels. One for me and one for my 14yr old son. I often need to help him cock it but he's getting there. Anyway, wanted to thank you for your informative vids. This will be a great hobby for me and my boy. Thanks again, BUDA
Well when I have around $800.00 bucks to spare thats ruffle what I figure it's going to cost me to get into a Umarex Gauntlet plus ammo and a good pump owe don't forget scope not happening it's the Gamo swarm Magnum gen 2 thats my pick
I just got this one a week ago. Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN 2 .22 cal.. In the right hands, and a proven scope, (like my little Leupold 3-9x33 AO freedom series, proven to me on my mag springers with over 2500 shots), that gun will put you in the PCP zone to 100 yards. The 10 shot clip is very cool too, on a break barrel, and the barrel locks up very nicely, (best I ever had, but I may get this Sig next and see if it is as good as advertised). With that gun, and my way of holding them, (Don't hold it basically, or touch it as little as possible and let the gun do it's thing the same every time), I will take this guys money with that PCP all day long.
Not many guys on YT can really shoot a springer well, which is why they only do 20-30 yards. I sight mine in at 35 yards, and can get better groups than that at 80 yards with my best springers. Hiring most of these guys is like a car factory hiring my grandmother to test a Ferrari, and they are both dead.
Love my break barrels for ease of use and fairly low cost. But am hoping for a umarex gauntlet in .25 for Xmas. Both have ups and downs. With airguns in particular it seems to be a give and take... Still waiting for the perfect all around airgun.
its so funny u guys bring up what i was thinking i own over 15 pcp big bore air rifles 50 cals 357s 30cals all mainly for home defense but i have more fun with my gamo 22 magnum with the 10 shot mag love it i carry 6 mags and a pocket full of pellets thats it and it can kill and defend !!! thats all i need..
Nice comparison video! Personally, I can't physically use a hand pump, so PCP for me would approx a $1K investment. However, That SIG has my interest peeked! I'm currently on a Diana 34, but thinking about making that leap to the SIG!! :)
The BSA Meteor Super is the best break barrel out now , its light at 3 kilos and deadly accurate at 50 yards ,a 100 yards with a bit practice and its just quality for only £360, and the more you use it the better it gets as you break the gun in
Apple's and oranges. Great video but I would tell people to start with the break barrel. Then move to the PCP. Theirs nothing like a accurate PCP. Nothing like it compared to a break barrel 😉
I'm not new to air, but I must say, job well done! You did make an error about the 30 yards because your screen said 35yards. Don't know which is true. Anyway, that's negligible.
I like both. I love my ASP20 and my old Gamo Hunter 880. But PCPs are definitely more accurate and faster for longer shots. I use my break barrels out to about 50 yds. Anything further and I’m using one of my PCPs.
@@bennonlapworth5026 I have an HW97 in .22. It is very accurate, but not enough velocity for long range (50+ meters) accuracy when compared to my Caiman X for instance. I love springers and gas piston air rifles, which is why I have more of them in my collection than anything else. To me they are more challenging, therefore more fun to shoot than PCPs. But I’ve shot long enough to come to grips with the pros and cons of both.
Don't forget about your scope after the initial gun price and pump either. But you don't need to search for scopes that can handle the double recoil from break barrels especially from the gamo swarm series so 🤷♂️
You cocked that break barrel like it wasn’t anything. The one I have takes some effort . At least 50 lbs of effort LoL. I ordered a .25 caliber and hopefully I’ll enjoy popping some crow .
You can increase your velocities up to 40% with a tiny drop of three in one oil in the back of them pellets on that break barrel you can reach speeds up to 1300 FPS I highly recommend this I’ve been using my same guns and dieseling them for years and still haven’t blown out a seal! And when you do blow a seal it’s very easy and inexpensive to replace. DIESEL YOU BREAK BARRELS AND HAVE 40% MORE FUN!
@@Wakkasmans not WD-40 3 in one oil and just a half of drop in the back of the pellets but it has to be a break barrel air rifle 1.7 or 22 cal! You can you use any combustible oil including maybe Vaseline or Vicks but three in one oil works best. You can totally tell the difference it goes through two sheetsof metal and sounds like a 22 ! You have to try it and remember just a tiny drop and if you get it to full just use a paper towel and go over it a couple times to absorb the excess. DO IT
😅 I find it amusing when you talk about recoil with an air rifle. When I was 9 and 10 years old I was shooting 12 gauge shotguns and 30-06 rifles. What I was wondering is what do you think about the difference between the 22 caliber air rifle and the 25 caliber air rifle pros and cons? I appreciate the contact me back and say a little something. I don't know how old this video is. I'm watching. Appreciate you getting back to me. I've been thinking about buying one
Used to Be pump-up or breakbarrel airguns. My old Benjamin (circa 79or 80 purchase) saw a lot of use and lasted til 2010. Worth th $40 or so paid back then. Thing is I see only break-barrel or PCPnow. Not a fan of break-barrels and PCP needs a special pump that almost makes me wince.
Break barrel any day. Only because I have a Gamo swarm magnum Gen 2 and although I'd like to try out a PCP rifle, it wouldn't come without serious red tape and a lot of money. Here in Christchurch NZ, one of the best PCP military style repeaters go up $5,000 NZ. Not to mention, you also need a firearms license to own one. So, without all the fuss, I'll stick with what have, and what I have, I like. Anyways, a PCP sounds like too much like..... impractical. Especially with having to deal with Co2 bottles etc. Awsome video m8.
I have the Crossman Quest Nite Ops 22caliber Air Rifle with upgraded scope Red Green radical with elevation lines and mildots with a Piney Lazer system
Very helpful, nver considered PCP as I have been borrowing a break barrel, but PCP for me, no recoil will mean the family can get in on the action squirrel hunting!
I have no idea why people say the recoil is heavy in any airgun. I found the best way to hold a springer, is to try not to put any forces in the stock that you don't have to. Touch it as little as possible, and your kids will be dropping squirrels. I even move my springers away from my shoulder and cheek, (just barely touch), because any differing force into the stock does affect the vibration dynamic of the gun. They are fun to learn how to shoot, and if anybody on YT won't to to 50 plus yards with them,--they are not a good shot with a springer. Nobody got a sore shoulder from the recoil of any mass produced airgun. But my arms do get a bit sore from cocking my mag springer. That is OK, I need the workout. :) With the Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN 2 .22 break barrel, I am sure I could take squirrel's to 80 yards and even more. You do need to be a good shot with them to do that though. Doug in Michigan.
I prefer a gun that does what it does without needing anything special to go along with it just so it can shoot. Do pcp guns develops leaks over time so they don’t hold air good ? I dont know though…to truly get my own fullh informed opinion on the matter, I’d have to own a pcp gun for a little while
My advice would be to buy a decent break barrel springer to begin with, they are less costly, less complicated and a bit more of a challenge to shoot accurately which helps you learn good marksmanship, to hold consistently and make your single shot count. PCPs are fantastic, recoilless, high power, easy to shoot accurately, multishot, adjustable etc etc but they can be quite costly, they require peripheral equipment, they can develop leaks over time and require servicing. High pressure air must be treated with respect for safety reasons, your hoses, fittings and tanks and must be kept in good condition or replaced. With a break barrel (after sighting it in and testing a selection of pellets to find which ones group best) you can simply grab some pellets and go shooting.
Simple, if you want to learn to shoot properly buy a springer, if you want to get bored and quit the hobby within 2 year's buy a PCP...54 year's shooting springers, shot a pcp and hated it.
Great comparison video with two Moderately priced rifles w/ scopes ($200+) for about $650. Great shooting also. I wonder if the New barrel band now promised by Umarex would make the Gaunlet even more accurate? Great job presenting both sides of the challenge. "You are definitely one fair minded and honest individual." For the price there is one more choice for an air rifle which does not get a lot of press. The ATI Nova Freedom / Seneca Aspen pump PCP rifle. Wish you had the chance to do a long term (reliability) review on that rifle. Keep up the great reviews and hard work!!!
it would only be fair it he showed hand pumping the Guntlet I wanted to see that, as I heard it would take 60 + pumps and at 74 not good, but if thy came out with better pumps, sense then would be nice to see.
Had the SIG. After 2 years it started shooting WAY high. Scope was replaced, same issue. Send the SIG back to the factory. They said it was not fixable, barrel was misaligned.
I shoot break barrel and PCP. At closer distance the break barrel is amazing (Walther LGV) but past 40 to 45 Yard's well?? As long as I do my part. PCP I'll be shooting Dead on 50 to 65 Yard's no problem at all. Again it comes down to distance 👍
The Umarex Gauntlet is not for left handers. I looked at both the Umarex Gauntlet & the Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN 2 they both seamed to be excellent guns. The deciding factor was the Gauntlet was not ambidextrous. I need a left handed gun, I am blind in my right eye!
Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN 2: I have had mine for only a week, and my confidence level is already as high as working on a springer for 3 months. In the right hands, I think it can out shoot some PCP guys to 100 yards. It also probably has the flattest trajectory of any springer made, (of any cal.), and I think makes more power than quite a few .22 cal. PCP guns. I find that gun to be----AWESOME! :) I don't see a need for a PCP gun with a .22 cal or smaller anymore.
Why did you not show pumping up the Guntlet with a hand pump, I heard it took a lot of pumping. If you are going to do a comparison do the hole thing. Could make a difference in what people get.
I enjoy your program and was wondering if the Right-hand cocking may be a slight factor impacting accuracy. It is observable your upper strength is healthy. just for the heck try cocking with your Left hand....and see if anything changes....your Right upper body does unusual motions that the Left side does not when using a break barrel. Blood and other body fluids combined with muscle/joints sudden ...cocking motions.....could impact right index muscle control, right index finger surface sensitivity, and the post cocking motion kinesthetic skills......it would be interesting....thanks again Samuel Joseph Bell

I have 3 Gamo break barrels. 1300, 1420, and 1650 fps! Love them, very fast and easy extremely accurate! Great for money and purposes!
Hi I want to by a gamo brand .22 witch one do you recomen me
1650fps!? even from an alloy .177 pellet thats crazy impressive! how much was the rifle??
I also have the Gamo 1420, and 1650 fps. Gamo rocks it! Extremely fast, accurate and durable firearms! PCP can’t even get close to the fps at this present time, and who wants to pump air into the gun after many shots?!
@@davidpollak7708 thats legend! Im going to put that model on my wish list!
Get a decent springer, tune it a bit, will last a long time. Then you get bit by the bug and buy another, and another and start discussions on forums about trigger assemblies etc. haha good stuff.
Loving the Gauntlet paint job. Excellent video - super informative. I've been considering a PCP for a while - great endorsement here!
With country side like that I would love to do my shooting there. Beautiful and I am envious.
Love my .22 cal sig asp20!
Wish it had sling mounts. Sorta heavy to lug. Using a Hawk scope. Works great!
Great video thanks for sharing.
I chose break barrel every time though.
I have a Walther Parrus .22 cal break barrel. Accurate and hits hard. Does everything I need it to do and is self contained with no need for tanks or refills.
Both. Air arms 400 classic in . 22, weirauch Hw77K in . 177.
Everything covered.
I agree that a big disadvantage of a PCP is the “bomb” you are carrying around, 4000 psi is f’kin scary!
Also every 3-4 years you have to replace o rings...but the tank pressure on the gun and the scuba tank is really scary....
Meh, the volume is relatively low, even if compressed to 220/240 bar.
A PRV set to just above the working pressure on the cylinder should be absolutely fine.
Treat your cylinder in terms of maintenance as you would any pressure vessel..
Hey but there's a few channels out their on utube of people trying to destroy hpa cylinders. I wouldn't worry to much it's amazing what they can take.
Its fps instead kph
Well it depends on habbits id take my shirt off and put it on the floor if i dont have a towel vefore setting my rifle down
It's pretty clear the PCP has more accuracy. But the break barrel is good for simplicity and for most people.
I'd recommend break barrel for beginners cheaper accurate to reasonable distances and no pump or compressor to deal with. You treat it right and almost never will throw it out. After you gain some experience end just decide you want more range you can buy a pcp
Effing with compressed air is such a pain in the ass, I'd take a .22 or .25 caliber break barrel any day.
Pcp all day for newbies...less of a learning curve. Good video.
Nice video, you should put some link where to buy
Bought a break barrel for myself and its great. HW 50s that is
the best break barrel out now and deadly accurate and screams quality when ya hold it and it weighs 3 kilos is the BSA Meteor Super , it comes with a spring in the UK and gas ram technology in the USA GRT
I’m brand new to air rifles… the more research I do, the more I’m leaning toward break barrel.
They seem to be much more price friendly for entry level/beginner.
Brilliant!
I will try harder and stick with my old HW80k
it's all about that naughty recoil.
I've loved break barrels since my first one thirty yrs ago.
The sound of the Gauntlet 👍
Well when I have around $800.00 bucks to spare thats ruffle what I figure it's going to cost me to get into a Umarex Gauntlet plus ammo and a good pump owe don't forget scope not happening it's the Gamo swarm Magnum gen 2 thats my pick
Great video thanks for taking your time on this topic. Quick question, may I ask what kind of chronograph are you using?
Ben, Great comparison and review. I myself have always been a springer guy.
After reading comments here. I will go for PCP. I'm new to these so it will be my 1st buy. Just need to do research my country has draconian laws
Weihrauch HW50s the last airgun I’ll ever own. Love it
Very interesting.... I have the gauntlet 22 & 25.... I was thinking about the SIG...no! Thanks for sharing
Not many guys on YT can really shoot a springer well, which is why they only do 20-30 yards. I sight mine in at 35 yards, and can get better groups than that at 80 yards with my best springers. Hiring most of these guys is like a car factory hiring my grandmother to test a Ferrari, and they are both dead.
the way u hold a springer is very important.. and of course the trigger
Love my break barrels for ease of use and fairly low cost. But am hoping for a umarex gauntlet in .25 for Xmas. Both have ups and downs. With airguns in particular it seems to be a give and take... Still waiting for the perfect all around airgun.
Don't X out Christ in Christmas. That's appeasing the liberals.
@@PaleFace1974 it appeasing the satanic ANTI-CHRIST new world order, and THEY have flooded all aspects of our lives, included politics on both sides
its so funny u guys bring up what i was thinking i own over 15 pcp big bore air rifles
50 cals
357s
30cals
all mainly for home defense
but i have more fun with my gamo 22 magnum with the 10 shot mag
love it i carry 6 mags and a pocket full of pellets thats it
and it can kill and defend !!!
thats all i need..
If you dont have Access to a compressor...then springer. The Gamo repeater is a personal dream of mine!
Nice comparison video! Personally, I can't physically use a hand pump, so PCP for me would approx a $1K investment. However, That SIG has my interest peeked! I'm currently on a Diana 34, but thinking about making that leap to the SIG!! :)
Yo! Im also using the Diana mod 34, Im using the late 90's model.
I bought both 22s gamo Magnum and a air avenger . Each one for it's purpose.
Nice comparison.. Awesome video and awesome choice...
I would like to get the break barrel
The BSA Meteor Super is the best break barrel out now , its light at 3 kilos and deadly accurate at 50 yards ,a 100 yards with a bit practice and its just quality for only £360, and the more you use it the better it gets as you break the gun in
Hello and thanks for the video, what kind of chronograph were you using?
Underlevers are just as accurate
@@bennonlapworth5026 I have an HW97 in .22. It is very accurate, but not enough velocity for long range (50+ meters) accuracy when compared to my Caiman X for instance. I love springers and gas piston air rifles, which is why I have more of them in my collection than anything else. To me they are more challenging, therefore more fun to shoot than PCPs. But I’ve shot long enough to come to grips with the pros and cons of both.
Great comparison video. I think fatigue was beginning to set in with the break-barrel. Bang-on accuracy NTL
EACH have advantages, but for Apple to Apple accuracy test, possibly RESET rifle on PCP versus just a bolt action cycle
Don't forget about your scope after the initial gun price and pump either. But you don't need to search for scopes that can handle the double recoil from break barrels especially from the gamo swarm series so 🤷♂️
I would like to see to velocity of the heavier pellets in both guns....
You cocked that break barrel like it wasn’t anything. The one I have takes some effort . At least 50 lbs of effort LoL. I ordered a .25 caliber and hopefully I’ll enjoy popping some crow .
need both but i love the pcp for shooting stuff
You can increase your velocities up to 40% with a tiny drop of three in one oil in the back of them pellets on that break barrel you can reach speeds up to 1300 FPS I highly recommend this I’ve been using my same guns and dieseling them for years and still haven’t blown out a seal! And when you do blow a seal it’s very easy and inexpensive to replace. DIESEL YOU BREAK BARRELS AND HAVE 40% MORE FUN!
I have to try this
Hi im not familiar with english word. Diesel mean diesel oil or anything oil like wd40?
@@Wakkasmans not WD-40 3 in one oil and just a half of drop in the back of the pellets but it has to be a break barrel air rifle 1.7 or 22 cal! You can you use any combustible oil including maybe Vaseline or Vicks but three in one oil works best. You can totally tell the difference it goes through two sheetsof metal and sounds like a 22 ! You have to try it and remember just a tiny drop and if you get it to full just use a paper towel and go over it a couple times to absorb the excess. DO IT
@@troypowell2403 we don't have that in Europe. Any alternative brand
Thank you
Very informative
Break barrel or bottle fed modification. Is it coming? 😊
Can you please let me know what is the brand of the cronograph.. you used... thanks...
With the Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN 2 .22 break barrel, I am sure I could take squirrel's to 80 yards and even more. You do need to be a good shot with them to do that though.
Doug in Michigan.
I prefer a gun that does what it does without needing anything special to go along with it just so it can shoot. Do pcp guns develops leaks over time so they don’t hold air good ?
I dont know though…to truly get my own fullh informed opinion on the matter, I’d have to own a pcp gun for a little while
Would u say a pcp is good self defense in a situation where it’s all you have
My advice would be to buy a decent break barrel springer to begin with, they are less costly, less complicated and a bit more of a challenge to shoot accurately which helps you learn good marksmanship, to hold consistently and make your single shot count.
Always great content
PCP to how much.?
Wished you resett the Chrono for the break barrel one :(
I shoot break barrel and PCP. At closer distance the break barrel is amazing (Walther LGV) but past 40 to 45 Yard's well?? As long as I do my part. PCP I'll be shooting Dead on 50 to 65 Yard's no problem at all. Again it comes down to distance 👍
Great video! Thank you
A PCP boat sounds like a crazy party. Horse tranquilizers FTW
Break barrel pistons are hard on scopes.
Blood and other body fluids combined with muscle/joints sudden ...cocking motions.....could impact right index muscle control, right index finger surface sensitivity, and the post cocking motion kinesthetic skills......it would be interesting....thanks again Samuel Joseph Bell
whats the grain or gram of this rws hobby .22 cal pellet that you were shooting in this video?
Good shooting Brother
