I’ve had this same adapter for around a year now and think it’s great as I didn’t want to fork out for another compatible wheel for my XSX as I’m a casual sim racer on my ps5. Just this past week I hooked it up to my switch and was happy that I could use my set up to drive the Mario kart live circuit karts around my house.

I was going to get it, but the drivehub is limited since it is not compatible with the ps5 and it wasn't compatible with my wheel, I'll try to get my hands on one and make a video
Drivehub works on my ps5 I’m using a fanatec dd2 on ps5 with hori mini gamepad works perfectly. GT7 sees it as podium DD. Even steering wheel leds work
yep. dirt is a weird case for trying out ffb. even directly conected. it is catering to more gamepad type audience. as for details in wheels ffb, i can only confirm most devs are using just logitechs api for ffb translation as its most compatible with a lot of titles and platforms. Maybe some things in details get lost duringf translation of ffb thru that. Also i do believe camus is not exactly known for high resolution wheels, so theres that. It mosly just comes down to how wheels are phisicaly made - cog/belt vs direct drive, has some play probably also.. Thing is, you need accurate pedals more than a overpriced dd wheel. One you can rely either on braking certain corners by certain force or by lenght of the press. whichever you preffer. thats where extra time is. e: also Gt was always a good ffb tester for most wheels. Dirt on the other hand needed some special care to get ffb in order.. even on my budget g29, which most ppl would just use out of the box.

I made a GIMX adapter for my pc (if I can make one anyone can )and along side drivehub I can use my VRS DD and GSI rim with my Huisinkveld sprints . Works fine on my PS5 with any wheel and any pedals.
Great review. I'm just thinking, Is this aimed at people who have already spent $$££ on a sim setup and want to use a console, or someone that has a console and wants to spend on a better SIM setup? I think if I had spend on a SIM wheel and pedals investing in a PC probably would not be a massive issue.
Its a half Solution and works somehow but i've played with MOZA R5 on PS5. There is some FFB but almost no details. i would not recommend such Adapter Solutions. With a Fanatec GT DD Pro you can Play on every Plattform
an ok video. Though im not sure why you opted to put your own closed captioning into the video which is cheezy and distracting. If I want closed captioning, I can simply hit one button on youtube and boom there it is.
@sessmaar I understand trying something new and nothing wrong with it. Ive seen others do it too. I just found it distracting as I'm trying to decide on this adapter or to get a playstation specific wheel. It's a tough choice.
Hey! Yes the c5 has a mobile app. And everything you set there will stay on the wheel. So you can tweak the settings both on the wheel and the Ras1ution
So I bought the resol1ution for ps4 and Moza sep pedals. I plugged my fanatec wheel separately into the ps4 and the peddles through the resolu1tion into the ps4 yet they won’t work. I also tried plugging my wheel in the reso1ution but it won’t work either. Any advice as to what I’m doing wrong ?

well, if someone has a non console wheelbase and pedal set, they are highly likely to have a capable pc which in that case simhub now supports GT7 as long as you open that port (as well a a ps5, which the sim racer will also likely have)
Well the PS5 compatible fanatec is jacked up to $799.00 cause its licensure to PS5 and the PC fanatec is around $399.00 so yeah I would buy the PC one and run it on my PS5 and I do not have a gaming PC
I think that's just for telemetry so you can get bass shakers and a standalone display for fuel map and tires etc. You'll still need a compatible wheel or an adaptor like this.
Just to confirm, can you mix hardware? Example: Logitech wheel with Simagic pedals? I purchased the Logitech G Pro wheel and pedals to play GT7 on PS5 about a year ago. I recently built a beat PC to play IRacing and upgraded my pedals to Simagic. I want to play GT7 again but can’t as the pedals aren’t supported. Is this a solution? Thanks in advance bro.

This product is not that great....use the collective minds Drivehub USB adapter...it (the wheel you use) feels the exact same as it does on PC

That's right, the feel on dirt wasn't that great even with a native wheel such as the Logitech ones. But it really isn't a game that I play at all

It is definitely not cheap at all. I went for this option because it supports the wheel I own but this is not my go to, I mainly play on PC

I did, but again is not the greatest feeling. But it feels more heavy while steering. Not sure if it is the FFB software on GT7

Everything should work fine, except for the shifter. If you wanted to used the shifter it would have to be plugged into the wheelbase unfortunately

Yep. That is something you can do. I currently run my C5 with TLCM pedals no issues

You can definitely do that. You'll need to connect everything to the device and play GT7 no problem

Depends on the pedals, but most standalone units would work as well. I have the TLCM connected and no problems
