Sim gaming in general is dangerous. You start with a simple consumer grade flightstick, and before you know it, you're coveting full cockpit simulations and calculating how big pneumatic pistons you need for g-force emulation.
That feeling you're explaining with the C5 in GT7 is like what I feel with my thrust master t300 in GT7. There's very little feeling in the force feedback in GT7 with my t300. It feels like mostly lots of dampening and center spring
I have been useing this combo C5 and Ras1lution2 for 3 months. in the begining I was just happy it works. So I startet looking on youtube for FF setings and would absolutly disagree with you right now. PS5, C5 and PSVR2 with GT7 and the right settings is absolutly awesome.
You need it to emulate a NeGcon but Sony need to also add that to their emulator on PS4. Daga! if brook could make it output retro wheels to one of their console adapters like the Wingman PS2 then you could play RR 4 on original hardware with a Cammus wheel.
I enjoyed this video and its given me some things to think about. The wheel and brook adapter are interesting, I like that they seem to provide a higher level of experience for casual sim racers than compared to the other entry offerings on console. I own an EG hatch that is B18c (1996) swapped and the budget sims I've tested are nothing like the car and is mainly the reason why I havent invested in one. Brook adapters are pretty great, I use one one with my PS2 to use DS4 controllers and never had issues.
Sim racing is a slippery slope. An expensive one. In the last two months I’ve spent over $10k on my rig. And that’s excluding the cost of the 4090 I bought to run my triples. So much fun though.
I purchased the CAMMUS C5 + CAMMUS LC-100 3-pedal product. However, when I connect it to the PS5 using Ras1ution 2, the wheel works fine but the LC-100 pedal is not recognized at all. So, I emailed Brook and received the following response. “The Ras1ution 2 currently only supports the CAMMUS C5 bundled pedal, not the CAMMUS LC-100. We have not tested it yet and will ask the development team to evaluate if we can purchase and add support for it.”
you need to chnge the ffb settings on a cammus wheel, using the pc, id imagine it saves those settings onboard then when you plug into a console it should have new settings
Hi, looking to purchase the Ras1ution2 for my Moza R5, but i’ve recently heard that it doesn’t work anymore on PS5 as i heard a recent patch updated the console so that you are unable to use these adapters on the console anymore, is this true? thankyou. I also heard there were issues with FFB, any input on this? Love the video.
I used drivehub before to get g25 to work on ps4, and not sure how it'll do on ps5. it disconnected randomly though, which got annoying. I feel like if you are getting the the thousands of dollar range, its time to just save up to upgrade your own car, and go do some track/drift days, autocross, etc. But I guess its always cheaper to sim race and not worry about wearing out car, tires, gas, etc.
@@NihongoGamer stock miata is one of the fastest autocross cars. but most people who do those, do it more for fun, than to get fastest competitive lap times, especially at first. so mx5 is fine without upgrades just to try
Could you try it on Xbox with Forza? I'm interested in the cammus and I have both consoles and a PC... If it works with all three, I'll buy the wheel and the Ras1ution. Thank you.
Could i ask some advice please . I have the cammus c5 wheel and Cammus LC100 pedals. I bought the Raslution 2 adaptor from Brooks to use them on the ps5. It recognises the wheel but not the pedals. Im putting the wheel usb in port 1 and pedals in port 2. Any help would be much appreciated
I have it I try to use it on ps4 and is bad bad bad poor feedback control, it peaks force feedback uncontrollably so bad that it broke a pin in my Fanatec steering wheel Drive hub does the job BIG BUT… it’ll work only for a few weeks if you plan to use it as your main every day it won’t take you there, collective minds only gives 3 months warranty, and it stops working as soon as the warranty expires Materials are cheap as hell made in china literally it says it in the back Customer service is the worse They don’t have a data base for their sold product, they want you show receipt to repair or fix, WHO DA HELL KEEPS RECEIPTS NOW DAYS This technology is still to be developed

and I did in the past. More than 15k dollars in sim.....now with babies all is over

I wish I knew sooner :(
I updated the last version of Brook Ras1ution2 but GT7 does not see my wheel on Ps5 pro so... now ?

Hey! This is the exact setup I'm looking into. Could you link the video with FF settings for the C5? Thanks in advance!
And the setings on the Ras1lution2 FFB 10
So the latest update fixed the issue mentioned in the video?
I dont have any issues
Good to know! Can you post the FF settings you used? I’d love to try it and make an update if necessary!

What about C12 ?

my friend was driving my new Cammus c5 on christmas for about 3 hours.. now he say he cant play anymore on his g29. ^^ the ffb is x5
I'm guessing the NeGcon and JogCon can't use this adapter for modern games like Gran Tourismo 7 then huh? I have a PS2 wheel collecting dust here.
Wish I had one to test it. I never sold my original one from 1999 but it’s probably super buried in storage. I think they’re pretty rare used.

Thanks for the update! Hopefully they make it compatible!
Brook is testing C12 and LC100, it will be available for compatible soon.
@@CAMMUSofficial That's great news. It's been a month since then, so could you let me know when we can expect an update?

I wonder what happens if you connect an arcade stick to this thing and have it on dpad mode.
That would be fun to try lol
@@NihongoGamer Let us know if it works or not.
Great video, great info. But seeing that you don't use your g29 anymore, are you willing to send it to me for my Ps5 ? Blessings.

Bro you can adjust the dead zone on the app or the gadget itself
I personly have no disconects,
