I honestly love how ridiculously over the top and anime these attacks are with the incredibly well done animations. My favorite one is Zeke and Pandoria’s level 4 special
Both of Rex/Pyra/Nia's (particularly their second one) specials and Rex/Pneuma's are my favorites. There's just something about the way they're animated and I love how Rex dual wields in the former's case.

Love how each driver got their own intro scene and battle music, and then XC1 and XCX each had their own segments even if the latter only had one blade. After finishing the blades from the main game, I couldn't help but think that one was missing. Felt so good to see her saved for the very end. That said, I somehow forgot the absolute last one somehow despite being the True Ultimate. I'm sad that one of Nia's combination specials is so much lamer than the other because it's the only one I ended up seeing because I ain't got time to switch to Pyra!
Yeah Xenoblade 2 is still the best Xenoblade when it comes to the animations and the quantity of them. The combat spectacle of Xenoblade 2 is simply INSANE

Finally a video of Kora's level four with Nia as the driver. I love how they have the same pose and I frankly can't imagine using Kora with anyone else.
A fun thing to note about blade designs in this game is that all the common and rare blades have visible ether lines, while legendary blades almost all have invisible ones (Poppi and Aegaeon being exceptions). This means that level 3 and 4 specials are the only place you can see the placement of most of the main blade characters' ether lines. Additionally, none of the blade characters in Torna ever have visible ether lines during specials, which is interesting lore-wise. I guess it is generally agreed that the modern blade-driver fighting style is stronger, maybe it's to do with that.
the only thing this is missing is roc's lvl 4 with vandham it would be a pain to play through chapter 3 to get him (especially since 2 doesn't have multiple saves), but the perfectionist in me can't help but notice
i think the only ng+ locked content is the torna blades and pnuema lv 4, all others are avaiible in first run if yur willing to grind the cores for them although t-elos is only avalible after main story completion

its pretty easy to miss that you can do this as the game only mentions it after the amalthus fight and if you continue through the door without back tracking the next segment removes both from your party for a few fights during the illusion segment so its easy to forget its a thing
From all that now to this lastly for Nia with Rex & Pyra/Mythra or him with Pneuma, Sniffs... 😢😄 Truly Awesome now Beautiful eventually... Best way to end it here for the presentation. XD
I diddnt know the main blades(brighid Dromach pandoria)had unique level 4s with rex since I mostly kept them on them the others while I used pyra/mythra azami and nia I diddnt know the team level 4 is different if you activate it on pyra
Completely disagree, Rex perfectly fits the role he was meant for in the game. He's a optimistic young kid, who doesn't see the world as nihilistically as everyone else around him. It fits the story really well. His outfit is also just really unique, it tells you a lot about the world he comes from and what he does for ta living. He could have just as easily had a generic anime protagonist outfit, but I think this helps him to stand out even if it is a little goofy.
No matter what you say. His outfit is pure garbage. Even the one Pneuma kits him in. No melee fighter in any situation would fight with head cauldron hanging from their neck. XBC2 was the most "anime" out of all of them.

Super disappointing that Xenoblade 3 had no cool attacks like these.
I mean the animations in the chain attacks when you get 100% and above are sorta like this just a bit shorter.

There are also the Talent Arts which are so much harder to see and I'd argue even cooler than most Chain Orders, and possibly even more powerful.

shame theres no nia+mythra combo, you can still activate the nia+pyra on nia if mythras out but trying it while using mythra just does her solo lv 4
