This vehicle was over engineered for its age, and was years ahead of time. The quality and craftsmanship of the build it is unmatched to most vehicles of that time. One of the best old Infiniti car's I can afford.
I've still got mine since new. Loving it as much as when I bought it. Prefer driving it over my wife's audi s7. Note that the transmission starts in 2nd unless you floor it. Starting in 1st you're spinning tires all the time. LOVE MY Q.

A friend of mine had this car in 1990 and man was it nice. The acceleration was quiet and smooth as butter. Excellent road tripping car.

The only issue with the first gen of the q45 was the air suspensión and electrical issues after sittings years
Fuel injectors would go bad on the phase 1s.

Plastic timing guiding rides. They easy to break after going over 5 and a half RPM.

Nah, this was much cooler than any LS400.
They OUTSOLD them, but the LS400 I assure you did not “beat the hell out of this car” 😉
The Q45 engine has a better engine performance wise.
