The M45 was gorgeous! I always sought out weird and obscure cars because I HATE driving a car that is a common sight on the road. I bought a Q45t years ago not knowing much about Infiniti. Unfortunately the car had a lot of issues so I spent a lot of time on forums trying to fix them. I learned a lot about Infiniti during that time and that's how I became aware of the M45. Got my 04 g35 coupe 6 speed with the brembos 7 years ago off the original owner with 30k miles. Got 90k on it now and still going strong. The amount of people that ask me about it is crazy. Have times really changed this much
I just thought of a funny story. I purchased my 2005 G35 new. My friend at work had a 2004 G35 with the sport package. This was before the "S" designation came out. The early sport packages had the brembos. For 2005 the sport package came with asymmetrical 19" rims. I searched SoCal for a manual. Only about 3% of the G35s being produced were manual. The manuals were being sold at a premium. I find my car. Test drive an automatic because they did not allow test drives on the manuals. I go to a parking lot and peel the wrapping off of my car which had never even been test driven. I get home and it was several days before I realized that I did not have Brembos! I thought there was a mistake. Then after some research on the internet I found that they had dropped the brembos due to too many complaints about the fast brake pad wear. In 2009 I got rid of the car for about $18k. This was a few thousand less than the wholesale price on the automatics because the dealers did not want to deal with manuals because nobody was buying. Let's not forget that I paid about $3k more than an automatic when purchasing it for the manual option. Five years later, around 2015 I happen to be in an Infiniti dealer looking around and considering an FX for my wife when I see a sign in which the dealer is actively looking for a 2003-2006 G35 manual and is willing to pay $25k!

2003 version looks the best to me. So much character.
I've owned a J30, an I30, and an M45. All of them were awesome. If I could find another 2004 M45 with low miles... I would 100% snatch that up.
Owned a 2006 M35. Man that was a nice car. These are so slept on. JDM Market name is Nissan Fuga. Had the opportunity to buy an 04 M45. But couldn't give up the 06 at the time. Probably the nicest car I've owned. Now have a 2017 2SS Camaro that is a tad more feature rich. But yeah 12 yrs newer.
It was only at half way through the video when i noticed the the black ops theme song 🤣 nice vid
I love the MW2 theme music in the background
I fell in love with the looks, but never in a position to buy one!
Man I wanted this car so bad when it came out but I was young and couldn't afford it but I eventually ended up getting the 2011 m56 when it dropped. That 2004 Infiniti m45 was the best of them all
You are so correct! The 2004 M45 was ahead of its time. The styling was unique and that V8 engine was very powerful. Felt like I was driving a sports car!
@@350zlover2 honestly I still debate buying one just to have because I wanted it so bad. I remember going to the lot and sitting in it like damn I need this but reality hit. White fully loaded with black interior for me
@@392_RHINO I understand, I was lucky enough to own a white 2004 model. I traded in my 2002 Mazda Millennia for it. I enjoyed the vehicle for several years and I ended up selling it for a Lexus. I have been a Lexus/ Toyota guy since but I do miss that M45. I also had a mint condition J30 that I sold as well.
@@350zlover2 man you're taking me back to the Mazda malinia and the Mazda 929. That 929 is another I wanted because of that bubble shape
That last generation of M was one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
Hey that's my car at 0:18 lol. Yaaaay I'm famous
still the most elegant looking and imo best looking Infiniti.
M56 S all wheel drive 🤤
Got my 04 g35 coupe 6 speed with the brembos 7 years ago off the original owner with 30k miles. Got 90k on it now and still going strong. The amount of people that ask me about it is crazy. Have times really changed this much
They’re really cool cars I want one so bad but I got the z instead lol
Great Vid! Just minor correction @2:48 you mentioned VR30(This is from Q50/Q60/New Z) , I think you mean't VG30, cheers!
Love the jungle camp black ops 1 music. Had flashbacks
I love the BO1 background music!
Loveed my 09 g35 and my 2015 3.7 q 50 and now my 2011 m37x
I remember being a kid and wanting this car .. you can’t even find this car now ..
I think that’s Iman Shumpert at the 6:51 mark.
Great video! I ❤ my Q70L 5.6
One of your best videos yet - I buy and fix and sell these cars in florida I’ve had 4-6 m35s and about 10 g35s so I can definitely say unbiasedly that they are great cars JUST KEEP OIL IN THEM AND CHANGE THE 3 SEALS & WATCH YOUR TRANNY FLUID LEVELS IF YOUR AUTO
Yep best IAA flippers
@@jordanrodriguez5043 you're joking, right?

The Y33 Leopard you actually show in your video is my car! Lol! I bought it from Driver Motorsports. 💪
A house near me always has a super clean silver J30 parked out front
Still loving my 09 m45x...
You forgot the IMPUL FUGA, which was essentially sold in Japan as a new car. Its had the 4.5L V8 pushed to 360HP with forged internals.
Block ops 1 baby🤟 wicked sound track
