Thank you for the videos you do, I recently came back to DotA and as someone who used to love patch notes/pro gameplay your channel has been amazing to catch back up with everything and learn.
At 4:10ish, he didn't max Bushwhack that game because he's going against Mars and Batrider. Both destroy trees so bushwhack is pretty useless. I also usually leave 1 point into it for TP canceling, but will run 4-1-4 against heroes with natural tree destroying spells.
More like Bush is just an ass skill to max compared to Acorn Shot which scales really good early game. The only thing that goes better with Bush level ups is its damage and stun duration which isn't even that much (0.2 per level) and CD still remains meanwhile Acorn Shot CD decreases per level up and you get more bounces (more damage) especially considering its synergy with blight stone.
1 less bounce with alt cast. alt cast acorn doesn't hit the nearest unit first but randomly decides the target in 525 radius of tree which sometimes can go bad. If you always want to plant a tree to use bushwhack then alt cast is good for you but there are times when you don't want to use bushwhack, just wanna use acorn on 2 heroes to deal crazy damage in that case alt cast is not good option.
yes it can reveal wards. either left click on gem and then select the area u want to activate it on OR simply press the gem key (whichever item slot your gem is on) and activate it on the area u want to.

is there a downside in not using alt cast acorn? i dont see the reason why u would not activate it
