I’m 4k and I’ve never considered half pulling to be a thing. I’m definitely implementing that. I’ve done it before but only on accident. I normally don’t pull much unless I have the small camp stacked, this changes that
Hello my friend, I appreciate the love you inject in your videos. I feel like you glimpsed over some important stuff that you may or may not know, but I didint hear them in the video (tbh i jumped some parts so forgive me) so allow me to communicate them to you as a gift of gratitude : 1) Lane equilibrium basically the best lane would be to keep your carry in the armor/heal AOE of the tower while having the ennemy big camp block and moving the creep equilibrium for objectives (runes, ganks, lotus, kills) and resetting the equilibrium infront of the tower by pulling. To know if a lane will move, you have to count the difference of creeps of both team. If there is a desequilibrium, you want to proceed kill 2 creeps more than the difference of equilibrium, as there is a lag between the killing and the progressive process of desequilibrium. This is what pulling is used for : to kill that amount of creeps. You can either do "half pulls" by pulling a limited amount of creeps, ou stack for a full clearance. The closer you get to that flow, the better the theoric laning stage will be. Of course, stuff happens that will disrupt that perfect idea, but the closer you get to that, the better the early game will be. 2) Whole game plannification : know the flow of the game. This needs alot of experience, but when you know when are the powerspikes of your team and the ennemy team, you know when to play defensive, evasive or aggressive. 3) keep track of the ennemy team movements and items (especially supports) : To call out loud heroes missing in action and their general direction usually tell your team which area to avoid or how much time they got left in that area. As the principal "vision keeper" of the team (and the guy who is the most often dead xd), it's usually the pos 5 who do that. Keeping track of supports ward supply is crucial for the whole vision game. One omega trick i can give you is that if you select an ennemy portrait, you can see if he put a wards in the 3 seconds after he goes in fog. You can fallow how many wards he put after going out of fog, which is usually accurate. This will there you where is the ennemy team vision and therefore where to put wards carefully. As tracking ennemy items, that will allow you what to do in fight or when to avoid them. 4) Vision is time, not space : by knowing where the next encounter will happen or which area you want to control, you can put down vision minutes before a fights break down which give you a huge avantage on the vision game and for the incoming fight. High efficient visions are good for fights that are about to break down, not for futur fights. One type of vision that i never heard of but i think is super important is "teamfight vision". Even before the fight goes down, drop the best ward and sentry you can. It will give huge information as the fight stretch around the zone, but mostly around that spot. the ward might be "bad" but it's instant value will be crazy if not dewarded instantneouly. And still, it ask 4 hit from an hero to deward which is a good fight contribution by itself. One last type of vision is the "rune vision". As the game developp in later stage, runes will get more and more benefices, power spikes. If picked up undetected or picked up over and over, runes past min 20 have a huge impact. TLDR
This is a very good guide. Definitely worth coming back to over time as it covers a lot and as advised it’s best to implement and work on one thing at a time.
Thanks a lot! I just recently started playing dota and this helps a lot! I think i found a trick to get out of MMR hell. Pick CM and ask pos 4 2 and 3 to pick lane dominators. Level your aura at lvl 2 and focus on pulling. This allows for 2 won lanes and strong midgame that can enable your pos 1 to freefarm. With only 450 games played i just reached archon using this and an omni strat that sadly doesnt work anymore since the omni rework.
i remember when sonneiko hit 9k or 8k i think as a support back then. Now u. And u are just a content creator but u are so skilled, i hope some team sign u soon.
you mentioned two options if you don't out trade the enemy support in lane: 1) you can play on opposite side and harass their core, or 2) you trade with the support inefficiently and try to make up for it by shipping out more consumable regen. What indicators dictate which of these approaches you take?
it's always good to keep pos4 busy ( trading ) so carry can farm without any sort of pressure. If pos4 is strong and he doesn't let the core stay in lane ( constant pressure from auto attacks ) for example techies has good magical damage + physical damage, melee core won't be able to deal with this damage, in that case go and trade with techies and become Carry's shield. If enemy pos4 isn't able to deal much harass to carry to threaten him then you can play on opposite side. The point is you've to make it easy for core.
Amazing video, I feel like I'm learning an obscene amount from this. Although I do have one question: at 22:25 did you mean to say Radiant team (and Dire a few seconds earlier)? All the context surrounding that seems to suggest you did mean to (Like that being the opposite side of the map you'd mostly be playing on early as Dire), but you are playing as Dire in the lobby so I'm honestly not sure.
actually forget about radiant or dire, if you're close to those spots, place vision there, works for both radiant and dire because the purpose is same.
and what if you are losing lane and you go to other lane and it turns out that your move made that lane to lose too. but if you stayed in lost lane then the other lane would be won cause its winning lane so why go to a winning lane to win it better and faster ?
Generally after 5 mins both supports should try to play together. 5 to 10 mins is night time and heroes have less vision so if both supports move on map together they can make the early game better for their team. If you're going to an already won lane and making it lose then you're just making huge blunders. Go to a winning lane and take the tower. It opens up the map for your team.

Best support hero to main right now? (Preferably someone you can play as 4 or 5)
pugna
thanks!

I just hit 4k and want to improve more.
Loving the content. Your Discord invite appears to be invalid though.

Do you play with a party? because It is so hard to play support even playing right. I just have stupid teamates
I play solo. You have stupid enemies as well, take advantage of that.
hmmm ty ❤
I'm gonna soundboard "Because you are so tilted"
xD

min 8:07 ... what is chen courier doing :DD
at 5:19 how did he root 3 enemies without scepter?? I only started playing last month so bear with me
crystal maiden's shard. It roots in an area upon explosion.
Shard and you can use your q on the ground to pop it 😊
I love this game, but I'm support and i swear its a weekly thing that the game makes me feel i wanna uninstall.... tell me it gets better T-T
pick strong meta supports to have more control over the game and don't play when you're getting tilted, you'll feel good + grind some mmr as well
Is jakiro pos 5 bad for lane?
no
@@AhsanDota no, not bad or bad mmr 5800
@@ehabnaji1672 jakiro pos 5 is decent. it's a strong lane dominating support
any way you can get someone else to do the voice over?
discord: ahsan_2
I would appreciate it if you could connect and help with figuring stuff out.
well done m8, best guide in 2024
thanks!
First.
I hear I know where you come from
Raindrop too ex9ensive
I rather buy more tango and pot
Raindrop only useful to urself, while tango andnpot can actually help ur core
