I just put up a video going over my thoughts on the Ultra after almost 2 years of ownership - no production quality, but anyone interested in building up the Ultra specifically might find it interesting
I like the light blue! Nice ride but an ass saver is definitely needed! Meanwhile i preferred frame bags! But i was also confused about the Apex when i saw it last year.
Totalmente de acuerdo con Tigo, no entiendo el diseño de enrutar el latiguillo por el tubo superior, tanto en la estética como para poner una bolsa queda muy mal.
Really nice 👍.
Nice bike but I just want to reach through screen and scoot the seat forward. I have to be over the BB for power, not behind it.
brava
a very negative review for someone that to the sounds of it does not have allot of experience with the brand 3T. I cannot comment on the group-set as I I only have SRAM RED and Shimano Dura-Ace builds on my 3T bikes but they are also have a different price label. I belief if the budget is 4K still best thing to do is buy yourself a decent frame and exchange the parts later, or invest a bit more to get the SRAM Force groupset. regarding the bold on bag, they are out their belief from the brand Apidura but please note that it will damage the paint so I rather put a saddle bag instead
I mean she bought one of their bikes after riding this one. Idk if I’d consider that negative
Put the bag underneath the seat
Definitely a solution. But why even put the bolts in the frame in the first place. Also I think most people prefer the top tube bags for easier access to food during races.
@@bicyclestation You could get a bottle shape to you tools or snacks in
I have a Tailfin TT bag for her Extrema. It doesn't need the Velcro stem attach point. I also have the Wolftooth BRAD bottle shift mount in case the Extrema bolts are still in the wrong spot.
That looks like a really good bag.

I'm just here to read the inevitable comments that boomer men will leave explaining something Chase should be doing differently. I'm sure they'll get all the greatest hits in: Bike fit, bag mounting, tire choice, to smile more, why 700c is better, and how to climb faster.
All the hysteria about the 3T top tube cable entry point is ridiculous. ...Your top cable is just too long! Mine doesn’t stick up anywhere near as far as yours! In fact it doesnt bend up high at all. It’s flat and low around the headstem. When the cable is cut to the right length, the top tube entry point is better and neater than any down tube cable entry IMO. …just shorten your cable!
That’s how 3T sent the bike out. I think it’s completely functional but realistically if a customer looks at it and doesn’t like it who could blame them. 3T has also corrected this on the newer bikes so it’s not really an issue anymore
…3T have changed to internal cable routing on their Italian made bikes, which cost twice as much. ...It’s not difficult to shorten the brake line. Mine is perfect. Looks better than any downtube cabling IMO. I’d send you a pic if I could. @@bicyclestation
Then it’s still an issue and 3T might sell less bikes because of it. There’s hours of footage of us shorting break lines on this channel. It’s not a question of if it’s a hard thing to do. It’s a question of do we like the way it looks and the answer is not as much as other routing methods.
Strangely contradictory. try it. …if the brake line is the correct length, it looks better than any other external routing in my opinion. @@bicyclestation
It looks worse then just being internally routed
