Most entertaining commercials ever.
We're glad you're entertained!
Finally, there is something interesting within the sea of repeating technical content.
Thank you Si , JLW , and crew..yeah , I watched it , yeah , he jumped !....
I love my Chinese 3T Exploro Race Max. Whether with road tyres and wheels or gravel wheels. SRAM Force 2x has worked flawless as well.
The Great “world” Conquering Network GWCN! Taking us to every corner of the globe . I suppose someone had to do it even if they said you need baggy pants! Thanks chaps.
Awesome :)
I have to believe Hank had a hand in this edit, putting in TWICE the cut of him descending and his biceps rippling. 💪 Typical Hank wanting everyone to know he works out. 🤣 @6:31
Awesome kit and love Rab but hella expensive. Will wait for sales lol.
💯💯💯Epic KIT! 💯💯💯

What about the bags? No mention?
The clearances look tight. How is it in mud??
finally integrated
More videos with street clothing or street-adjacent clothing please, especially when it packs down this well! Spandex is fine for group club rides in Britain's mild climate and almost all asphalted roads, but not very applicable in a lot other situations. Curious also about the wheel rims. 29mm internal is mammoth. I run HED Ardennes+ on my road bike which I thought were huge when I bought them, at 21mm internal, 25 external -- they're at the very maximum of what my 2007 roadie will take (it was originally equipped with 13mm internals), and I had to change out the brakes to accommodate them -- and I believe low 20's is also the internal on my mountain bike. So something more about these rims would be interesting including whether they're applicable to more conventional conditions than these.
Guys we all love what you do! However, we need a tech video on how to use 12 speed mechanical road shifters with MTB rear derailleurs and the large gear ranges they come with such as 10-52 for example. Drop bar hardtail MTB's are gaining popularity so please show us you're not just about big brands and help show us, the loyal community, just how we can create the bike we want in this fashion in true GCN style. Ride on. Many thanks 👍
i have a pre-Italia Exploro RaceMax and it's super versatile. i can't think of another bike that is comfortable, and can run 650b x 57's as well as 700 x 40's AND 700 x 32's, all while feeling totally incredible. 3T's RAM/WAM philosophy not only is simple in principle but it just makes sense. also, at 7.9kg, it's light (that's light for a bike that can go places this bike can go), and also looks pretty rad. i also have those aeroghaia bars and they are an ergonomic masterpiece (for me, anyway). si, i dig that sticker than they made for you! that's a pretty special touch. how cool is that?!
Great vidéo. Climbing was very difficult?
This is the right way to advertise products! Instead of interrupting videos that we are enjoying.
Just map on the quantitative perspective and link with products that would fit with the profiles, and it is done! This channel is one of the most interesting, it is always reinventing itself from time to time!
Thanks! Glad you liked it
That's not how media works. Advertisers want to be in the videos everyone is watching vs things that are easily avoided by those that don't wanna see them
The audio is a bit funny. Like Si is dubbed with his own voice.
I have a 3T Exploro Racemax, one of my main bikes. It is comfortable and have great features of both gravel bike and aero bike. The Bike is stunningly beautiful. There are some downfalls of the bike though. Mainly, it is heavy as f***. Also the cranks are too close to the frame on the back side which makes it impossible to add on cadence sensors. I ended up getting the power meter pedals just to get some data. Mine doesn't come with an internal cable routing system, it seems to have had an upgrade recently.
On personal thought, I owned a Merida Scultura 200, Giant SCR 2, and currently ride on a rim brake version of Trek Madone SL6 and the 3T Exploro racemax. Unlike the name giving a hint of racing material, the aero gravel bike is quite heavy and leaned toward the gravel side. I tried swapping some aero wheels and 30mm tubeless tire settings and it is still heavy for some races.
heavy? i have one in size 56 and mine is 7.9kg. that's with 45mm deep carbon wheels and 40c tires.
The biggest frame is 1150g. That's plenty respectable
So, where do I sign up to win the bike, the gear, etc.? 🤔
Got to love that bare carbon. Yummy 🤤
why does Si sound AI generated in the beginning
sounds like si had to redo the narration and time it perfectly to suit the vid. prob had bad audio/broken mic out there
I think it’s the voice isolation. Seems like they had some background noise
Fu@#$#g awesome bike!!!!
Finally you've learn to dress like I've been dressed for many years. You've learned its not about spandex unless your racing.
Its about comfort and durability.
Sure i wear riding shorts under my regular shorts but still. Good to see you've come to the next level congratulations. Oh yeah great bike and epic ride. Me? I would have done it in my "back yard" and saved money that i can now spend on my bikes. Good stuff mates do keepemcoming won't you.
There's absolutely no reason to wear something over your riding pants. Just extra material to irritate
@@florinho1994 dont worry many reasons that you obviously wouldn't understand. But when you see people laughing know there laughing at you. No no just kidding forget i even said that. Lol
Lots of reasons mate here's a bone for ya. I may have a destination where spandex shorts isn't appropriate. Its not what you wear its how you ride and that you ride.
I was a pro for many years I don't have to pretend and i dont care what you wear or think about what i wear.
I can’t help but think, looking at the terrain, a HT mtb would’ve been better
Yap road is tooo rough.
Surprisingly, your gravel rims are wider than my trail/enduro rated rims. The industry is weird
Don't get it why you would need to be aero on a ride like this 🤷
"Aero gravel bike" with a bar bag, the cycling industry is a bad joke lol. The bag alone is wiping out any and all gains from the 'aero' frame vs a regular one. But they make these products because there's demand for them. A fool and his money...
Well yeah, but you don’t always ride with a bar bag right? What about having a versatile bike?
Meh. Gravelbike
A hard tail mountain bike with funny handlebars
Don't like them? Maybe you'll like our 'Himalayas' film on GCN+ 👉 gcn.eu/Himalayas
@@docmccoy9813è una gravel al 100% !!
@@docmccoy9813no mountain bikes are built like this...
That sleeping bag mentioned might keep you warm down to -17C but only if you're well-nourished, well-hydrated, young, fresh, male and sleeping on a decent insulated pad. In its rush to bankroll paid promotions GCN might be overlooking its other mission to make us better-educated riders.
That's the reality of sleeping bag ratings. Take that up with the labs that test them.
3T are a horrible manufacturer before you consider buying from them look at their online reviews, I wish I had... their after sales support is horrendous. In my experience their warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. Most of their frames are made in China not Italy as they would have you believe. Mine cracked after 3 months of light road use. A carbon expert said it was a manufactureing fault but they just ignore my claim! GCN, I was influenced by you in my exploro racemax purchase. You should consider who you promote
Just these Italia frames are made in Italy, but from what I understood at Eurobike, they plan on enhancing their manufacturing in Italy.
Well, they come with a sticker saying it's made in China. And as someone that's sold thousands of bikes, overall, I trust the QC of Chinese factories building for others over bikes made in Italy anyway but there will always be bad copies of any product. That's just the reality of manufacturing
I have 2 3T bikes currently and have had 2 others in the past. I live in the US and have found the complete opposite of what you describe. Their after-purchase service has been excellent! I have had their techs explain maintenance to me over the phone, email, and they have even created videos for me to follow! At one point when both the tech and I were stumped (over somethign that turned out to be a miscommunication) the tech even gave me the personal cell number of the local sales rep so I could call him.
In the end- I love my 3T bikes, both my Racemax Italia and my Strada. There is just something about the comfort of a 3T that I have not felt in any other frame.
I would absolutely recommend buying a bike from them- or even a used one if you are looking to save some money.
@@Shawnkelley112have you ever tried to claim a warranty for a faulty frame or were you just getting maintenance advice? They took months to respond to emails and in the end I was told that my frame wrap was the cause of the carbon frame cracking! Seriously they said my 3M plastic frame wrap had caused the carbon to crack. I took it to a carbon specialist who said in their opinion it was a manufactureing fault and they stopped responding! So it seems they're happy to help if it costs them nothing!
@@veganpottertheveganUnfortunately my experience has been a carbon frame that was made in China and, according to a former F1 carbon specialist, was made poorly. I don't rate the QC in the Chinese factories that 3T use!
aero + gravel is dumb AF
