Hi Keneth, the best way is to remove the starter and use a screwdriver to lock the engine on the Flywheel's Ring Gear Teeth.

The sealing surface of the cam could be damaged, or the seal is being damaged when you fitting it, also check the engine for sump compression this could also lead to the seals leaking.

How do you loosen that center nut on the crank pulley

Remove the starter motor and use an old screwdriver to jam the flywheel teeth, it allows one to tighten the bolt when the job is completed too.

No crank sensor on this car, it uses a cam belt system, with a distributor to time the engine.
