Kikuo miku 4 songs all use the same sounds and instruments as in zutto miteruyo (except like 2 that r instrumentally more inspired from kikuoworld3 and smth else) yet all the songs sound so unique and different in the album, take for example giant and UFO

It's neat how Kikuo is doing a more "crisp" or "clean" sound, idk how to really describe it, but it sounds more modern, a very nice sound!
i definitely hear it too, its more easy on the ears in a way, but his older songs are still amazing
for me is more charm and magic, maybe don't use much his experimentation of a lot of instruments but is sooo tranquility and for me is just like a terapy
he’s visited this style before!! the first few songs that come to mind would be anything from asian melancholic, some of his touhou doujins and tanemoshikakemoarumahou. he’s definitely “refined” the sound and made it fit with his own style quite well :D

今日は「春分の日」であり春のお彼岸。
幽体離脱という言葉からこの曲の主人公は亡くなっていなくて、もう既に亡くなっている大切な人へ幽体離脱をして会いに行ったということかと考えました。
最後の「我去看你了」は会ってきました、という意味だからきっと体に戻ってきている。
また会える、という歌詞が主人公が亡くなってから再会できるという意味なのかまたはお彼岸の時にまた会いに行くという意味なのか。
どちらでも亡くなった方を想う気持ちが素敵です。
鶏は仏教では克服すべき三毒の中の貪(必要以上に何かを求める欲望)を表すようです。この曲における貪は「亡くなった人との別れへの執着」なのではないでしょうか。
そんな風に感じました。

This is that classic kikuo sound he hasn’t used this in awhile. Wow what a relaxing banger next album is definitely going back to the early days
agree, I miss more of the cheerful, softer songs, like the ones he made with si_ku. They're so peaceful, such as Sea is Alive, or Sunshine is brief, or even the less popular "goodnight" , I think these soft songs bring a nice break and change of pace from the awesome intensity of his latest albums.

My interpretation of the song is that the person has a dead loved one, and they're singing about how they can't wait to meet their loved one again in the afterlife, or if you take it literally, they want to meet their dead loved one by having an out of body experience (astral projection/astral travel) but in my opinion, I think astral travel is a metaphor for death in this song. I love how this song is honestly really sweet and sentimental, it makes it different from a lot of Kikuo's songs. It makes me feel kinda nice. :)
Anyways, if anyone is interested in why I believe this is the songs meanings, I'm gonna delve into some of the lyrics.
The first lyrics say, "astral travel, the season when I want to see you, astral travel, I will come to see you" now, these lyrics are much less vague then the rest of the song, but basically, like I said, astral travel is most likely a metaphor for death and the afterlife, and they are saying they will come to see their loved one in the afterlife, through the lyrics "the season when I want to see you" and "I will come to see you".
The second part of the lyrics are similar, as they say, "astral travel, the season when I want to see you, astral travel, I love you so much", and that's why I believe that they are talking about their dead loved one, because they want to see their loved one through death, who they obviously love a lot, hence the lyrics, "astral travel, I love you so much".
The third section of lyrics say, "ah yes, I've finished it already. it was for such a brief time. flash, flash, upon the road where lanterns come alight, the scent of you smolders, swaying to and fro." This is sort of vague, but I believe this this section is talking about the times when their loved one was alive, such as when they say, "ah yes, I've finished it already. it was for such a brief time." I think they are talking about how they've finished their time with their loved one, and they believe it was such a brief time they had together alive. And by the lyrics, "flash, flash, upon the road where lanterns come alight, the scent of you smolders, swaying to and fro." I believe these lines are saying that they are revisiting memories, or in a place where them and their loved one were before, and the scent and memory of them is slowly fading away from the place.
The next lyrics say, "ah, just the two of us, we turned into some smoldering smoke and swelled out until we, with a bump, knocked against the edge of the universe." This one was a bit harder to figure out, but I believe it's saying when their loved one was alive, they were always there for each other, and they cared about each other a lot, but as the lyrics say, "just the two of us, we turned into some smoldering smoke" which I believe means that now that their loved one is dead, their no longer together and their relationship is now smoldering smoke, and the lyrics "with a bump, knocked against the edge of the universe" means that their relationship hit the edge of the universe which signifies death, and so their friend has reached death, or the edge of the universe.
Coming up next, the lyrics say, "crack crack, we're cracked, echoing in the universe! a shining light will come-come in with a sparkle making us chirp and peep; at long last, we'll be born all of a sudden and we'll surely meet up, will we not? time and time again" I interpret this as, although their relationship is "cracked, echoing the universe" as they put it, a "shining light will come-come in with a sparkle making us chirp and peep", the shining light meaning death, and it will come in and swoop the person singing this up, and then when they die, they'll be together with their loved one, and it will make their relationship flourish again, or "chirp and peep". The lyrics, "at long last, we'll be born all of a sudden and we'll surely meet up, will we not? time and time again", I interpret it in two possible ways. First, at long last the person has died, and they are "born again" in the afterlife and are able to meet up with their friend again, or second, they died and they are literally born again (past lives sort of deal) and they'll most likely meet up with their friend again. I'm leaning more towards the first meaning, since the second one seems too literal, but I'm not sure.
The final lyrics are a montage of the first couple lyrics mostly, but they say, "astral travel, the season when I want to see you, astral travel, I will come to see you, astral travel, I love you so much, astral travel, with you, glitter, glitter, glitter; within the light we proceed." So the only new part is the last part, so I'll only dissect that. Basically, their saying when they die, they will proceed in the light to the afterlife with their friend.
Hope you enjoyed my interpretation, let me know what you think! Maybe I missed something or something I said was inaccurate, but this is what I thought! The song was beautiful either way.

“会いたい季節” “灯篭”
これらはお盆（８月）をイメージしていると思います。
お盆は死者が残された家族や親類に会いに来ると考えられています。残された人は、家の内外に灯篭を置き、故人が迷わず家に来れるよう準備し、迎え入れます。
“煙” “香り”
日本では煙は死の暗示としてしばしば文学的に用いられます。また、香華といって、仏前に（線香）香りと花を供えます。仏教では人は亡くなると線香のよい香りを食するという考え方があり、亡くなってから極楽浄土に旅立つ四十九日までの間、故人は線香の香りを食べながら旅をするのです。そのため、亡くなってから四十九日までは故人の好きな香りを絶やさないようにします。
“くゆる きみの香り”
これは、前述の通り君が個人にむけてあげた線香がたちのぼっている様と、故人がきみの香りを“くゆる”（ 思いこがれる）思いを表現していると思います。
“きっと会うのでしょう何度でも“
君が死んでしまったあとの輪廻転生への希望が込められているかと思います。
宇宙の果て、や星の描写も、宗教的なことからつなげてもう少し深堀りできるように思われます。自分が詳しくないので申し訳ありません。
私は、全体が３つのシーンで構成されていて、
・自分だけが死んでしまって、君を恋焦がれている状態 ←実際はここ
・君も死んで、一緒に生まれ変わり来世でも出会う（ことへの期待）
・だからこそ、君は（自分も）こわがらなくていい（というなぐさめ）
と解釈しました。
愛する人ともう一度会いたい、もう一度共に生きたいという気持ちを煌めく星の光の中でせつなく描いた、美しい歌詞だと思います。

People do these really smooth music videos with the characters in the game and one of them used Hole Dwelling. Once I heard it, I was like “Dang, this song is great!”, so I checked out the created. UA-cam開いたらきくおさんの新曲が！早速拝聴しました。
今回の楽曲、とっても可愛らしい雰囲気で
ミクちゃんの歌声、ハーモニー、使われている音色（おんしょく）も可愛いですが
またまたそれだけではないという…
歌詞の
「きっと会うのでしょう また会えるでしょう
なら怖くないでしょう また何度でも」
が、特に震えました…！
曲の長さ、5：23の間 たっぷり別世界に浸れました。感動をありがとうございます！
5分以上もあったのをコメント読んで気づきました😳
やっぱりきくおさんの曲は引き込まれるから長さを全然感じない…！
最近短いけれどインパクトの強い曲が増えている中、5分超えの素敵な曲を生み出してくれるきくおさんって流石すぎますね…分かってはいたけどやっぱり素敵ボカロPだなぁ…。

なんか多幸感が凄い
イラストも曲調もかわいい？感じがしてていつもと少し違う雰囲気にびっくりしましたが
ふわふわしてて、聞いてて何も考えられなくなるような音がkikuoさんって感じがしてて好きです。
それとプレミア公開のときコメント欄が🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔でほぼ埋まっているの可愛かった…
切なげなメロディーが主だけど、どこか懐かしくてあたたかさを感じられるきくおさんの歌が大好きです
本当に好きです…こういうノリの曲がめちゃくちゃ好みです。ベースとドラムもリズムもコード進行の動き方もフワァってなって良い。音の使い方が相変わらず天才的すぎる。優しいみくちゃんの声が耳に解けます…愛愛愛愛しています…
もう最初の時点であっ（察し）しました 素敵
きくおさんの曲はミクの声が魅力的ですごく奥まで小さなキラキラした音があってヘッドフォンで聴くときくおさんの世界に引き込まれる
煌と鶏のコッコを掛けているのかな…なんて！！
今回はふわふわ優しい感じで素敵です！ まっててよかった！
ふわふわした音とオトマトペで、現実味の無さが出ててめちゃくちゃ良い…！
サムネのシュールなイラストも癖になる
ふわふわした音ってのが聞き心地がいいし、ミクちゃんの声が淡々としていて無情に響いているのが好きです。
まだ新規の僕ですが、漢字多めでいろいろな音が混ざって、ミクちゃんの声だけが主役じゃないところが、きくおさんのいいところじゃないかな、と思いました。

きくお様の新曲を聞く度に子供の様にはしゃいでしまう。遊び心が伝染する。
言葉がプツプツって細かく切れるのが癖になる( ˇωˇ )
全体の音が明るめなのにたまに不穏な音が入るのがなんとなく胸につっかかってもやもやするのが好き

This is such a pretty song, especially considering the lyrics. The Chinese part absolutely blew me away! I love these new Kikuo songs cause they’re so surreal and gorgeous.
And boy, what a surprise! Chickens are my favorite animals. Whether it’s a painting or not, Si_ku’s art is so nice. I love this!
Also, (I had this in the comment originally but NH talked about it) really reminds me of Kikuo Miku 5, esp koshinchu and yes MAWARU!

Omg ye i was surprised at the chinese part too!! And the song is so pretty!! Def feels like kikuo took inspiration from kikuomiku5 esp Koshin Koshin Koshinchu and MAWARU

『お！きくおさん新曲出してる！』って思うと同時に『サムネやばw』って思ったけどやっぱり表現出来ないようないい曲だった。誰がどういう風に曲を捉えてどんな歌い方でカバーするかすごく楽しみでもある。一言で言うと”リピートしたくなるようなすごく素敵な曲”でした。一人語りがすぎました、ありがとうございました。

this is certainly unexpected... but i love how well your style shines in a funkier, pop-like sound! production is very pretty, and this feels like it could’ve been released either 10 years in the past or future
