I'm glad I watched this today. I commute 2.5 hours on a dangerous road to go to a job I hate every minute of - instead of being with my family. I need to start making some decisions. I love this channel and whatever you do I will still watch. I love your faith and if you took this channel into a more religious avenue, I would be happy with that. Do what is in your heart. Do what makes you happy (be patient, it may take some time to transition to a new thing). A lot of us will still be here waiting for whatever you do next.
We all go through different seasons. You sound like you are growing and learning and ready to discover the next chapter the Lord has for you. How exciting and such a blessing! I'm someone who's been subscribed for... a while now! I started watching when you were in your car, watched the van build, and then your van life blogs. This channel has been moving and changing and growing throughout that time, and I've been enjoying witnessing the growth and change. You have to do what's right for you, Allison, and it's great to see you doing that. You do you!
It’s okay be who you are Allison and God will send you the people you’re supposed to reach. Start over fresh, be authentic, because when you’re miserable doing something it’ll show. God has your back. You’re just Allison, whatever falls under that umbrella that you want to show then do it. Show travel or not, talk about serious issues or funny topics or not, eat on camera or not, create the content God gives you and give Him glory for it.
I’ve said it before but I’m with you no matter what you want to do. True, I started following when you were in your car but then I grew to love you. Life changes. We all change. In June I had a blast of light go off in my head, fell and hit my head on the cement. My first ambulance ride, my first hospital stay in my 73 years, and I still don’t know what is next. I do know this Allison. God has a plan for our lives. We as believers are in “ the shadow of his wings”. I will be praying for Him to show you the next step and in the meantime I’ll be watching amd may He bless you abundantly.😉❤️❤️😘😘

Nothing wrong with moving on and dumping the channel. Anyone who has attempted to have a channel knows how much work it takes. Editing is a bugger! So many YT people I have followed have tired of the road and have settled down and while some have continued with their channel others have totally stepped away. Its understandable. Its a job. Its not real life and anyone who watches who thinks it is are kidding themselves. So make videos for fun or step away and live your life. You don’t owe us anything. Life is short. Do what makes you happy.
It’s perfectly ok to change the focus of your channel, it’s YOUR channel, not the people who follow it. It’s YOUR life, you’re the one living it. You’re on a spiritual journey, the snacks can be more spiritual or symbolic, rather than you eating food. Genuine people are hungry for something more than vicarious living. So many people are hungry for encouragement.Sounds like you might need to refresh and refocus but God has a plan and He’ll give you passion for the direction. Just my two cents.

If you were to focus on the bible. like sharing different verses and what they mean to you( they have different meanings for different people depending where one is in life. Travel Snacks would apply, travel through the bible, taking bit sized pieces(snacks) of scripture and sharing your thoughts. The bible could be viewed as a recipe for life. Just my thoughts. I did chuckle at the comment about the Kool aid man crashing through a wall, Younger folds may not get it. Live your life for you, not for what others think or may expect. One thing in life leads to another thing, and the next thing may be wonderful. Follow your heart and your gut, and be happy you’ve had the courage to venture out and try something different once your kids were grown. That’s great, and you’ve learned so much. That knowledge will heap you in your life ahead. It’s all about the journey, whether it’s on the road or just through life.

Started following you when you were in your car. Snack means a small bite...which is what you are giving us into our life, and I, for one, am thankful. Also, I am one of those who am not a Christian, but I support anyone who finds a comfort and strength in their spiritual path. (I just get kinda turned off when someone gets too preachy, but you have not been) You remind me so much of a friend of mine in Florida, she is blonde, and her name, believe it or not, is Alice (goes by Ali), so any video of yours is like spending time with a friend.

God has blessed you with giving people a living textbook example of how to live in faith. It takes people beyond the Sunday sermon, and into real-life mentoring. Daily walk with him- what that looks like and how it feels. Simple! Just continue to walk with God, and relate that experience in pictures and dialogue to those people who find comfort in your sharing. You may feel as though you are "doing nothing." However, our culture has changed and our sense of community has shifted to more online matchups of people who share similar interests, rather than people who live in the same geographic location mentoring and sharing life. I feel thst God has called you to show what it looks like to trust him and follow him throughout our daily walk. It isn't fancy or glitsy; it's regular, everyday drama, set to the sound of God's direction.
Honestly this was pretty profound to read because I often neglect my 'real' life to drown my sorrows on the internet and "connect" and hear from like minded people because I don't like my community. imo it's to small everyone knows everyone and opportunities are based on nepotism. I'm so bitter. I can't get out of this head space to even go outside. Communities and online content and connections give me hope to continue everyday.

I never enjoyed driving. I despise not having parking, I’ll avoid places with limited parking. I’m a homebody. The van life does NOT look attractive for me.

Alison, i understand what you are conveying, you do a good job of explaining your thoughts. Plus its very clear that leaning to our own understanding just leads us futher away from God purpose. We are like the young colt Donkey, that Christ Jesus rode into Jerusalem, a colt that had not been lead by flesh/carnel world thinking, but lead by Christ. So daily we who believe that we are lead by the Spirit of the Lord, walk by FAITH. We can't see the future with our natural understanding but but Faith. Its Daily, we have to trust that what He said is ture regardless of what our senese / human mind is telling us. We live in this Day, the Day that the Lord has done, thats it. He says blessed are those who BELIEVE with OUT SEEING (Seness). We are blessed when trust God not man, which inculds our ownselves. God is for us not agaisnt us, so rest in Him, His yoke is easy and His burned is lite. So I to relate, i live in the Day of the Lord and He leads and makes our feet like hinds eye, He keeps us safe and meets our needs, because we believe it period. Bam!
I love your videos when you share your faith. My prayer for myself and for other believers is to love God first and foremost and to serve Him with all of your heart. You have so much to give and share, Allison. Find a good, solid church home. Maybe get involved in short term mission trips. You would probably love filming those. They even eat snacks! Just caught up with channel change! Exciting! I can't do van life any more. My van broke and has to be scrapped. And I had to make space in my home for my 16 year old grandson. His mum can't look after him. Love your faith! Love Jesus!
I originally started watching your channel because you had a bubbly, curious and genuine personality that I enjoyed. I haven't been that into vanlife lately, myself, and have been unsubbing a lot of places. Content creators change just like viewers do, it happens. I wanted to see what you did with your channel, how it would morph and I was surprised you kept doing travel stuff after being done with vanlife content. I don't mean this disrespectfully, but I do not understand why UA-camrs feel the need to explain their change of content by apologizing and trying to justify it. Just do your thing - it will either work out or it won't. I realize that you make a living off this channel, but I don't enjoy the click-bait titles or watching you force yourself to do something you no longer enjoy. You seem lonely. You traveled place to place by yourself. Watching other channels, many people meet like-minded travelers and meet up at rallies, or travel in caravans. They met friends for life. Both male and female. And families too. Many said they have more friends living in a van than ever living in their homes. You really kept to the solo part. Another who travels part time because of the summer heat and the need to have an income, also met lifelong friends. She is sweet and hands out fanny packs full of body care products to homeless she meets along the way. She talks to everyone and laughs a lot. She is sad sometimes,too. You have to be you. Maybe, you are overthinking it? Paths sometimes just happen organically. All of a sudden you just come across the right person, job, or place.

There are air conditioning units available for vans and campers. You’ll have to add more electrical power to the camper or van, but, you’ll stay cool in the sweltering weather.

Have you ever had a lucid dream and you know it’s just that and all you have to do is put your brain power into and break the constraints of the physical world and use mental strength and think outside of the box to exit the dream or the situation in the dream and wala! It’s either over or you succeeded? I feel like that’s your situation and you just broke through and your courage and bravery will prove to be in your best interest and the universe/God Will rise to meet you. Your dedicated followers will continue to follow and support you even if it’s not ‘their thing.’ Your family is rooting you on until you find where you feel your life story and passion belong.
I still plan to venture out in van life, solo at first...in a few years. So grateful for all your videos that pave the way. Wishing you all the best as you continue your path. I somehow came across your channel around 3:33am this morning I looked at the clock I watched where you were in the van and telling folks that you were done for a while and got a apartment in Vegas with your friend and now this one I know nothing more about you or your channel but I liked what you said in both videos and I thought I would subscribe to you I live in a shed a 10 x 16 inside of a chain linked fence that belongs to the dogs. I hate it don’t understand why and how on earth did I end up like this it definitely wasn’t on my bucket list of must do’s.

Thank you, soooo much for sharing. I am going through similar. I have decided to quit ceramics and sell my tools and supplies. Last month I sold my beekeeping supplies. After 25 years as a ceramic artist and a decade beekeeping, I have just lost the passion. It was so much of my identity to others...they would introduce me as an artist and beekeeper. Scripture study has helped, immensely.
As you're talking about doing things together with others, I remember the recent video with the experience you and your friend did about the restaurant. It was very funny. What you said about how God gives it to you a little at a time - I did a devotional for a long time and my takeaway was that we're designed to need to have faith. So I just started trying to tell myself that I'm blindfolded going on a hike with God and He can only guide me one step at a time. 🙏 I think it's beautiful that you would want to enjoy life without having to film everything. Honestly I see videos of people having an experience and it's just everyone shooting it on their phones. Like, nah, just breathe it in. Started following you when you were in your car. Snack means a small bite...which is what you are giving us into our life, and I, for one, am thankful. Also, I am one of those who am not a Christian, but I support anyone who finds a comfort and strength in their spiritual path. (I just get kinda turned off when someone gets too preachy, but you have not been) You remind me so much of a friend of mine in Florida, she is blonde, and her name, believe it or not, is Alice (goes by Ali), so any video of yours is like spending time with a friend.

God has blessed you with giving people a living textbook example of how to live in faith. It takes people beyond the Sunday sermon, and into real-life mentoring. Daily walk with him- what that looks like and how it feels. Simple! Just continue to walk with God, and relate that experience in pictures and dialogue to those people who find comfort in your sharing. You may feel as though you are "doing nothing." However, our culture has changed and our sense of community has shifted to more online matchups of people who share similar interests, rather than people who live in the same geographic location mentoring and sharing life. I feel thst God has called you to show what it looks like to trust him and follow him throughout our daily walk. It isn't fancy or glitsy; it's regular, everyday drama, set to the sound of God's direction.
Honestly this was pretty profound to read because I often neglect my 'real' life to drown my sorrows on the internet and "connect" and hear from like minded people because I don't like my community. imo it's to small everyone knows everyone and opportunities are based on nepotism. I'm so bitter. I can't get out of this head space to even go outside. Communities and online content and connections give me hope to continue everyday.

I never enjoyed driving. I despise not having parking, I’ll avoid places with limited parking. I’m a homebody. The van life does NOT look attractive for me.

Fear can take us down. I’m trying to overcome some things with health and my job. It’s so easy to keep procrastinating and pushing things off till a later time, pushing things off again, and again. 🤷🏽♂️

Plus its very clear that leaning to our own understanding just leads us futher away from God purpose.
We are like the young colt Donkey, that Christ Jesus rode into Jerusalem, a colt that had not been lead by flesh/carnel world thinking, but lead by Christ.
So daily we who believe that we are lead by the Spirit of the Lord, walk by FAITH. We can't see the future with our natural understanding but but Faith. Its Daily, we have to trust that what He said is ture regardless of what our senese / human mind is telling us. We live in this Day, the Day that the Lord has done, thats it.
He says blessed are those who BELIEVE with OUT SEEING (Seness).
We are blessed when trust God not man, which inculds our ownselves.
God is for us not agaisnt us, so rest in Him, His yoke is easy and His burned is lite.
So I to relate, i live in the Day of the Lord and He leads and makes our feet like hinds eye, He keeps us safe and meets our needs, because we believe it period.

Just caught up with channel change! Exciting! I can't do van life any more. My van broke and has to be scrapped. And I had to make space in my home for my 16 year old grandson. His mum can't look after him. Love your faith! Love Jesus!
I originally started watching your channel because you had a bubbly, curious and genuine personality that I enjoyed. I haven't been that into vanlife lately, myself, and have been unsubbing a lot of places. Content creators change just like viewers do, it happens. I wanted to see what you did with your channel, how it would morph and I was surprised you kept doing travel stuff after being done with vanlife content. I don't mean this disrespectfully, but I do not understand why UA-camrs feel the need to explain their change of content by apologizing and trying to justify it. Just do your thing - it will either work out or it won't. I realize that you make a living off this channel, but I don't enjoy the click-bait titles or watching you force yourself to do something you no longer enjoy. I do hope it works out for you and that you find your new calling soon - good luck!

You seem lonely. You traveled place to place by yourself. Watching other channels, many people meet like-minded travelers and meet up at rallies, or travel in caravans. They met friends for life. Both male and female. And families too. Many said they have more friends living in a van than ever living in their homes. You really kept to the solo part. Another who travels part time because of the summer heat and the need to have an income, also met lifelong friends. She is sweet and hands out fanny packs full of body care products to homeless she meets along the way. She talks to everyone and laughs a lot. She is sad sometimes,too.
You have to be you. Maybe, you are overthinking it? Paths sometimes just happen organically. All of a sudden you just come across the right person, job, or place.

Have you ever had a lucid dream and you know it’s just that and all you have to do is put your brain power into and break the constraints of the physical world and use mental strength and think outside of the box to exit the dream or the situation in the dream and wala! It’s either over or you succeeded? I feel like that’s your situation and you just broke through and your courage and bravery will prove to be in your best interest and the universe/God Will rise to meet you. Your dedicated followers will continue to follow and support you even if it’s not ‘their thing.’ Your family is rooting you on until you find where you feel your life story and passion belong.
I still plan to venture out in van life, solo at first...in a few years. So grateful for all your videos that pave the way. Wishing you all the best as you continue your path. I somehow came across your channel around 3:33am this morning I looked at the clock I watched where you were in the van and telling folks that you were done for a while and got a apartment in Vegas with your friend and now this one I know nothing more about you or your channel but I liked what you said in both videos and I thought I would subscribe to you I live in a shed a 10 x 16 inside of a chain linked fence that belongs to the dogs. I hate it don’t understand why and how on earth did I end up like this it definitely wasn’t on my bucket list of must do’s.

Thank you, soooo much for sharing. I am going through similar. I have decided to quit ceramics and sell my tools and supplies. Last month I sold my beekeeping supplies. After 25 years as a ceramic artist and a decade beekeeping, I have just lost the passion. It was so much of my identity to others...they would introduce me as an artist and beekeeper. Scripture study has helped, immensely.
I'm going through the same. My job has been my identity and I am no longer enjoying it. I am tired of it. I have no clue where to go from here though.
As you're talking about doing things together with others, I remember the recent video with the experience you and your friend did about the restaurant. It was very funny. What you said about how God gives it to you a little at a time - I did a devotional for a long time and my takeaway was that we're designed to need to have faith. So I just started trying to tell myself that I'm blindfolded going on a hike with God and He can only guide me one step at a time. 🙏
I think it's beautiful that you would want to enjoy life without having to film everything. Honestly I see videos of people having an experience and it's just everyone shooting it on their phones. Like, nah, just breathe it in.
