I always love your videos. So understandable how you feel. You were burnt out. Also some people love criticizing. It is their thing. But the nastys need to shut up. I think you are great the way you are. Don't change please. Fifty what a shock.
I’m a musician. I performed in a high profile position in a symphony orchestra. I had played for 35 years but my last year I knew I was done. I quit 9 years ago. People thought I was crazy giving up the job but I have been so much happier and relieved with my choice. You gotta do what you gotta do to have your best life!
@@Jan-mv9ni nice Jan. Live your dream. As a musician I'm happy you're happy. It's crazy to think that even as a professional you still found it wasn't fulfilling you. May all your days shine brightly, and your nights blessed with peace ✌️
If the range is 5k to 20k and you want it to sell, list around 12k, accept offers around 10k. Chances are that 20k unit will sit quite awhile and go through a price cut or three before selling... If you want to try to get max money, ask about 16k, but be willing to hear offers for sure.
It’s perfectly understandable to need a break or even to quit UA-cam altogether if that’s what you feel you need, just please try to keep us updated, even just a short community post would do. I don’t think you realize that in the same way you love us, WE LOVE YOU TOO & I was genuinely worried about you, I know others were as well. Don’t let that stress the people pleaser in you out, it’s not a scolding or anything like that, it’s just a testament to the fact that you have a lot of people that care about and love you, it’s a blessing… even though sometimes the responsibility of it can feel like a curse. Your van, it’s a huge selling point that people can stand up in it, for that alone I would price it at the higher end regardless of the amount of miles it has on it… the worse that can happen, is you have to adjust the price later if no one makes an offer.
An additional value of your van is that it easn't just thrown together tp make a sale, nor is it for sale bc it's a hassle to use. It is outfitted in a road-tested configuration. Whatever didn't work was removed or upgraded. Yours is NOT a starter van, but a time- and road-tested compact home on wheels, with a huge fridge, a tested and upgraded solar panels and battery configuration, expendable hoses-- no more breakable pipes and flooding-- and a toilet! Not even towable trailers have as much, or well-thought-out amenities! You've learned alot thru trial and error, and have upgraded your van to a supririor level over amything a person could just drive off the lot with. There'a value in that.

@@travelsnackshi Alison. So glad to see you on here again. I live in a tiny town (Shiro TX). I got a used camper and an astro van. Love tiny living at 71 yrs old. I'm staying put here because after close to 9 years of searching, I FINALLY found and expository teaching church & Absolutely love it so I'm 'home'!! I will stay in my camper 26ft until I go to be with the Lord. Tiny living is perfect for me. I'm so grateful. My cup runneth over. By the way, I enjoyed this not-edited video. God bless you.❤
Hey sweetie! I’m so glad you’re finding yourself again. I’m 67 now and one thing I liked about getting older is just being able to be my little crazy self and not worrying about what other people think. It's great to see you and you look amazing. I totally get the "twisties", it's a sign of total burn out, time to move on. When you got sick awhile ago I was thinking you might move on then. Living in a vehicle is tough enough without the craziness of social media. Takie care and hope to see you now and then.
You had an adventure and you shared it with the world. Adventures don't last forever, and yours is done. I 100% understand what you are saying about how if you're not going to use the van, then it deserves to be in the hands of someone who will. Wherever you go from here, I hope it's positive. Thank you for the content you created and shared with everyone on YT. And best wishes for whatever is your next journey.
Such a treat to have a Travel Snacks video! I respect and appreciate your choices - I have watched for van life, have my minivan ready for its DIY transformation to be adventure vehicle or perhaps to live. Major health crisis hit and taking care of that for now but still have my plans. Personally I don't think I am cut out to be a content creator, I just want to heal and be free and start a new chapter. Blessings....
You do you and for your followers that is enough. Live your best life and create when you’re ready and willing to share again. I have missed your videos. God bless and I’m always cheering for your happiness and success.
I’ve been building a 2000 E250 for the past year, ahh man all the details and research for each step. I finally got my starlink to work remote on the road and have final steps. You chose a great ride and yours is awd and newer so you’ve got that. Also, you’re on the west coast which has so much more land and van accessible places to explore than where I am on east coast. I can’t wait to get back that way. You’ve designed a cozy setup. You’re being smart to consider your finances and find a solution. The people you’re going to meet and overcoming various challenges are just going to add greater depth of character and connection. I would imaging your happiness/quality of life is going to be deeper- though you may feel more lows at times, just ride it out like you do the waves. Thanks for sharing.
So terrific to hear your voice again and hear about your journey. You’re always relevant!! I’ve been getting chemo for breast cancer that returned after 3 years and I just learned yesterday that i may have spread to my bones and lungs. But like you, I just want to spread joy and love. In whatever way I’m called to do until I am done on the planet. Keep taking good care of yourself and listening to that inner voice.
Changes keep happening, for all of us! Have to accept with as much grace as one can muster! 😅. Jobs change, kids change- grow- and leave for college, things break and need repairs,... and new opportunities come up! Life is an adventure, but I love to look at yours as I sometimes, Sometimes, get in my SUV to camp/road trip, thanks to yours and others advice. Do you, lady!😊
Allison I’ve missed you a lot you’re such an amazing person and so inspiring I love the god in you he shines bright ‼️❤️ I’m grateful to see you when you post but I’m so glad to hear you’re feeling more like yourself and joyful you are a gift of God with great purpose and I just love you my friend ‼️❤️
Im proud of you! I get it. I turned 53 this summer and feel a lit if things. My job and purpose have been a struggle this year. I definitely need to get my joy in life and the Lord back. I know its because I've been in my mid life pit but I'm digging out one spoonful at a time❤️
I missed you!!!! But I totally understand. The same thing happened to me in bookkeeping. I hit a wall and can't do it anymore. Nor do I want to. I would rather wash dishes.
My cousin was a trucker but then needed time off for hip surgery. She couldn't go back. She ended up getting a job washing dishes at a fast-paced restaurant and she loves it. She said its a nice break, not having to think bout anything, didn't have to worry bout where she's going or whatever. Just washing dishes is her only duty. 😃
Good on you. I just started watching your videos earlier today because life happened, had a brutal breakup last week, and am going to be living out of my car mostly for a couple months at age 37. Here I am, spending my first night in my car, then this video pops up. Kinda makes me feel like everything is going to work out.
Allison!! So glad you’re feeling better❤ I watch for the talking about, living REAL life. You are one of the most honest and authentic youtubers, which I really appreciate. You are kind, vulnerable, and openly yourself, which inspires me. Love the snack pack community no matter what direction the channel goes in, also peep sugar crystal candy corn❤
Good luck to you my friend Very nice video Take care my friend stay well I wish you the best on your UA-cam channel And keep smiling God-bless you forever
I'm always a fan of good boundaries and knowing our limits! ❤ Drowning out the noise and being discerning about who we listen to begins with boundaries. For the record, I vote on every single one of your fun little surveys. Oh, and you do NOT look 50. 😳
Thank you, that's a great reminder about setting solid boundaries and leaning on God for discernment. Thank you for the compliment! 🥰 Also, that's so cool to know you are voting on the community posts! 🙌🏼
I just searched for you last night on UA-cam, to see if you've made any new videos, & here you are. Yaaaay! I've missed you & I'm so glad that you're back. 🥰👏
Hey girl, hey! So glad to see you. You look great. Do what is best for you. I’ve always said I’m here for whatever you do. It’s still true. Love ya🙏🏾💕🦋
If you want good tips around winterizing check out Foresty Forest - he lives in a van - on UA-cam. A good diesel heater is a must - in Canada and northern US states solar just doesn't cut it. Foresty also a small wood stove which helps. As usual you need good insulation on the van walls.
I'm glad to see you popped up with a video. I have missed you. I would have never guessed you were 50, I thought maybe 30-35. Best wishes with whatever you decide to do. I hope to see some more videos.
good luck to you!! Your van is top notch, well thought out and built with love! I just purchased a 2019 cargo van i am "creatively no-building"! I bought mine as a well used 2019 Ford Transit, mechanically sound bit 97K miles. I hope you get close to your asking price....you did a great job! {Hugs}
I'd love to hear you talk for long periods of time, like Tim. You are awesome and I appreciate you both! I'd love to hear more about body positivity with us older ladies❤
I have missed you big time. But I totally understand. I lost my sweet husband almost a year ago. You might remember I messaged you and we were attempting to meet up. I have been pretty much totally out of the human race during this year. So I get you in a certain ways. I am sure comments are great and some are hard to take the information from couch potato judges! Uggg I am really not a people person, bare in mind I was a Pastor’s wife for years. But with out the Pastor you kinda turn invisible, which was okay with me…..at the time. I am creeped out out dating on line, but having said that my friend met the love of his life on line in states away. Everybody thinks they know what is the best for you, but the Lord only knows your heart. I am with you girlfriend all the way. Live your life with only the Lord’s direction. Which is hard even for a Pastors wife that loves the Lord with all my heart. Allison you will make it…..in anything you set your mind too. Because your heart is with the Lord all the way. Sometimes we all need space! But Jesus is always with us and loves us no matter what! I’m still in Oklahoma, just message me my friend.
Hi Glenda! Yes of course I remember. Thank you for sharing your experience with all you've been through this past year. Life can be so challenging which is why we need to cling to God and each other. And if I get back up to Oklahoma, we definitely need to meet up!
Im so glad I stumbled upon this. I've been doing content creation for 3 years, and it is definitely frustrating. About a month ago, I had to reflect and ask why I initially started doing this. I think as creators, we lose that reason, which causes burnout, frustration, and spurs of trying to find what works to stay on the up and up. While I would love to monetize, I have to keep reminding myself of MY why not the masses. People that want to watch will, and those that don't🤷🏾♀️. Thank you for speaking your truth and being candid. ❤
Thank you for your comment. It's easy to get lost in all the noise but you are right to focus on the 'why'. Thanks for watching and I wish you the best on your channel!
This is powerful and appreciated honesty. I've had my awesome self-converted van for 4 years but never put it online for the reasons you've mentioned. Everyone is a critic. No matter how much work & research you've put into something, some people will find the smallest thing to nit-pick. Social media is a black hole. God bless you... His opinion is truly is the only one that matters! ❤
Wow, good to see you back! I feel like everyone is struggling with something right now…. Hope you are feeling better and it would be cool if you kept making videos.
Allison just found your utube just now and I must tell you, I loved every minute of it. Wow, I applaud you for being honest with yourself. I will be going back and watch all your adventures. Do what is right for you and only you. People can be mean and cruel and that is not ok. If you decide to continue in any capacity, I will watch it all. God is good and he will lead you in the right direction if you allow him. You have touched me deeply with your honesty. God Bless! A friend now, from Canada. 🇨🇦

Amen to that! I pray you heal quickly and I'm excited for your future minivan journey. Woohoo!
You do you and for your followers that is enough. Live your best life and create when you’re ready and willing to share again. I have missed your videos. God bless and I’m always cheering for your happiness and success.
Looking forward to whatever you want to share with us. 😊
Keep God number one in your heart! God bless you Allison!
Thank you for your comment! I'm saying a prayer for you right now. 🙏🏼 God knows what we need and will never leave us. I appreciate you, thanks!
Good luck and I hope you find Joy.
I’m looking forward to what’s next for you! Love another Gen Xer

Stay out of Vegas if u r living in a car
Love your videos. Think you are awesome and you should do what makes you happy and joyful! Keep on keeping on! You are amazing!!! 🎉 ❤
Hi Allison great to see you do what's right for you I've enjoyed your videos your honesty I miss you. My prayers are for you
Im proud of you! I get it. I turned 53 this summer and feel a lit if things. My job and purpose have been a struggle this year. I definitely need to get my joy in life and the Lord back. I know its because I've been in my mid life pit but I'm digging out one spoonful at a time❤️
❤ love your vibes Allison. You do YOU.
Good to see you back. Looking forward to see more of your video in the future
Thank you so much!!
I missed you!!!!
But I totally understand. The same thing happened to me in bookkeeping. I hit a wall and can't do it anymore. Nor do I want to. I would rather wash dishes.
Thank you for missing me, I missed the Snack Pack too!
When you hit a wall, there's pretty much nothing more you can do. Take time for yourself!
Glad to see you again. I will watch whatever you put out.
Thank you!
Good on you. I just started watching your videos earlier today because life happened, had a brutal breakup last week, and am going to be living out of my car mostly for a couple months at age 37. Here I am, spending my first night in my car, then this video pops up. Kinda makes me feel like everything is going to work out.
I want to encourage you, IT'S GOING TO WORK OUT! You just keep going, one foot in front of the other and it will get better. You can do this!
Haven’t been here in a while but I miss travel snacks and I’m okay
Hang in there. You can do it, be you and don't let the naysayers dictate your world. I know that is not easy, but .... good luck. Thanks for sharing.
You were so much fun with travel snacks. Thanks for that. I hope your life becomes exactly what you need it to be. Best of luck in the future.
Thank you, I appreciate that!
Omgosh, i love that you're back!!! And I know what you mean about taking time to just "be", think, grow. 👍🤗💖
😊 thank you!
Hey girl, hey! So glad to see you. You look great. Do what is best for you. I’ve always said I’m here for whatever you do. It’s still true. Love ya🙏🏾💕🦋
Thank you, good to see your comment! I appreciate you, love ya back!
I'm just glad to see you and that you are doing well!😊
Thank you very much!
The fiasco you endured in the snow and subfreezing temps has convinced me to be sure to have my van very well winterized.
If you want good tips around winterizing check out Foresty Forest - he lives in a van - on UA-cam. A good diesel heater is a must - in Canada and northern US states solar just doesn't cut it. Foresty also a small wood stove which helps. As usual you need good insulation on the van walls.
Watched till the end hope it helps. Good video
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Hi. New here only watched 2 videos. Keep going get that big Silver 100K plaque before you stop on UA-cam. Just put out 1 video per week
Welcome to the Snack Pack!! 🥳 Even though I took a break, I'm back. And yes, I'll be posting 1-2 videos a week from here on out. Thanks for watching!
You are awesome Allison, we appreciate you ❤
I'm glad to see you popped up with a video. I have missed you. I would have never guessed you were 50, I thought maybe 30-35. Best wishes with whatever you decide to do. I hope to see some more videos.
Thank you! Much appreciated!
good luck to you!! Your van is top notch, well thought out and built with love! I just purchased a 2019 cargo van i am "creatively no-building"! I bought mine as a well used 2019 Ford Transit, mechanically sound bit 97K miles. I hope you get close to your asking price....you did a great job! {Hugs}
Uggg
I am really not a people person, bare in mind I was a Pastor’s wife for years.
I've been watching your videos since before Snoopy, so while it's a change, I think you know what you need. Good to see you. Stay safe and TFS, still.
I appreciate you being here for the journey!
Thank you and I agree!
Wow, good to see you back! I feel like everyone is struggling with something right now…. Hope you are feeling better and it would be cool if you kept making videos.
I love this video!! Love you travel snacks!!🤗
Thanks for sharing, hope u all good, u are the best.
Thank you for watching!
We all get down ocassionly and it's okay to take a break.
So glad to see you. Glad you're doing well. You are witty and funny. Talk about life. It will be great.
Thanks so much!
Glad she's back 😊

I am 52, 53 in just a few months. I can totally relate to so much of what you had to say. As always, Thank you so much for sharing , I always love your updates and look forward to seeing what you choose to do in the future.
Glad you’re okay take care of yourself.
Thank you for this. You are completely okay to feel these things and smart to pivot when you recognized you didn’t feel yourself. You had a few seasons (years) and it’s okay to switch what you’re doing. No one can be upset that you’re trying to do better.
More and more of us solo women nomads are pulling out of this life and continuing. I wish you all the best! Go take care of yourself & thrive!!!
Thank you! Yes, I agree that we need to allow ourselves to grow and change.
You do you it's OK ❤
Good for you. Stay true to yourself. God bless
God bless you too!
