God save the Rosh! This is what I was looking for. How cool it is when everything is shown live on the stage itself, this was so lacking. Thank you, my friend
Brilliant stuff. I gotta say, the intro was, overall, a fair bit longer than the actual content, but the actual content was WELL worth the wait. Thanks! 🙂
Hey Rosh! Thanks so much for your channel and for these series. These are so helpful 🙏 I see that many guitarists (including me) are considering buying the Laney LFR FRFR. I tested one but I also get this strange bass effect. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe a separate video on this one? Greetings
Hey Tomas, I haven't used one of those, so unfortunately I couldn't offer much help. I would say if you're having problems in the bass, make sure you use the low cut in the cab block to mitigate against this.
Hi Rosh, Great work as always, I don't know if you've already done a video on it yet but could you possibly show us the best way to use the FM9 with either a tube head or power amp with a guitar cab using 4 cable method? All the best
HI ROsh, Thanks for video. Actually i would like to ask as while using enhancer block or stereo delays i having issue with my setup as i am using single frfr unit (i know that obvious that this stereo effect and I am using mono) but is there setting i can do in fm9 to get this to mono I tried in audio setup copy L -> R and also Sum L+R nothing seemed to work for me
Thanks for your videos, they are very helpful. Do you use a different audio configuration if you use a frfr, if you use in ear or studio monitors? I have a frfr and when I listen in ear it sounds much better than when I play through the frfr. I don't know if I have to use a different configuration. Thank you so much.
Hey Jorge, I use all three, my presets remain the same regardless of what I use. If you need to adjust the sound in any of the outputs, use the global EQ so that you can adjust your in ear mix EQ without affecting your FOH or FRFR EQ. You can have three separate EQs to dial in to get your tone
Hi Rosh, thank you so much for these videos! I am new the FM9 and am loving it. I do an extensive amount of looping and am using the boss RC600, I was wondering if you had any suggestions for how to best run the FM9 and RC600 together...right now Im just running from the FM9 to the looper, and then to FOH. Not sure this is the smartest routing option...what do you think? Thanks much!
I think if you need effects on the loop that you're planning on playing over, this would be a good solution. The other thing to try is to use the auxiliary ins and outs (in/out 2 for example) as an "effects loop" and then use that to bring your boss looper in and out of the signal path.
Hello rosh…I’m running a same setup but I got a lot feedback from my guitar . should I move my monitor speaker to the back instead or I’m too close to the speaker monitor . Thank in advance
Literally answered my next question after the last vid which was, how difficult is it gonna be to make the adjustments to mono from stereo out on the unit itself without the benefit of fm9 edit while at a gig ? not too bad
Hi Rosh, I’m considering getting an FM9 but planned on using IEM only (so I don’t have to carry an FRFR wedge). Would IEM be sufficent when playing live?
Hey Rosh, I just moved from a tube amp to the FM9. I’m noticing on my higher gain presets that if the gain is high and a chord with like a sudden stop (similar to a Hwy to Hell) I get a weird digital/reverb like clap for a millisecond. This is on a dry signal path. I do notice it more when I have a drive block on. When I cut it off it goes away or lessens. I only use the drive to boost a tone. So it’s always at zero gain. Any pointers? I use a FM9 in to a SD170 to various cabs. I used an AX8 for a very long time prior and didn’t have this issue.
Hey Michael, It sounds like this could be a gating issue especially with high gain amps. The input block has default gating settings that may not suffice for high gain patches. I would recommend watching my gating video on this channel. You can add a gate block after the amp to hush the note.

You're very welcome!
Always appreciate your content Rosh, it has helped me a ton in my Fractal voyage.
Glad to hear it!
Hey Rosh... .thank you so much for these vids.... I'm an AX8 owner who just got my FM9. Enjoying your content.
Glad you like them!

Hey Pete, will add that to the queue. Thanks!

For the stereo enhancer to sound correct, you'll need to run stereo for the widening effect.
I just got my fm9 but i don't really know which speaker buy, do i need to buy two frfr to sound stereo? I usually play with friends
Yes.
hi,i use a frfr it has a button for mic or line which should i have this on?
I would recommend keeping it on Line.

You may be using just too much gain and you should turn that down and adjust the gate

I would recommend getting familiar with the performance controls and using that to control things live
Hi Rosh,
I’m considering getting an FM9 but planned on using IEM only (so I don’t have to carry an FRFR wedge). Would IEM be sufficent when playing live?
Yes absolutely. I do a lot of gigs with "silent stages" where the band is on In Ears and the FM9 just runs to front of house. Works great
Perfect. Thanks Rosh!

@@RoshRoslin Thank you brother! I have a gate on the input and after the amp I’m still getting it. But will check your video out
