Update: Made this video a year ago while building The Boom Boom Room STL burlesque club and dinner theater. We run it and own it. The display has worked very well for us. To see how well go to.

You can see it at 18 seconds.

Here is a bit about us.
Picture this…you enter through the plush, ruby red drapes, into the sultry, sexy, ever so stylish salon known as The Boom Boom Room!!! It's a gorgeous performance venue in the heart of downtown St. Louis!!!
Join us on Friday and Saturday night for the best burlesque dinner show around. Enjoy some drinks, and some delectable food, while The Boom Boom Bombshells entertain you for approximately two hours. A four course tasting menu with a full two hour show will ensure that you leave full, entertained, and quite possibly giddy from the specialty cocktails of the night. Singing, dancing, burlesque, cirque and more will keep you thoroughly entertained.
If the supper show doesn't tickle your fancy we have a late night show on Friday and Saturday nights that's hot hot hot!!!!
For you late night partiers every Friday and Saturday night after 11 P.M. we put on the best party in town!!! Great djs spin your favorite top 40 tracks throughout the night.
Because life's too short to leave out fun entertainment, we are here to be the place to go for food, drinks, and more!!!

Thank you. We have been open a month and all the LED light stuff is working out. I've learned so much about it since then. I love all the free knowledge I have got from kind people on you tube and just trying to teach others.

I'm a " cabinet maker " by trade. I've made most of the back bars for bone fish grill and Carrabba's. Why didn't you just buy frosted plexi? They usually come with a protective paper on both sides. If you cut it with the paper on, you should have little to no chips. ( Obviously any chips would be positioned facing down.)

Looking back I do not know. At the time we were on a very limited budget, and I did not know I could. If I build a new one I absolutely will. In fact we needed a bar display for a new bar, I measured in my head the week it took to make this and ended uo buying one on Amazon. But we are in a small better position now. But. Its all ready waterproof and had all the led lights installed. And has the frosted plexi. Ao now that you say this we have four bottle displays and Id like to replace “ALL” the glass. And as I am thinking out loud. I made a 5 foot buy 18” raised single shelf display. Recently. Because i had two large peices of tempered glass shelf. I used this can of spray on both pains of glass and it STILL does not distract the led dots. Hey!!! Good point.

Can you provide a write out of the dimensions that I can give lowes to cut the wood? Also for the plexiglas. Thank you!

I cant, also, lowes cant cut the wood like this, you will have to learn to do it, they only do straight cuts. If I remember, its 4"down 4" up.

How did you set the light in.

    • @TheBoomBoomRoomStLouis

OK, SO THE led strip lights, if I rember, i used a glue gun and glued it to the sides under the glass. I got clear plexi and sprayed it with the stuff that makes it hazy. We have a show so i wanted it on a dmx controller, so i used a amazon "DMX Decoder" .

Jim Day thank you. Im sorry its very late. But i am such a hack. It takes me a long time to do anything. Im slow and just did it as i was desperate and poor. Laugh. We had no money to start out business. But four years later they work well and business is good. Thank you.
