Mr. Saavedra, this is without a doubt the nicest, classiest home bar I have ever come across on You Tube! I love that you went with a 1920s/30s speakeasy theme rather than the safer "sports bar" theme with 20 TVs and football jerseys on the wall that I see a lot of. Nothing against sports bars, hell I frequent them on occasion. But what makes yours so unique is the details. From the B/W photographs, to the classic cocktail books, the fireplace, the elegant, but also comfy furniture with seats and tables, and last but most certainly not least, that beautiful bar and back shelf. You can see the love and care you put in to this. Great job!
@@filmsaavy Kudos from me as well. Impressive work! I love the concept, the choice of colours, it just has a very warm and welcoming feel about it. And you seem like a great person to be around, so your guests must have a great time. Cheers!
@@StevetheBartender_ Congrats on your new book!! Can't wait to read it. When you come to LA I'd be happy to host a book signing event at the Saavedillo Cocktail Club. I can promise some starry names!
The wallpaper is spectacular! I like the roof too but I find it competes for attention with the wallpaper so I wish those two were in separate rooms. By themselves they are both lovely but they shouldn't have been combined
That is a home bar that really transports you... not just from a location but from an era in time. Beautiful design and fantastic execution! I'd love to have an olde-fashioned (or 3) here!
This guy is so down to earth and enthusiastic about the craft, all the while showing appreciation and consideration of Leandro's advice. It is easy to surmise why he has succeeded in show biz affording him such amenities. Also that monkey lamp is terrific
What an amazing episode. This guy is amazing and you were a boss with the tips. Props to him for even daring to make you a drink. Keep it up. What a stellar place.

I love seeing the home bars, I especially love when they incorporate things like animatronics, secret passageways, etc. I'm sure there's more than a few awesome home Tiki Bars in SoCal.
Beeee aaaaa uuuuuuu tiful bar!!! Bucket list s&$t for sure👍 And the sweat equity part might be the most impressive part! Well done. So many things to admire love the bar shelves, mirror, and light. Love the fireplace and how it not being square plays well with the other circles. The wallpaper is perfect.
ive come back to this video so many times, i relate to Craig so much as someone who loves to host and loves making cocktails for friends. not to mention having this bar at your fingertips daily is truly a luxury. absolutely love everything about this video its classic yet personal. 10/10
Super cool home bar. I love it! And really appreciated the guest's energy. He was so excited and that's what it should be all about. Made me want to get up and go make a cocktail!
What a spectacular home bar. Beautifully designed and I am so impressed with the art deco features and the how the home owner did most of the work on his own. You are so right that people get intimidated by cocktails. I am much better now at asking lots of questions and getting better as knowing what I want!! Terrific video tour Leondro!! Cheers!! :-)
My home "back yard bar" also was built during pandemic. 18x32 and have had 35 people in it for parties. Love watching everyone else bars and ideas, keep up the good work
SWEET! His little slice of cocktail heaven is sooooo impressive! Major props for the hidden room and extensive library. ❣️❣️❣️🍹🍸Cheers to you for connecting with him!
Great and high production value here! Wow. Also, I spotted some gems on the gents bar (Widow Jane). What Leandro mentioned about helping people choose cocktails is grade AAA barmanship. So smart. So we’ll versed in service. I love all of the tips from this video. It’s the subtle nuances that I love focusing on whenever I have people over for cocktails. The shake. The pour. The glassware. The probing of questions. Also, this man’s bar is insanely cool. Love the nice touches of history and how he made it his own. Well done!
Northridge, alright I'm in North Hollywood, I'll be here waiting for my invite! I keep a recipe book of all the drinks I can make based on what I want to keep on hand and I just let people flip through it. That's the easiest way based on what people may like but haven't thought of with ingredients.
Dang, I'm only just starting to get into mixing drinks at home. Now I want to build a fantastic home bar like this one. For me though, it will absolutely a homey, Irish pub. I love the feel and vibe of a good Irish push, all the dark woods, art, nick nacks.
This was super fun, love the energy and just the vibe of his bar. Also great hearing all of the advise. This Gentlemen is super energetic and would be a blast to hang out with.
Okay this bar is really good. It's different from the typical "Irish Pub" inspired home-bar, this one is New York, 1920s inspired and you can clearly see the differences. If I were him, I would ditch some of the books. A real 1920s bar won't have books in it.
I can relate great to his story about mixing cocktails in the kitchen and ppl taking & laughing in the living room. This is sometimes unfortunatly but at the same time it is fun to host guest and making cocktails. Also ofc Great looking Home Bar! I love this series were you guys went and see other ppls home bars. Keep the good work up! =)
Great video, and really beautiful bar! I get that at my home bar, too, when people don't know what drink to order. I sometimes have trouble deciding what drink they would like to drink!
Holy cow! You and Marius did a great job on this, Leandro! It was so fun having you guys in our bar. I learned so much from you. Come back soon!
Awesome home bar!
How do I get an invite? Awesome bar!!

Just seeing how much effort people put into making these bars and how they turn out is mesmerizing.
What an amazing home bar Craig, you've put your heart and soul into building it. Wish you many happy years of enjoying it.
Thanks so much!!
Fantastic home bar, and a really great piece. Thoroughly entertaining.

This guy is one of the coolest guy's I've heard of. He has an incredible sense of style and high attention to detail. Great job/video.
This is what I want to do for a home bar. This is the dream. My lord is it beautiful
What a great bar, and an amazing home bar!! It reminds me a little of Tarnowska’s American Bar in Venice.
SWEET! His little slice of cocktail heaven is sooooo impressive! Major props for the hidden room and extensive library. ❣️❣️❣️🍹🍸Cheers to you for connecting with him!
Very nice set up nice work. It would be awesome if there was an area for so king cigars…
Cool! We all have our personal tastes… nice space!
Outstanding! This bar is what I aspire to.
What an absolute legendary home bar. Hats off to you Craig. Your insanely talented and I love your passion.
Just stumbled across this. What an amazing job he did. Both design and build.
Damn that bar left me speechless for like 10 seconds
Wow that’s a super cool home bar/speakeasy 🥃 love his passion and enthusiasm
This has been one of my favorite bar/drink vids ever. So inviting, so historical and more importantly Soo inviting.
Wonderful! That fireplace is fabulous.
I wholly agree with this title; absolutely incredible! I've seen actual speakeasy-style bars that don't even come close to comparison on this level!
Inspirational! Love this content Leandro!
Absolutely love this- so much thought and love went in to the details of that space! This is Goals. Life goals and bar goals. 🥃
Are you sure it’s a home bar? Awesome, man!! He’s so passionate on it, obv.
My man is such a unit his energetic vibe is gold
Gorgeous home bar; I'm especially in love with the fireplace! Would love to see some pictures of your "behind the bar" set up.

Besides the sofa, which probably he took from a swing house, the project is 10/10
He managed to get the same wallpaper in Nucky Thompson's joint in Boardwalk Empire.
great video, and what a charismatic guy!
What a great home bar!! Just fantastic. It’s nicer than a lot of regular bars I’ve been to
He's missing a beer tap! Maybe there is not room for it... AMAZING set up though!
Fantastic people , good taste , great hidden gem with unlimited coziness and privacy.
Really nice job Craig. Has the right feel.
This bar is on point. So many amazing ideas. I hate wallpaper, but now I'm rethinking it. Great job!!

Savadillo comes from their surnames cute!
Wow, what a cool spot, that's the dream right there! Wondering if that false door is the entrance to another lounge?
It leads into the kitchen and the main living room
this is amazing. chilling on a weekend afternoon with this guy just trying out cocktails is probably such a vibe
that is the life . nothing beats that
Wow, absolutely fantastic! Cheers!
Leandro's comments on people being intimidated makes a lot of sense. I'd love for him to go deep on that.
Wow this guy is true enthusiast!
