I agree with most of what you say in your video. I do think sellers should set a very high bar before asking for consisions on an as-is purchase. If a buyer is selling a house as-is that is them being upfront and honest about their intentions and buyers should be respectful of this.
Hey, I know that old house in the thumbnail. It's on Rt 1 in Searsport, ME I think it's now been torn down though
A fixer upper isn't always a bargain, but it may be the only kind you can afford. If problems are not serious it may be better to get in something rather than wait until increased earning power allows you to get into a more desirable home.
A fixer upper is often a great opportunity to create equity in a home if the needed fixes aren't too big. Especially if they are only cosmetic things, like dated decor.

I would like to take credit for that comeback to the "I'm not providing a SPDS", but I got that from my broker :)
