Actually no. She had experience but not enough. All she did was follow the recipes that were given to her. She ended up leaving and is now a nurse.
a year later they went out of business anyway😊

This only makes her more memorable, with so little experience but already so distinguishable. She was so good that Gordon offered her a job in his kitchen when the restaurant closed. So actually, yes, she is very good and has great talent.

Kinda hard to come back when you have as much dept as these restaurants. The turnaround is good, but the money it brings in still might not be enough. Then there's those who willingly sell the place and delusional idiots that go back to their old ways

not too often do you hear of an inexperienced chef getting the job offer of a lifetime, but danielle was one of them. i don't know about you, but if i did something that stellar even tho i had zero knowledge and gordon offered me a job at his place, not only would i take the offer, i'd be on the floor in tears.
gordon is one of those people where if he isn't screaming, yelling, or throwing much needed and deserved swear words all over the place, then something is wrong. i look up to gordon. even though i don't want to be a professional chef, i do love cooking, and i've tried a few of his recipes. they are a bit pricey, yes, but they are things everyone in my family enjoys. i would really like to at least broaden my knowledge of cooking just a bit more, but man, he's awesome.
and good on danielle, too. takes the job for her family, even though they are almost completely brainless and have no faith in the business ever since they began it, and yet she is keen on learning and improving, wants the restaurant to succeed, and takes the help with no problems whatsoever. that's something a lot of other chefs on kitchen nightmares refuse to understand. it's mainly the chefs that are also owners, joint owners, or managers. they need a reality check. danielle was living in the reality check that her entire life was on the line if this restaurant failed.

He needed to see that she was taking this seriously. Once she proved herself, and her skill level - he agreed to help. He’s a businessman, he owns restaurants. He’s not going to back a place that doesn’t take its business seriously.

I used to HATE Gordon, now I'm warming up to him more because of his bold honesty...and when he LIKES something he gets completely blown away by it...and that, in MY BOOK...MEANS A LOT!! My girlfriend is a chef in Calgary, Canada & has even helped me drop 40 pounds with her incredible healthy cooking. Bless you Gordon!! ❤
This was one of my favorite episodes of all time, just because of Danielle.
