@@carbonr6r410 The situation is more complicated. Some of the Coyotes have the same firing order as the LS. I'm willing to bet that makes a difference. Also, Fluidampr now makes harmonic dampers for Coyotes.

Congrats on the new truck and Corsa extreme exhaust, I used to have it on this same truck, but without headers. I got a vid of it ua-cam.com/users/shortsghfGHeVG5kI?feature=share Long tube headers give a decent bump in HP gains (about 20, only with a tune) but only if you get a revised tune specifically for that modification. Probably no point in getting headers for your model year F150, if you cannot get any tuning done on it yet.
Little to no drone, you can definitely hear it but it’s not annoying daily driving. Long road trips can get annoying though.This set up is one of the loudest, best sounding and most expensive set ups you can get.
@@omegazone3151 the exhaust is loud enough that you can hear it at all times even while cruising on the highway, which can get annoying on long drives. It’s audible in noise but not drone noise, if that makes any sense. Borla guarantees no drone in all their exhausts.
@@Eli5.0 I have the omega too, 4" lift, 33s as well. Borla S Type so close to yours. Im shocked they tuned it. Was this recently? They got heavy EPA fines years ago and refuse to tune off CELs. Sounds like you didnt get a CEL though? What state are you? Im PA so emissions count too
@@cg9608 they didn’t tune anything regarding emissions. I do have cats but I still did get a cel. there are other ways besides tuning to turn it off tho
completely out of the question, but how did you get such a nice rev limiter? Mine seems to just stop and cap out normally, unless theres something wrong with my limiter or i need a retune. Mine seems to just cap off and i never get a limiter noise like that
The “rev limiter” is like that from factory. I am tuned by oz omega. But it doesn’t matter because I have now learned that banging the rev limiter off like that can severely damage a part of the engine, specifically the oil pump gears which are especially weak on the 5.0 f150 and mustang gt. No more of that lol
@@Eli5.0 im just surprised yours limits it like that, mine flattens out entirely, i put on a boss 302 manifold and all and had it tuned, runs great, grabbed power and speed, been looking at long tube videos, but mine still flattens out, yours sounded like it got up there in the rpm ranges. Yeah it can mess up quite a bit, i know plenty of people who play with two step on even vettes that have completely blown their motor playing around with it lol

I got a 18 5.0 with the dual ford performance by borla , it’s loud I wouldn’t want it louder with resistance area , the country is another thing lol !

To be fair, it’s not that bad when driving normally. Audible, but not obnoxious until 2000 rpm. Anything after 2000 rpm is crazy.
