    Totally agree. I firmly believe, having experienced it myself, that many therapists today are little more than personal validation machines. Pay your fee, get "dialectical behavioural therapy" (which is complete shit), a prescription and fuck off. I have personally seen therapy turn people from bad to worse. We need to be told "oh, you're doing this? Do this instead." Solution focused therapy is the way to go. That documentary with Jonah Hill and his Psych was absolutely on point.

    Perfect list. And I love how the last words of song were “drink your water…remember…”. Number six! But great job on video 👏 I needed therapy a couple of times, and it changed my life. I’m the type who loves a challenge, so when I realized I couldn’t cry without smiling (because I was always happy/fine) I knew I needed to talk about some terrible stuff which I desperately didn’t want to talk about. Along with your advice, therapy can be almost fun if you treat it as a game of bettering yourself vs a place to label yourself.

      Thanks for sharing your a bit of your story. I'm glad to hear you had a positive Therapy experience and managed to find some balance. And yes...staying hydrated is very important (I write this as I'm drinking coffee😅). Song is called Right Here by Don Fei. Link is now in the description if you want to listen to it in full. 👍

    1 problem, i'm autistic and I needed to figure myself out to figure out why none of my relationships were working
    so I guess sometimes you need to get more depressed before you can become healthy

      @haruga:
      Please consider setting a structure for yourself to follow, doing things that calm your mind and tend to your body.
      1). Listen to classical music can be good for the brain. There are different genres, so if you don't like one, you can find something you do like.
      2). Spend time out in Nature.
      3). Spend time with animals, if you like animals.
      4). Research well-known autistic people who have made good lives for themselves -- you can learn from them. One example (among many) is Temple Grandin.
      5). Consider volunteering doing something you'd like to learn. It could be tending to animals or a sporting event or in the community building houses.
      Best of luck and sending you good wishes!

    This is ethics or morality. Not medicine.

      How do the two not go hand in hand? Medicine is predicated on believing that every individual is worth saving, should live happily (and disease free), should have their dignity, and they should have a say over how their bodies are treated. Modern medicine has evolved out of a moral and ethical duty with what I would only describe as a religious idea that every individual has intrinsic worth (first conceptualized by the Ancient Egyptians and then executed by the Ancient Greeks). These themes were only further developed by the Judeo-Christian ideals that Jordan espouses.
