Hey everyone! Today, I've got an incredible trick to share with you on how to open and extract coconut pulp without any struggle. This method will change the way you enjoy coconuts forever-let's dive in!
To begin, start with a dry coconut. Make a hole at one of the coconut's eyes to remove all the liquid inside.
Next, grab a sturdy object like a hammer or mallet. Gently tap and rotate the coconut to weaken the shell. This step is crucial-it'll make opening the coconut a breeze.
Now, fill a pot with enough water to fully submerge the coconut and bring it to a rolling boil.
Carefully place the coconut into the boiling water and let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
After 2 minutes, remove the coconut from the boiling water and quickly submerge it into a container filled with cold water. The sudden change in temperature will create a thermal shock, making it easier to separate the pulp from the shell.
Using a spoon, insert the handle between the shell and the pulp. Gently twist and turn the spoon to separate the pulp from the shell. You'll be amazed at how effortlessly the pulp comes off!
