The handheld cheese grater model is so old, we had that in the sixties. We had more drums though, so you could grate fine or not do fine and also cucumber slices. Sixties, so ours was all metal

I would love to have the rotary for ground nuts. Desserts and breads, as well as smoothies would all benefit from ground nuts, not to mention old fashioned oatmeal. Great to see more long content from you. I've missed it.
A recipe you could use the sheeter for is a vegetarian, wheat-free lasagne my grandmother created. I don't know the exact recipe, nobody but her does, but I _do_ know that the "noodles" for the lasagne are slices of aubergines.
I'm going to try growing them for the 1st time this year, coincidentally. Disliked them as a child, but tastes change, so I'm giving it a go. You & your grandma just gave what may be my 1st dish for them. Thanks! ☮

I love your videos! I've always been impressed at restaurants when they grate cheese over my pasta with the handheld grater, so it's time I got one for myself! I'm so glad you have links where to buy these - thank you!
You could fold the fruit and vegetables into decorative flowers to top entrees and deserts with. When you began rolling up the zucchini, it started to look like a rose, which is how I got the idea.
Used to work in restaurants and a hack we used for grating soft cheese like at @12:25 was freeze soft cheeses before grating. Then, let it (the frozen, grated cheese) thaw at room temperature.
I like the slicer thing, but wonder why anyone would want to have big long pieces of something 😕 I did laugh though when it came flying off when doing the carrot "flippin 'eck" dunno why I found it so amusing but I did. Great video Dave. I liked the handheld rotary grater. I wonder how well it would work with other cheeses, like a bit softer cheddar. And I would love to see some recipes from the gadgets you try too, or just in general.

I think those gadgets have been around since the 70s at least. Probably the 1800s even,I'm old, but not that old! LOL. But it is interesting to see how well they work on various veg and fruits.
I like it that when he starts grating walnuts they are so hard his hand starts going everywhere because he is holding the gadget with his left hand and I'm guessing he's right handed so it vibrates like how ur car vibrates after u start it
We love our small rotary cheese grater! Works really well. We use it almost exclusively for grating cheese onto pasta or salad. The one we have takes a bit of pressure to keep the pressure on the cheese or it stops grating properly. The one shown here looks better. The vegetable peeler-slicer would be AWESOME to make a low-carb/keto lasagna. :)
