Wonderful tips for cooking eggs. Quickly and beautifully prepared pashot. Bravo, Alexander! and how cleverly captures the neck of the bottle yolk. Manipulating the yolk and frying them in oil is just magic! The result is crispy egg yolks. Thanks for the interesting recipes and tips. Best of luck to you guys! 🐣

I love this guy, and this channel has great camera work too. He makes it easy and fun to cook. You come away thinking YES, I can do that. Its a great teaching cook show with some wonderful tips to make my life in the kitchen simpler. I so appreciate these videos. Thank you.
I saw on a video once that when you are frying sunny side up eggs, you put the eggs in the pan. When the eggs look like the whites are about half cooked, put an ice cube in the pan and put the lid on. They will steam and be done in a jiffy.
No wonder you have so many subscribers, they are great tips and hacks! When you separated the whites from the yolks with a wire tray, my first idea was eggs benedict and your idea of soaking the yolks in barbeque sauce sounded amazing. I love this channel. Thanks! 😀😊🤗
You can also make baked hard boiled eggs. Set oven to 325 degrees. Put you eggs still in shell into a muffin pan, bake for 32-35 minutes, depending upon oven. Let cool for 10-15 minutes then peel the shell. I love the taste. I usually add to refrigerator still in the shell. And used the eggs when needed. Easy to peel also.
Lots of great ideas. Thank you. The only tip I can give is for easy to peel boiled eggs, use a pressure cooker with eggs half covered in water. 4 minutes on stovetop or 5 minutes in am instapot with immediate pressure release. Transfer eggs to cold water and they peel in one piece. A minute less for soft boiled.
I am 74 and I've never seen most of what this guy is doing and I love it ❤🧠😎👍!!! In fact, I am so inspired I'm going to go out and buy a dozen eggs now !!!
1:30 Thanks for the tip using water in a skillet. 12:15 Same process as making cascarones usually done at Easter or other Mexican celebrations. Fill the shell with confetti and when it is broken confetti goes everywhere. Same idea in making pysanky Ukrainian Easter eggs with either the whole egg or just the shell. Thanks, always looking for new ideas for molding chocolate and the fried egg yolk at the end. Great video!
@bettyir4302 I visited Mexico when much younger, think around Easter, & when out walking & shopping, local guys would come up to me & crack a confetti filled egg on my head & smile. Odd because it was just me, nobody else in the group. Still don’t know why, but at least your comment let me know about confetti🥚😀
I am going to try your boiled egg tips. My family loves my deviled eggs but has no idea the pain staking trouble the shells cause me 😂 Thanks for all the wonderful egg tips You are purely Amazing !
First I always use about teaspoon of baking soda or salt (baking soda works better) to the boiling water. Then I removed them and put them in a bowl of cold tap water for about 5 mins and then make one crack and peel with a spoon.
It looks like a fried egg because the white is flat and spread out with irregular edges. I like this because I can save money and calories by eliminating butter and it fits on an English muffin for my morning sandwich! I will try it with breaking the yolk to spread out too. Thanks for all your egg hacks!
I really love your English! Thank you for all your fantastic tricks, i.e. one more way to make Benedict eggs. You are very generous when show us so many recipes. BTW, now I never boil eggs - I bake them in the oven for 30 min at the temperature 180 degrees. There are a lot of benefits: 1) you can prepare many eggs at once; 2) you can pill them easily; 3) you can keep baked eggs in the fridge for a week 4) the most important - baked eggs are more tasty than boiled ones.
Hi there, I just found you on youtube. I really love your show! This is the first video of yours that I've watched. And I am a super huge egg lover so I'm grateful for all of your information. I have one question - I thought that we were not supposed to eat raw egg. But when you soak your egg yolks in soy sauce or hot sauce it appears you eat them without cooking them - has the sauce somehow cooked them so that we will not get sick?❤
Some things in here that I have to try someday. I was so happy to see you shock the eggs. When you take boiling hot hard boiled eggs and shock them by putting them strait from the pot into cold water. The colder the better. It's so satisfying when the shell comes off so easily.
WOW so many brilliant ideas! The ordinary pen spring used to slice hard boiled eggs to give a wavy effect! And lemons in the water for hard boiled eggs. Must try spoon peel…must try them all! 😄 Thanks so much! Subscribed!
This is a great video, thanks for sharing. I'm usually not a fan of long vids, but this one was so interesting i kept on watching all the way through. Lots of clever ideas in here.
This was extremely interesting to watch! Never realized there are so many ways separate the egg. My daughter farms chickens and I have more eggs than I know what to do with and this vid will sure help there! Gonna try the egg "cookies". Thank you.
Are the yolks safe to eat when they are not cooked in any way…like the one covered in salt and sugar or the ones soaked in hot sauce? I make deviled eggs all the time so I will be trying some of your peeling techniques. I have tried many different ones but they are never foolproof. I am anxious to try a few new ones. Thank you for your videos. I always enjoy them. I don’t know why people have to knit-pick about the shell in the dropped eggs… My daughter and I have both used your water and flour trick to wash mushrooms…works great!
I tried this sieve method of poaching. Works well, with two major drawbacks. 1) Cleaning the sieve, takes some effort. 2) Sieve needs to be cleaned between eggs !
One of the things that always makes me a little crazy is that no presenter ever shows how easy it is to peel hard boiled eggs under running water in the sink. The water easily gets between the shell and the white and the shell usually just slips right off (unless that egg is incredibly fresh). I know this is because it is hard to film, and because it isn't too sexy or fun. But is is the easiest way to peel eggs, and they end up nice and clean. Just set them on a paper towel to dry, and blot before using. Also, eggs can be hard or soft "boiled" by "steaming" using only about an inch of water in the pan. Heat to boiling, add the eggs, cover, and the smaller amount of water comes back to a boil very quickly, decreasing the time you spend watching or cooking them. Cooking times remain the same. I have done this for years and years and . . . you get the picture.
We live in an area where water is at a premium, so we would have to make sure to save the running water in a container for other uses. But we did like the idea of using a spoon to peel eggs.
After having covid I’ve craved eggs like never before in my life…I enjoyed this video..great information (even thought the music was relaxing without distracting)…definitely want to try the hot sauce eggs!
These are such cool tips! A lot of them made my jaw drop- love the innovation! I especially couldn't believe the egg jam trick, I never knew that could be done but I'm definitely interested in trying it one day!
I have heard and tried any number of tricks over the years for perfectly peeled hard boiled eggs. Only one actually works and is based in fact. I learned it many years ago when I used to make jars of pickled eggs for a friend who loved them and you want those eggs to look perfect. I was getting my eggs fresh from the chicken, so to speak, but my friend told me it’s the one time you don’t want those fresh eggs. When new the membrane inside is very tight and adherent to the shell and peeling is a nightmare. Give them a few days in the fridge and the egg will shrink away from the inside of the shell and peeling becomes easy. I promise it works and it accounts for why this entire dozen are awful to peel but the next is not. All the eggs are perfectly good but some are a few days older and the peeling is simple. I still get my eggs the same way but if I know I want perfectly peeled ones like for devilled eggs, for instance, it’s into the fridge for the week to be ready for the next weekend.
Just so everyone knows, freshly laid eggs are much harder to peel than store bought. Not 100% sure why but that is what I found when I use to have freshly laid eggs. Usually had to wait about a week or more to be able to peel them easily
There is a shell piece in the first (second) in a row of eggs dropped. It becomes visible just at the yoke well back after picking up the (other part) of the shell. So... 9/10 ? :)
Never in my life did I consider that I would watch almost 17 minutes of video about eggs and learn something new. Thanks man.

Just so everyone knows, freshly laid eggs are much harder to peel than store bought. Not 100% sure why but that is what I found when I use to have freshly laid eggs. Usually had to wait about a week or more to be able to peel them easily
Letting them sit for a bit before attempting the peel can make a world of difference. Appreciate the insight! 🥚👍🏽✨
Older eggs have had a chance for air to enter the shell and thus push membranes away from shell. At least in the US where our eggs are all washed.
