Its crazy how accurately this series can portray death... Because death isn't usually a grand heroic way to go out. Its not usually something you see coming. Its something that appears, fast and sudden, and its over. It could be a normal day and in a blink of an eye death rears its ugly head.
Its sad but... _In life, death is inevitable. It has come for those before us, and one day it will come for us as well. But when that time comes, the world will still live on._

Unfortunate that it happened off camera, but the epic retelling of events is more cinematic than the actual moment could ever match up to. You introduced lots of us to this series and did so much for the world, so even if things didn't go as planned, you were still one hell of a generation
I came from the wood pickaxe video. I’m glad you were honest. It sucks *so* hard to loose a hardcore world, and it must suck even **more** knowing that you didn’t even get footage of it. (this is the reason i have my instant replay set to 180 seconds lol)

Thank you so much for your contribution to UHCG. Your first video is what introduced me to this series, and I've been a huge fan ever since. It also made me discover the previous generations, which are really cool creators. You've made this world and this series better and I'm excited to see where your successor takes UHCG.
Pretty similar story for me, but I discovered this from the wood tools episode (which is the 3rd one) and I'm very glad that I did click on it and I did watch the previous generations episodes as it's been an amazing journey to watch and it's a really nice refresh from the overdone aspects of minecraft, so it's amazing that we get to watch this as it happens now instead of some years in the future and regretting that we didn't get to see it sooner.
Damn, I knew that you were planning to end UHC Generations soon but I wasn't expecting your sudden death. Like all things in life, you must make do with what you have. Besides, telling us the truth is most of the time better than telling a lie. Your legacy will *never* be forgotten. Your creation of the Vengeance set and all the builds you created in the past year, your legacy will live on. With all that is said, I hope that the new generation will be as great as your time in UHC Generations.

It's been an honour seeing this from start to end. Very excited for Legundo's series.
What sort of future videos can we expect from you after this? Will it still be UHC related like history lessons or reaction/commentary videos on the new generation's videos, or will it be original stuff surrounding Minecraft like you did before UHC?
I might make a retrospective at some point, but not much on UHCG itself. Though I VERYYY much am on the hunt for something new that lets me tell stories in a similar way to how I've done here! This series has been some of the most fun I've ever had on UA-cam, and I want to find something that lets me do more of that.
@@CodeNeonMC Honestly you seem like the type to be really good at those "civilization" type videos. A lot of people do it really forced, and the only one I've seen that's somewhat organic is Ish's rather famous 1000 player experiment. But there hasn't really been another like it since.

The best way I can describe the feeling of dying in a long hardcore world dear to me is that at those moments of staring at the death screen I can feel the withering effect inside. Of course, followed by all the stages of grief and staring into the screen in spectator mode for a good 20 minutes. I found this series from legundo's first video yesterday and proceeded to binge and just now get caught up. It's really a special world and series, I love it so much. You had a good run, but it's inevitable, the world lives on. I bet seeing your successors interact and improve on the world you left behind will be the most enjoyable thing in this whole series for you

I didn't know about any of you until i saw legundo's first UHCG video, and I've been watching you guys build up this world. You made the right choice in this video. Im sad your story couldn't continue, but im happy you let it stop here, for UHCG isn't about yourself or those who came before. It, like real life, is about laying the foundation for those who come after our time comes. Dont take what youve done here lightly. You, leon, quillbee, and moai all put in the work to give legundo a strong start, and I know he'll do the same for his successor. man every death makes me emotional. Thank you the historian who made his impact on the world just like the previous generations. Imo you truly took what the previous ones left, took their legacy and chained it into a beautiful thing. Leon chose such an amazing successor. We shall see what comes next.

Unfortunate ending but still an important one. You never know when it'll all come to an end. No matter how much you prepare and no matter what you have, you can still find your end unexpectedly. You were definitely my favorite creator so far. Excellent work on the cinematography and storytelling, you really added a lot of life to the series.

Best way I can imagine ending it, to be honest. It feels unique to see the hero of the story, (That is, you), nearly reach the goal he was aiming for, in a moment of terror fall, and have his last act be to pass on the legacy to the next candidate for heroics.

Wasnt subscribed to you but the fossil hunt video came through the algorithm and then i saw Legudos episode and figured out that it was the same world and I went back and started at the beginning. So you really introduced me to this series and i love what you did with it
It's a shame that you weren't able to finish your final mission, but, alas, such is the way of things. Not everything goes the way we want, plan, or think it should.
I wish you luck on your next projects though, and I suppose we shall see what new legends Legundo creates!

Historians in the real world are only ever able to learn, write, and teach so much.
Some historians will spend their whole lives learning about a specific region, a specific time period, or in this case, a specific Minecraft world.
You may have been the first historian, but you l almost assuredly won’t be the last.
the job of a historian will never be finished because historians look back on the world while world moves forward, but, that being said, you documented the beginnings of this world in a way that future generations wouldn’t have been able to. While the Historians job continues, your job is done, and I think you did a pretty good job.
You were the one to introduce me to this project thanks to the UA-cam algorithm picking up your first video. And going back to watch through all the older videos was just an unforgettable experience. It's a Let's Play like no other. And you like us wanted to learn about and document it. And then went on to make your own story. But now it's been cut short. It's time to see where the next generation takes the world you've left behind. Hope you'll be seen again in a few generations if they do another anniversary video.

I just came to watch this after seeing Legundo's episode 1. Now I'm off to work on watching the playlist full of everyone's journey within this Legacy world. I can only imagine what Legundo will do with it. I can imagine a few simple additions that would make life a bit safer for future generations, such as a mob farm in the overworld for xp... I initially thought when watching your video that it may be worth blowing up the bedrock to put farms on the nether ceiling, but then I remembered how dangerous that can be if you aren't careful lol. The next best location for xp farms being the End, which comes with its own perils. Perils that may or may not be worth it when playing in a UHC world...
heh... all of a sudden I was reminded of the very first UHC concept that I remember. When several of the Mindcrack members did UHC with their goal of being to defeat the dragon. Approximately 12 years ago. It's amazing seeing how the concept has evolved and been added to over the years.
Thing like your decision to accept your fate, is what makes this world meaningful. Sad it ended this way but that's hardcore. And that's life. You finish some stuff, others you can't and leave for others to finish.

I first found this series with your first episode. I had a good time catching up on the previous episodes and watching yours. I am excited to see where this series goes next.
It sounds like the world decided that it was your time. And maybe there's something to that. In UHC Generations, just like in life, you don't always get to choose the way it ends, or what your legacy will be. However, you will still leave your mark on the world, and that legacy will still affect those beyond you. Maybe that's enough.

What an unfortunate way to go out, but I appreciate that you were honest (even telling us that you considered cheating your way back in, but didn't). Really though, while I think the first 3 generations were always going to be the most important ones, just by definition, you managed to leave a massive impact on the series by archiving things that would've eventually been lost to time, as well as introducing a lot of new people into the series.

Also an interesting thing I have noticed is that with every new generation there is an increase in subscribers which means that even more people will get to experience the awesomeness of this series which also means that even more people get to see the previous generations content and maybe subscribe, so yeah that is pretty cool.
