I love how the chat was so quiet but when everyone realized that this is a world record they started going crazy

@@thomasyang9517 I’m sure that happened, but most of them are using something called paceman which can ping them on discord if there are certain nether or end enter times in any top runner’s run
@@thomasyang9517 there's no need to spam. They have a plugin that alerts people automatically when someone is in an outstanding pace so they can hop in and catch the thing live.

This run might be just about perfect. So much knowledge displayed. I can't even wrap my head around some of these concepts, from locating the buried treasure, to the portal placement, to locating the stronghold and teleporting inside it. Amazing run for sure!

It's a random seed, they are using a mod to locate specific blocks that are in the player's sight of view (the small green diagram in the bottom right of the screen is used to do so). It allows to very quickly locate specific structures
@@caboose512justinf.9 He does something called mapless buried treasure. He uses the f3 screens piechart to locate any nearby chests in the chunks in his vision. By locating the specific chunk the treasure is in you can dig down on the chunk coordinates (9, 9) to find it.
@@simonlb6435That’s not a mod, I don’t know why you’re guessing and explaining it as fact. Default Minecraft has that function. And unfortunately this run is undecided as to whether or not it’s actually a random or fixed seed.
I literally have no words to explain how damn goody smooth and satisfying this speedrun was, not only once or twice but since I first watched this video it's been 5 times I'm watching this same thing. I enjoyed each of the momentum of seconds that went by, appreciate your fascinating speedrunning skills hope it gets verified soon for the official speedrun data.
This is insanely fast. I loved the underwater ravine portal especially - it is clear that you have put in many, many hours of practice to be able to do that so efficiently. Congrats!

@@JM-7406/9 on blazes is above average but certainly not insane, trades were great sure but this run really showcased drip’s skill rather than insane luck carrying the pace
None of it was nuts on its own but also absolutely nothing was bad. Name any event or any split, it was on the high end of average at worst.

And still there are a few optimizations left. Plus a bit more luck with the ender dragon and this can easily go 10-15 seconds faster.
The fact that this is faster than I get up some mornings is both incredible and sad. Incredible WR, it's so nice to see deserving runners finally getting that run!

That's nice, here's a brownie recipe:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
2. Melt 1 cup butter, mix with 2 cups sugar.
3. Add 4 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla; mix well.
4. Sift in 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup cocoa, and 1/4 tsp salt; stir.
5. Optional: add 1 cup nuts or chocolate chips.
6. Pour into the pan, bake for 25-30 mins.
7. Cool completely, cut into squares, and enjoy your brownies

my average minecraft runs are around 2 hours. You inspire me to practise and getting better and beating the ender dragon under 30. i've been playing since early 2016 on xbox 360 and now play Java. Great video. You deserve the record.

Things that you do not need for sub 7:
- a sub 1:10 enter
- a housing bastion
- a sub 3 bastion leave
- a sub 3:30 fort
- an ssv or warped fort
- perfect or near perfect rates
- leaving on 5 rods
- a stronghold blind
- a zero cycle or instaperch
sub 7 is inevitable
sub 6 is very possible
Temporarily leaving on 5 rods only to pick up a random 6th*

@@ermtosis with an even more lucky seed, better rod drops (in this run the first 3 blazes didn't drop at all) more risktaking (zero cycle etc) it's probably possible. And the only reason I think so is because when the first sub 10 happened we all thought sub 9 would never be broken and yet here we are

maybe if the pearl to the fortress landed on top (or even if that glitch of the player getting inside the wall would've happened, as if it was climbable by blocks he could easily save some time there, although 3-4 seconds at max) and also if he had a fire charge on his hotbar while making the second portal maybe it would've been a sub 7, but who am I to say?
