Wow over 9k views?! Thanks so much for watching guys!
Right now Blizzard is winning with 158 likes!
I am working on more content and I hope you enjoy!
very nice
@@JaysonPL this has been done before, i believe the first was JokeyPokey, you should give credit for the idea unless you came up with it yourself
@@goldswrathThere is credit in the video description
Dude this is awsome I’ve Ben waiting for someone to attempt this thabks
You have been blessed by the minecraft gods with the zombie of the shovel, you deserve the subs!
A month of falling in the void dude I have no words for your dedication
Dude for real I don't understand
Yooo
I know you will comment in his video
Coming from you?
21:57 "The size of my world has doubled" This line goes insanely hard for some reason
Seriously, incredible video the dedication is insane
SAMME???????
Hi gd guy
OMG KING SAMMELOT, IM SUCH A BIG FANNNNN WOWWWW
Twice the dirt, double the fall
samme
Call it Blizzard. i wanna be the guy who named the first snow block when this blows up :)
blizzard more like rizzard
Let us remember this comment/moment
There was someone before this guy who was the og true 1 block guy called @Pinu
Good name
After A comes B
now this is an ACTUAL one block challenge pls continue i've been waiting for someone to do this
www.youtube.com/@Jokeypokey
Pinu has already done it
Where were you when Pinu already did this?
Clearly wasnt around when Pinu did this
@@Game_Ender4maybe some of us don't know who that is
Despite this challenge being extremely boring you managed to make the video really entertaining. This is super underrated!
Near tears over a shovel. Commitment man. Keep going.
W, im curious how ur gonna get more blocks!
Btw, pingu did this but stopped series :(
Hope this is gonna Last!!!
@@imjustcomatosedmonkeyJust dig more snow layers.
@@lostkostinI think he meant block types.
I've watch other one-block challenge, so I won’t spoil, the objective being having as much snow blocks as possible for now!
If you set the date on your computer to Halloween you can get mobs that spawn with pumpkins on their head
That’s genius
An iron shovel has 250 durability, yours was on half health when you got it. This means you can shovel up about 125 snowballs, which makes 31 blocks. The spawn radius is 24 blocks, you can make about 5-6 spawnable blocks by building out in a straight line, before you have to grind for another shovel.
126
But when he got more block its gonna be easier to get more shovel+getting %100 shovel is near impossible but if he get enough for 24 it would be soo much faster cuz zombie can spawn without suffering
@@skeptikmavi6743 chatgpt, please translate
I don't know precisely bow spawn radii work but wouldn't building "stairs" be more efficient at creating distance?
@@prosamisTechnically yes, but running up and down those stairs would be a pain, and probably not worth it for an extra few spawnable blocks. I think he'll go for straight bridging.
Credit to the original madlad who did exactly this is in the description, Pinu, respect.
To your credit, you've streamlined the process a bit.
Also credit to JokeyPokey who came up with the idea for this challenge
I was looking for a mention of Pinu! I love his videos with this challenge, I'm excited someone else is trying it out!
"so lucky" is underrated. Bro you're literally spent a month on this, it's pure determination. I hope more ppl recognize your efforts
17:50 Budget: "...there's a grace period..."
Subtitles: *there's a great spirit*
Now do it in hardcore
That would be impossible
@@lilcat492*possible
@@oopruh how? You don't have any evidence that this would be possible in hardcore, you need to jump off the block to get mobs to spawn.
@@lilcat492 You can just use glitches to avoid death by using inv-frames
@@oopruh yeah and you can switch to old versions when you got blocks when spawning.
good luck on your journey to the dried kelp block! I think it's the hardest block to get in this challenge since you can't get lava or stone. The process is like this:
- build enough snow in a line to get mobs without the void thing.
- use mob drops like iron (trapdoors), glowstone (dust), slime blocks, or string (wool) to expand the platform slowly into an automatic mob grinder
- get an emerald from foxes that spawn on albert (or get baked potatoes from burning zombies to turn into emeralds with the trade rebalance)
- buy oak sapling from wandering trader to grow on albert (its risky but you can redo if you get unlucky or buy podzol or moss)
- get apples
- breed pigs (if you can, you should buy podzol or moss and turn to farmland to farm carrots but its not necessary) (and hopefully pigs spawned or you need more grass which you can get via moss/rooted dirt and grass spreading)
- get pigs struck by lightning until you get 8 gold ingots (it would be nice if at this point you bought a water bucket and used glass bottles/cauldron to get infinite water, which allows you to turn zombies into drowneds for copper for lightning rods but not necessary)
- craft golden apple
- lure witch to zombie villager and get her to splash him with weakness, then use the golden apple to cure villager
- repeat to get villager farm
- farm carrots or something idk to get ez emeralds
- buy kelp
- trade with fisherman until he gives you a campfire
- cook kelp into dried kelp block :)
Lemme do that right quick.
Yeah bro light work no reaction@@BudgetMC
@@BudgetMC this is huge man, any ideas on how to streamline the process?
@@BudgetMCyeah, that’s, what, 5 minutes after editing?
What’s taking so long?
(Toxicity 🎵 in my city 🎶)
Keep the challenge paced, have fun in the journey, edit lightly as you do it, it’ll grant views, yt money, and positive comments. 😊
There is a way to get lava and that is to somehow reset a chunk.
Call the Snow block Miss Frizzle 😂
Miss Frizzle and Arnold.
should be miss freezle, since it’s snow
i agree, this rocks
Please let this be a normal field trip...
@@phabrick8r21 WITH THE FRIZZ!!!!
My niece plays this game. She makes a house and farm with animals. Says her server is like a secret bonsai tree.
Try it out. There is much more to do
yessir
When you get more blocks remember to cover your first block with a 2 block roof so an enderman does not steal Arnold
Can endermen take blocks they are standing on? Or at that same level? I hope not.
@@BudgetMCI kinda recall endermen could dig holes in superflat terrains, so Arnold might be in trouble even by standing nearby.
@@gweltazlemartret6760 That hasnt been the case for a long time, My memory says thats only a thing in below 1.7. I would be worried about endermen falling OFF the block and maybe grabbing the block on the way down.
@@funky555 oh, wasn’t aware that was patched up.
As I said, I kinda recalled that from memory, it was a pain at that time to have crops removed because enderman was in the mood to do so. :D
Not sure they can naturally fall down and pick a block at the same time, i think they have to be standing idle in front a block for some time before picking it?
Even if possible, that would still be a very (un)lucky event that wouldn’t happen even on someone's dream.
imagine doing this without checkpoints...
hell
Impossible?
Wow, you are actually doing this. I was getting mad at all the "one-block" challanges where they technically have infinite blocks, which also switch to more and more useful stuff as time goes on.
Ive been looking forward to a vid like this for a while.
Didn't you watch Pinu's videos of it?
@@Game_Ender4 didn't see any
@@Game_Ender4 oh, he has also actually done it, but a year ago already...
What the hell, I thought I recognized that voice and then I saw your username? Budgetmonk Minecraft? All power to you man, I’m here for it.
I was also very confused at first. I really didn't expect him to make a MC channel.
It was indeed a strange Byzantium guide, but I'm all for it
Cringe simp 😅😮
is this really your first video? this is incredible work, keep it up! excited for the new series!
"About a month in the making"
You sir are insane. I dont know if in a good or bad way but you still have my respect O.o
You also have my thoughts and worries, please take a proper break O.o
Jesus xD
This is my favorite type of skyblock ever since Pinu proved you can start like this.
By the way, it seems you forgot that it's dark enough during the thunder for the hostile mobs to spawn so you didn't have to wait for the night time.
Without reloading saves this would truly be a nightmare. If and when a mob spawns it needs to be a zombie, the zombie needs to have a shovel and it needs to drop that shovel.
It’s a nightmare anyways and probably the worst grind I’ve ever seen
Geez. Great job, dude. Will definitely keep an eye on this. It would be fun to see an edit in the end as if everything happened like on the first try
Wow.
Just. WOW !
You're criminally underrated !
And a lil' crazy.
I was literally telling myself it was a shame nobody did this in true vanilla.
Pinu did like a year ago bud
When you introduced us to the Grass Block, named "Arnold", I instantly thought of Arnold Schwarzenegger. So when you asked us to name the Grass Blocks' friend, I just had to suggest the name "Franco", as in "Franco Columbu". I think it's safe to say that Franco Columbu was Arnold Schwarzenegger's best friend, so, yeah, there you go, haha!
I would like to nominate "Franco", as the name for the snowy friend of Arnold :)
Do with that what you wanna :p
(Arnold Schwarzenegger is "That guy from the Terminator", yes, in case any of you didn't know, among other things~ )
Reaaallyy hope this becomes a series and we get to follow your journey, keep it up dude, thanks for making this vid!
This is seriously so impressive, man! I'll be here the MOMENT these next videos drop, hope these absolutely blow up!!
Absolutely insane, good luck on the challenge and I can’t wait for more episodes!
Some name ideas for the Snow Block:
"Frosty the Snow Block"
"Snowdinger's Block"
"Powder Puff Girl"
"Frosted Flake"
"Milk Shake"
I like Frosty, my like is a vote for Frosty
This is LEGIT dude. Keep it up!
youre insane for this and the dedication is immeasurable just the smallest things probably make you so happy and restore your faith to keep grinding this big props man love to see where this goes gl ❤
Wow man, your dedication and ingenuity for this grueling challenge was very cool to watch and you made it fun and engaging with your personality. You’ve earned another sub! :)
budgetmonk! ive been watching ur eu4 vids for years, cool to see you on my recommended on an entirely diff channel
WOW BudgetMC from looking at your channel I saw this is your first ever video! This was an INSANE challange and you defenitly gained a sub and like from me!!! I really hope this channel blows up (as it should) and please continue the series (although it would be a lot of work) Anyway, AMAZING video, I loved it and think lots of others will too!!
Thanks so much!!
Genuinely incredible commitment!
Hope to see this continue as a series, keep up the amazing work!!
bro your dedication is unreal. good luck on this journey!
This is so sick dude. Cant wait for more videos on the series
this deserves way more views. you put so much work into it, and it’s so cool! looking forward to the rest of the series. also you should name the snow block alfred
i commented this at around 350 views btw
Brother I’m loving your style and overall story telling! Keep doing What you are doing dude you’ve earned yourself a sub I’m excited to see the future of this !!
Looking forward to the series and cheers to your resilience to do that challenge.
You've earned my respect, good sir. You aren't like those other youtubers who boast on and on about their seemingly long challenge videos and how "99% of players FAIL" or whatever and how they should like subscribe hit the bell icon join patreon give money merch blah blah blah. What I see is someone who has dedication not just to please some algorithm, but someone who's genuinely determined, someone willing to do the impossible, someone who'd spend a whole month just waiting for a shovel zombie to spawn just for us to see a second block in a single block world, and THAT'S the work I'm looking for in a Minecraft video: Serious undying true dedication. You've earned a subscriber with their bell rung, and a like + comment.
Much love my brother! Like I said in the video. At one point I abandoned the idea entirely. I am just so happy that some of the "work" payed off. So cool how many people enjoy the video!
@@BudgetMC Well, you got there in the end, and that's what mattered to me at least.
What a rollercoaster of emotions
This is actually really insane. I might have given up already.
It's really amazing how you kept going for it 😩❤❤.
You deserve more
The dedication is insane man, congrats! The good thing now is that every block you get, you’re gonna get exponentially more blocks since it’s more surface area for snow to land on. So you’re world is gonna get big fast.
You made getting a shovel entertaining!
Nice!
I'd suggest Gerald as the new block's name. A little Hey, Arnold reference
Eyy, good one!
I appreciate your dedication i look forward to your future videos!
This is unbelievable! So much effort! Wow. I'm amazed and impressed!
I believe the reason it took so long for mobs to spawn is because the local difficulty was still too low in the spawn chunks and the difficulty goes up the longer you stay in a area
Local difficulty doesn't increase the chance for mobs to spawn. The reason it takes so long for mobs to spawn is because the way Minecraft chooses a spawn location is by selecting one column that's within 128 blocks of the player, then spreads the chance between the bottom of the world and the highest block (the grass block), so it's basically a 1/100000 chance per tick or 1/5000 chance per second for a mob to spawn.
@@BluePsychoRanger ok...explain what local difficulty does
Great video and even greater dedication, excited to see more (no matter how long it takes)
A really cool concept for a video and very well executed. Also love the editing and your chill demeanor :)
Such a beautiful story!
I commend you for your insane effort and dedication man! 💛
This was so well made omg. The dedication you had just to start this challenge is crazy
Man this was a great video. I liked the ending too. This is going to be an interesting series. I subbed.
absolutely insane. fantastic work.
LETS GOO This is so cool man, dont stop it i really wanna watch a full playthrough
You need to publicize this everywhere it’s so monumental to actually have a video where it’s just vanilla Minecraft one block and u somehow got the smarts enough to pull it off !! Amazing work
I saw a mexican youtuber (obiromo) doing this challenge some days ago, and although he also does it in a very amusing way, your frustration at the begining makes it real!
Please keep it coming! I would like to see your world thriving!!
Man congratulations for that awesome video, that was incredible, keep going!
Underrated video. Kudos for your patience!
top notch dedication props brother!!!!!
im very hyped for the series, keep it up bro
Seen Pinu do this challenge before and loved it, glad to see another UA-camr trying it out, challenges like this are quite interesting. Closest I've attempted is a superflat no structures world (on Bedrock), and it takes advantage of a lot of the mechanics required for this as well.
I love this editing style and I hope I can remember to stay and watch the series as they are posted!
Okay, you've earned a subscrimbo for life. I love this. All of this. Keep doing this.
YEEEESSSSSSSS I LOVE THESE TYPES OF VIDEOS AND THERE ARE WAY TOO FEW OF THEM THANK YOUUUUU
you ve earned my subscribe. keep up the good work. i support you with all my heart

Great! I am excited to work on more content! I am so glad people enjoy watching!
You are incredibly underrated - I was genuinely surprised when I realised you had under 10k subscribers - keep up the good videos.
Estou impressionado com isso, parabéns pelo trabalho duro, eu não sei se vai ser uma série mas eu adorei a ideia
Insane challenge! Can’t wait for more
Keep the series alive! Looking forward to the next episode.

What a great idea, it's going to be interesting
Great series, looking forward to more!

Goodness me. The dedication 😂 Unreal. A mastery of patience and a revealing insight into the perseverance of humans to whatever they put their mind to, regardless of what it is, if they so feel the desire. Respect and hats off to you sir.
underrated for all this commitment! new subscriber!
subscribing due to the pure dedication this video must've taken, you're absolutely insane. Editing is also amazing, but I'm worried that we wont see the next upload for ages based on the nature of this challenge
