This is the best body movement stretch practice I have ever done. I am an accomplished athlete, but I needed some thing that was mild. Yeah, thoroughly flexes my entire body. Sarah is an excellent instructor! Very calm voice. She knows exactly what she’s doing. There’s never a hiccup or an excuse throughout the whole session. I’ve done Over 40 sessions with her so far and I am not going to stop now. I can feel a definite change in my body muscle and in my flexibility. I am thrilled.
I know this is an older video but I had to comment because I’m just starting to get into fitness and have been really discouraged by some beginner videos that actually seem intermediate. It’s frustrating to just be starting out and have to sit around during most of a beginner video because I can’t do half the exercises. But this was a true beginner video and although some exercises did reveal some areas of weakness for me, I could still do them all and I feel confident and I’m excited to keep practicing and get stronger. Thank you!

I've done this quite a few times before realizing I haven't given kudos. It is definitely the most centred I've felt during Pilates, normally the exercises are good for working the body but feel a bit rushed. I feel calm and relaxed while also exercising, you've done a great job. Kudos and thanks!
Excellent video, thank you. Nicely focused, always conscientious of the breath and with the right variations for beginners. There are too many people who show "beginners" routines, go into normal variations and just say "don't worry if you can't do it, you'll get there". Whilst that might be true, it's much nicer, and more effective, to have variations one can complete correctly. Cheers
This was lovely to watch and listen. I teach Pilates to all levels and it's always good to see how other instructors teach this wonderful exercise regime. My aim is always to listen to your body, be mindful of what your body is telling you on each practice - as it will nearly always be different! - breathe correctly, and the rest will happen naturally. Having a great instructor who has a clear delivery, uses verbal cues to help explain the movement etc, and gives encouragement helps too!
I went to Pilates classes for years many years ago with a fantastic teacher. Now I am trying to get back into it, and after many failed attempts on UA-cam I found this Pilates for Beginners class and it was PERFECT. Thank you for posting this on UA-cam! I have recommended to many already :)

They have put some video sessions on their F/B page-which I am using- but have found your UA-cam sessions a refreshing change. I also find your voice very calming too as you talk the viewer through your routines. Thank you.

I have sacroiliac joint pain but am able to choose a position that suits me as suggested. Teacher has a nice relaxing tone and she isn't drowned out by loud music. I feel my core is tightening up which can only be a good thing. Thank you.

I’ve been doing yoga sporadically for decades, but this was my first attempt at Pilates. I’ll be back tomorrow! Thank you so much for making it look so easy and for clear and concise prompts.

I'm enjoying your video but I have a suggestion. A video entitled 'Pilates for soft middle-aged men'. Not too far in, like well under 10 minutes, there are already things I just cannot do to save my life! Like 'lean back to the floor slowly'. It's more of freefall and a thud. lol. I need a super soft beginners video so then I might make it through it! I'll keep trying though. Txs.

I have trouble rolling flat down and then back up again. Just stayed with half seated.
