I am nervous about flying but every time I see a take off or when I’m in one, I’m commonly moved to tears. What an amazing feat of the pilots, plane, and human creation. My heart is racing watching just this video!

Efficacité incroyable et écran large sur le tableau de bord!!!

Athan Basweti I disagree: call me biased as I have grown up with a love of airbus, but I find airbus cockpits to be much more organised. Exactly right. I 'starred' in one of these for Justplanes (no, not posting the link :D ) and the camera makes it feel like a checkride because you don't want to make a balls up that your fellow pilots will slam online. We also had to use the intercom everytime for normal interpersonal communication because the sound pickup was plugged into the intercom, which made it feel quite forced because we don't normally chat like that. :)

All filming is below 10,000 feet which means the "Sterile Cockpit Rule" applies on the flight deck. International aviation law and does not permit casual conversations or interactions between flight crew during the most critical phases of the flight - take off-climb out - approach-landing . This may help explain why it seems a little dry on the flight deck. The flight crew followed aviation rules 100% very efficient and professional pilots, a credit to TUIfly.

At about 3:30, the pilot is clearly texting and driving.

correction--he's texting and flying which is much worst!

The aircraft is being maneuvered by the tug at that point, so neither of them are in control of the aircraft, and the engines are not running either. Though, having said that, unless he is doing something on his phone related to the flight, he shouldn't be on his phone regardless.

Normally pilot and co-pilot will switch roles for a flight, but why captain did both the take-off and landing in the vid?
