Also the current car lap record is held by rally driver Mark Higgins who did a 17:49.75 in a Subaru WRX STi prepared by Prodrive which he did during the 2016 TT week

You could also try different cars at mount panorama, this circuit is too unsafe for F1 in real life but it would be nice to try it in AC

Correction= the tt course is used on two occasions, the Isle of Man TT and the Manx Grand Prix which are both motorcycle events

The point you make about the race cars breaking at the jump is a big part of why i think bikes are so awesome: they are versatile. A MotoGP bike or any regular sportbike is probably better offroader than most 4x4s one can buy from a store while also being quicker than all but the most exotic sport cars.

I agree.. but the current lap record for the IM-TT is a Subaru WRX. Thats hardly exotic,I mean, there is literally more exotic motorbikes in the TT then that car.
I said quicker, not faster :D Most sports cars are probably faster around the mountain course than the superbikes, four wheels is better when it comes to cornering, and especially cornering on bumpy and dirty roads. +downfirce. The bikes will wipe the floor with most cars on acceleration though.

With the corners already appearing out of nowhere in the 919 Tribute, I can't imagine how it would be possible for any human to react in time in the X2010. Better try it with damage off...
Graphical vbrations are due to floating point error. AC only really supports a distance of 8km in any direction from the world center point. You can go much bigger (there are "endless" floor test tracks), but the vibrations get worse and worse.

The TT course is open at least twice a year for the Manx GP too late August and early September and as I know they use at least parts of the course for other events too. Secondly at the beginning that didn't look like the Evo, but the standard 919.

If you went for the flux capacitor optional extra you could have had hybrid on for the entire lap.
I don't know about anyone else, but I most certainly forsaw the inability to make that final hairpin. It was the first thing I though of when I clicked the video :P
It would be cool if you revisited this idea of TT laps. Stupid fast vehicles, like the Neil's stupidkart or the f1 car he modelled for you. Try and get a sub 10 mins haha

Successfully hit a 20 cm flat curb 2 times. Possible broken suspension and wheel.
Jump and hard landing 2 times. Possible chassis bent,
Direct frontal crash 2 times. Possible wasted the car.
Total cost approximately $ 48 million dollars.

he said it himself that the jump would completely fuck it. Also the Nordschleife at least has barriers all round. TT has brick walls and grass and houses and shitloads of trees. I still doubt they will go hard at the Nürburgring, i really dont think they will attemt TT at all
The elevation changes and road irregularities would destroy the floor of the car, and probably take some extraneous aero bits with it. And that's if it doesn't break the suspension. There's no car event for the Isle, so it would just be a very expensive and possibly very injurious exhibition lap.

There is an actual 919 Evo for assetto as well, you dont have to use the tuned up 919, pretty sure you can find it on the mods VK
If you want a MEGA download instead of a Sharemods download you can look for it in the GTPlanet mod discussion it came from but it'll be hard to find cause it's a week or two back
