I know three splendid chaps: albert swift, eric paice and cliff brumby who are upcoming sim racers ( they're gonna be big ) who swear by their eternal forefather ( who was a vigorous man despite his girth ) that they could tenously pip you on that course using the ps4 wreckfest 1965 Cadillac fleetwood Eldorado 7.5 v8 estate car minus front doors, exhaust system and in dire need of replacement engine mounts. If this monumental event is ever on the horizon, the sweat of anticipation shall be running down my neck into my cheap collar!

The steering wheel movement in R3E always seems the most realistic to me. You can see the kickback in a way that's mostly missing from AC, for instance.

V12s sound good, but I personally like the V10s and V8s, but itd be cool if teams were allowed to choose engine layout and displacement like they did in the 90s

I really can't decide what sounds better from the history pages of F1. The V10 or the V12.

Personal opinion but to me nothing beats the Cosworth DFV V8.
It's easy. Both are top notch. But are separated. If you want top of heaven music, you listen to V12. If you want top hell music, you listen to that mad V10

I think FIA has the 2021 design down to 3 different concepts right now, and then from there I assume it would be refined even further. I get this info from @formulahypersoftnews on Instagram

Suspensions and floors would be destroyed that's for sure.
Track would need to be completely reworked. Nurburgring is meant to test performance durability. The latter is not the strongest point of F1.

Precision driving. Something about having the (not keeping it real) Red Bull X2010 on the list troubles me.
It's there as a reference of what could be the fastest realistic time on the nordschleife, the car was designed by Adrian Newey and all the technology that it uses is technology we already have, they could build it, but nobody has the balls to drive it
@@jorge8596 Interesting. But still, it doesn't exist, and therefore, in my mind of course, shouldn't be on the list. They should build it though, then someone drive it remotely from a sim rig..

@Jimmy Broadbent please do the Formula GT car in gran turismo 4, 5 and 6. It's supposed to be a 3.5 litre V12 Formula 1 car with all the aero and electronic aids allowed according to what Polyphony Digital imagined it would be like.
How the heck can you drive this good and this fast while talking? If I attempted to talk, I'd be instantly out on the barriers! And I don't have to drive a car this fast and precise!
Also, you somewhat reminded me of a 15 year old video with Hans Stück informing us about the Nürburgring while driving an M3 GTR down the 24h course! Kudos! 👍

does raceroom have tire carcass flex modelling? I love how these old cars feel in rFactor2 compared to most other sims. Raceroom does feel very wooden most of the time.
Not quite the V12 sound from Senna's McLaren but this would do.
Not the best sim game, but I wore my arms clean off racing this car under full sim settings on FM7 last night with 12 laps of the full 24hr course. Don't have the car on AC. 6:46.738 on the 24hr full track. Curiously, it's one of the cars on FM7 that actually has a fully independent front supsension.
