The golden years for DTM was the late 1980s to mid 1990s.😤
Your last comment is super interesting because when the RSS F2019 came out, I had the distinct feeling that around some corners that car was X2010 fast. And I think that is true. The 2019 Formula 1 cars are insane. Really curious to see what the 2021 cars will bring. Ground Effect is a cheaper way to get grip so let's see.
You honestly thought 919 Evo can break F1 record at Monaco? Silly Jimmy 🤣
That Evo is way faster than the real 919 Evo
Never noticed till now how polite jimmy is at the end of his videos LUL
THICC BRIT HAMMERS JAPANESE, GERMAN, 2 AUSTRIANS, BRITISH AND ITALIAN IN FRANCE
I love the F2004
What I want to know is... Why are you breathing so heavily after every lap? It's not like you're actually racing anyone or there are any circumstances to it.
I picked the Lotus the other day to play. It's cool learning about the history of it and how drastically different the performance is now. It is an absolute ripper of a car and very fun to drive.
Am I the only one who misses these videos?
bro, the technique used whilst shifting is incredible!
2:50 pedal cam is insanely satisfying
This is a Simulator and it's never like real life, but we can see on this vídeo the gap of difference of driving style between the Lotus and the most recent cars....wow what a drivework on Lotus! Amazing Jimmy!
You're too modest about your abilities. That was brilliant to watch.
Just for a little bit of perspective. In 1987, when Ayrton Senna won the Monaco Grand Prix in the Lotus w/Camel livery, the top qualifying lap was 1:23.039 by Nigel Mansell and the fastest lap in the race was Senna at 1:27.685 on lap 72, so Jimmer's 1:25.8 on the Lotus is very respectable.
Dude you're heel-and-toe technique il fantastic!
I wonder if missing the apex and using a clutch kick mid turn would be faster than trying to slowly understeer around the hairpin. It seemed to work well for the 919 Evo at the runoff.
Great video jimmer, please do more of this on historical tracks with different cars
Maybe I've been watching Sky Sports too long, but there's something about F1 and an English accent that just belong together.
Aaaaaah, Schumacher's Ferrari
That X2010 lap legitimately looks like it's sped up footage, which is absolutely absurd how fast that thing is.
