Thanks for all these videos! I have a couple thousand hours in Morrowind. Got it when it first came out and was my introduction into open world games. Now in my 50s, I just started playing back through it again, but with the DLCs. Never had these before. Still IMO the nest of all the Elder Scrolls games. I think the spell points the game gives you is a lick on the small side, but with it? Makes casting magic less of an ordeal. Literally no downsides imo since most of morrowind is taking place in interiors
I LOVE this. I just created a character dedicated to using every exploit and gathering every powerful artifact to become The Greatest Mage of all Time. This robe is a must for his checklist. By the way, I love seeing someone who has as much fun playing Morrowind as I do.

Never thought of… well a couple things. As much as I used the resist magica for the boots, I never once thought of using it for the Mantle. The Mantle would also be perfect for a vampire character , you’re already avoiding the sun anyway, plus the bonuses from vampirism.
Almost every playthrough I naturally explor e Morrowind and Morinhold first solstheim is usually the last thing I do and to me finding that robe late in the game when your magic skills are going to be high feels natural that you'll be able to find an item that will let you cast high-level spells

Another thing uses the boots of blinding speed but I always thought they were slow I just use hop toad rings until I can have a constant jump ring that allows you to travel halfway across the Island in a half a dozen jumps
